Speaker 1:

Speaker 2:

How'd I say my hair keeps on the fire.

Speaker 1:

Well, it looks nice. Thank you yeah, it looks good. Now, something I just want to know, because I love watching 20 Versus 1, just because I be in shock that people actually sign up. I be shocked just that the women are willing to like throw themselves at the men. So before I even ask what I really want to ask, I just want to know did you always want to go on that show or did you just do it because you were just like fuck it, it's just something to do.

Speaker 2:

Nah, like I seen a couple people do it, it wasn't because I seen nobody do it. I'm the type of nigga that I don't really care for all that. There's a couple people offer me some money to do it, but I just did it. It's 20 versus one because I had a showdown there.

Speaker 1:

Damn you know the other hand, I'm going to put it on me the other hand, so that's what got me on there. Okay, so I'm like to put it on me, the other hand.

Speaker 2:

So that's what got me on there. Okay, so I'm like all right, bitch, I can dig it. I see what it's really about, even though in the gym week I done had real touch. I done made them feel like my cut. He don't need to post this. I'm going to pay you, I'm going to give you your money back. Don't need to post, I done went two on 20 person one.

Speaker 1:

What.

Speaker 2:

I don't got on real hand one.

Speaker 1:

So did you. Are you talking to anybody from the actual show? Have you talked to anybody? Maybe it didn't work out, but do you find something you're interested in when you actually go on?

Speaker 2:

At 20 person. Yeah, all the girls. All the girls are so gonna be interested. It's just, I don't think I'm putting it my way. I don't think that they gonna fuck Sid. Everybody can fuck Sid. Sid ain't gonna fuck everybody. I might not even fuck nobody.

Speaker 1:

He said I might, I might not fuck nobody.

Speaker 2:

I don't want no person. Self person. I ain't too much Self person. Damn, I know me. I might get an Airbnb. I'll be like a person Damn I know me. I'm like at the Airbnb. I be like 20% off. All 20 girls come Gonna leave me at the Airbnb with some guy. I'm gone, you ain't gonna see me, you gonna be leaving me. I ain't never coming. What was the point of it? Nah, after 20% off, you ain't gonna see me no more.

Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, just for the day.

Speaker 2:

Airband beat at the pot or something. Got it, got it, got it.

Speaker 1:

Okay Dang, all right, so you enjoyed yourself nonetheless, it was cool it was something slight.

Speaker 2:

It was something slight.

Speaker 1:

All right, so let me just backtrack for those who aren't familiar with set.

Speaker 2:

How long have you been making music and what are some of your inspirations In the industry? I'm a year in the industry right now. Cool, I like it, I like it, I like it, you do, I like it. It's a lifestyle, but there's a lot going with it. You know what I'm saying. It's still coming behind music and another image. I be focusing on my other image. Music is going to put a big picture in the way. It's going to put a big picture in the way. So I got to make sure everything outside of music look good. It's all right, it could have been good inspiration though.

Speaker 1:

Good, Glad you know that. What is the what artists are like. Were you listening to that, you would say helped develop your sound.

Speaker 2:

Free. Pooh, shastri, pooh, shastri Pooh. Yeah, then we got Baby Lil Baby for sure, lil Baby for sure. You got a nigga like Gucci Big Walk. You got Walk. We're going to say all the 10-7-10. We're going to put our whole roster on. We're going to put our whole roster, the whole 10-7-10. Yes, then we're going to go. That's how they do it. We're going to be like Broadway Kodak. A lot of folks been in the industry before. Shit, like the 21st century, they got plenty of people.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

They're plenty of people, but people like that IH was like punk. They like baby Sharks and shit.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no way. No, those are great ones. And talk to me about just your name. What's FTO? Where's Set come from?

Speaker 2:

FTO.

Speaker 1:

Not the deep breath.

Speaker 2:

FTO man, we speak like FTO, fto, just crazy.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

FTO, just crazy. I don't sit, though I don't sit like I got to sit, like from the move, like sit it out. I used to do so much stuff back then like I ain't never hesitate or nothing, I'm just going to go with it, so sit it out.

Speaker 1:

That's why they give you set.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm like man, I couldn't just sit like I'm sitting in the rickety-skirt. The what Fucked up. I was crazy. Oh yeah, that's that I made on some money shit. I be thinking of other ideas for FTL. I just It'll come Fucked up crazy. I just outstand, I just outstand, I just outstand the term right there.

Speaker 1:

I just outstand.

Speaker 2:

Okay, all right, and you grew up in Miami, right In Miami? Uh-uh, I'm in South Vegas. What South Vegas? I'm in Memphis.

Speaker 1:

No, where did I get that from?

Speaker 2:

Miami Mine Palm tree.

Speaker 1:

Oh, you know what? No, this is just a photo of you in Miami. That's where I fucked up. Okay, I'm sorry. So you from Memphis Damn, Memphis is actually going crazy right now. How does it feel? Because this is like a renaissance for music in Memphis.

Speaker 2:

On my hand. They harassing me in my city.

Speaker 1:

They harassing you. That's a good thing, though.

Speaker 2:

Nah, that's not good.

Speaker 1:

No, mm-mm, take care of my community and my people.

Speaker 2:

They harassing you. That's a good thing, though. Nah, that's not good. No, mm-mm. Oh, I just take care of my community and my people.

Speaker 1:

Make sure they ain't go right over there.

Speaker 2:

They harassing me in my neighborhood and my community. So I'm not going to look bad, but that's how it is. I'm the prince of Memphis, for sure, king Krupp, my rap.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, you know I will say it's really dope to see how people from Memphis really take care or care about their city, Because you don't see that all the time.

Speaker 2:

I know Like there's a lot of niggas that take care of the city though, like in Memphis, like God they thought over, they're like Shiesty again.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Or that big third and them and shit. Like a lot of young folks they're actually getting money, they're actually taking care of their community and their people around me, but it's a lot of problems around me too, Like it's a whole lot of problems. Nobody get along.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it comes with the territory, right. Why do you guys or what is it that you guys all want to pour back into the city, like what you mean by that? Like why do you guys do it? I love that y'all do it, but I don't see that happening in other cities. You know, like New York artists don't be pouring back into other New York artists, but all of Memphis take care of Memphis. What do you think that is? Why is y'all community so strong?

Speaker 2:

Because I feel like some of them feel like they got to give certain niggas their props and flowers. But certain niggas really be dick riding, Screw them all. I like some niggas be dick riding.

Speaker 1:

That's everywhere though.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they everywhere. But like that Memphis nigga on their bag, like if one Memphis nigga don't like one Memphis nigga, it gonna be six other Memphis niggas that will deal with these Memphis niggas. Gonna go with these Memphis niggas. Now, y'all like them n that shit. Kick it or nothing.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Because that's just petty. Nah, you just need to like me, anyway, me and my nigga them like we don't get money. She wasn't trying to be your bud. I don't want to see you with no money in my life, Like you just here, Because if I see you with some money, your shit can go to my nigga them. You know what, If my nigga at zero, you finna be at zero now they gonna bring my nigga shit now. I ain't got no buddy, friend, friend, nothing Understood I ain't got nobody for that?

Speaker 1:

Okay, and we're about to play a game. It's called questions that need answers, so all you got to do is fill in the blank. All right, bitch, all right. My personality trait is blank.

Speaker 2:

What you mean. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. It's too fast.

Speaker 1:

What it's too fast. One word Describe your personality trait.

Speaker 2:

What you mean by that? Like, hey, my personality. Yeah, ah, damn, all right, it's a little. All right, my personality.

Speaker 1:

Say loving, you're loving. Why you don't want to commit to loving? Ain't nothing wrong with being loving.

Speaker 2:

I ain't going to say I'm just loving. Personally, I ain't going to make it like I'm just too, too sweet Because I got a mode. I got a mode, I got real deal mode. I got turn on, turn off mode.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

So I ain't going to say I'm just too sweet. She just think that. She think that I take that, she think that I take that.

Speaker 1:

But I'm chill and loving.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to take that Chill and loving.

Speaker 1:

All right, those are good ones. The older I get, the less I blink.

Speaker 2:

That's how I wear it.

Speaker 1:

Good.

Speaker 2:

All right, that's how I wear it. More I cheat.

Speaker 1:

Why do you think you worry less now that you're older?

Speaker 2:

Because I feel like I lost you on my mind. Now it's a young lady, damn.

Speaker 1:

Because I feel like I lost it on my mind Just different priorities.

Speaker 2:

It's different priorities. They're like you got to learn and shit. You got to learn and got to be. A lot of people don't know priorities in the man, yeah, the use and the muscle of this shit. You know what? I'm saying it's a muscle son Shit, it's got to happen when it comes to priorities.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no priorities. As a man, I feel like at what age do you even learn that? Because some niggas never learn you know what I mean.

Speaker 2:

At my moment, I'm a teacher. I'm not bringing them this shit. I'm on my 10th kid 10? I see them boys through the rest of me. Like me, I'm learning this shit. I was already coming up at the age of 14, 12 and shit.

Speaker 1:

Where are you at in the 10?

Speaker 2:

I'm a baby boy, I'm a little child. What I'm with my sister.

Speaker 1:

Wow.

Speaker 2:

I was probably like 15, 14 type of shit. I was a bit advanced though. I got other partners and shit there. I don't have anything any ass about certain shit. I already doing shit Old nigga was doing. I was doing old nigga shit as young nigga, young nigga shit. I was an old nigga.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Like man, I still do young nigga shit, but I know when to do it and when to look. Be free.

Speaker 1:

Turn it on, turn it off as need be. No, that makes sense.

Speaker 2:

You would never believe me if I told you blank. Nah, I don't want to say that. I mean, I don't know if you believe me if I said I went to college.

Speaker 1:

What school you went to.

Speaker 2:

See, that's why I don't want to say it.

Speaker 1:

What school.

Speaker 2:

You go to FTL Cameruna College.

Speaker 1:

Yo stop playing.

Speaker 2:

For real. I went to my old school.

Speaker 1:

FTL Cameruna College. What? Why are you not giving up the T? I'm giving it up. No, you're not. You're talking about FTTO College. No, I'm talking about FTO.

Speaker 2:

Commercial College. All I can say is I'm proud of you.

Speaker 1:

What? And your brother's a Kappa? You didn't want to be a Kappa.

Speaker 2:

I'm an Alpha, oh an Alpha I ain't want to be. I ain't no lot of bruise and meat. Yo, it's only for like a month.

Speaker 1:

It's like a month. It's just the hazing process.

Speaker 2:

A month, crazy. You haven't put your hand on me neither. I don't even put my hand on me, neither.

Speaker 1:

You know they can only go so far, so it's not like.

Speaker 2:

I do the elimination. Alright alright Overdue. I ain't put my hand on me.

Speaker 1:

Alright, so why did you drop out of college?

Speaker 2:

Me.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I just walked out that year. It wasn't a job, but I just walked out.

Speaker 1:

Why? Because I didn't feel it. You wasn't feeling it.

Speaker 2:

I had two more going on. I was taking four shit. I was doing all types of shit in school.

Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

Speaker 2:

I was never going to class.

Speaker 1:

So you was in school to be social. You wasn't even in school to be in school.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, like I just felt like this shit wasn't going to teach me. I can learn this shit on the street, I mean you're not really lying, so I get it At the age of that this shit was weak.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I hear you. Yeah, taking loans out, putting yourself in debt, I'm fucking over it. Let me see what else. Oh, I wish I knew a little bit more about Blink.

Speaker 2:

You.

Speaker 1:

Me. Yeah what you want to know.

Speaker 2:

A lot.

Speaker 1:

Like.

Speaker 2:

I can say this shit on camera what? Yeah, this the face right there. You got that face right there. This the face right there. This the face right there. I like how you zoomed this out of the air. Like that right there. Keep it out there. We're going to kill these things.

Speaker 1:

Oh Lord, oh my God, we, oh my God.

Speaker 2:

We'll go viral these days. Oh my God.

Speaker 1:

You not going to tell me?

Speaker 2:

All right, nah, I'll tell you what the camera told me.

Speaker 1:

Fine, all right. Sometimes I look back at my life and blink. I'm really him, period Okay.

Speaker 2:

From time to time it's good to do blink. Stay by yourself.

Speaker 1:

You said stay by yourself, time for yourself. Yeah, now that's real. How often do you do that?

Speaker 2:

Every day.

Speaker 1:

I feel like that's hard to do as an artist. You got a team, you got peers.

Speaker 2:

And when I move and when nobody will move. When I move, when I call. I might wake up at 5 o'clock and they take me out, break my teeth, wipe my face, take a shower. So now I'm sitting in the autopsy. I come outside at 8 o'clock playing with me.

Speaker 1:

So you take your time. You got a little morning ritual.

Speaker 2:

There be people in the house and shit. They just know, damn, stir y'all ears. What's stirring my shit? I ain't got time to turn her out If they don't get you loud, I'm dipping on the air. I'm gone, okay, I'm deep in on the air. I'm calm. Okay, now that makes sense. I'm secure as hell. Oh, all, right, now you're wildin' relax. I'm glad I'm alive before nothing else.

Speaker 1:

I'm secure and all that type of shit, what? Okay, all right, let's talk about. Well, actually there's a few things. First, I wanna talk about this new single Push Ups. What was the inspo behind this? To?

There's a lot of folks be trying to be bullies. There's a lot of shit be going on around them town. I just remember I be able to see this shit for myself. For me to believe the media. I ain't doing the media. I ain't doing a lot of people go about the media, so push up on me, put up on tape something.

Speaker 1:
