I've never been a fan of video, more specifically being on camera, so when I discovered TikTok and saw all of the dancing and (in my opinion silly videos) my immediate reaction was nope, not for me!

Over the last two years I rapidly witnessed how fast the platform was not only growing but maturing, the videos seemed less "bubble gum" and frivolous, but more educational and inspiring, without being boring, much more my speed.

Quickly, every entrepreneurial-based podcast I listened to or business coach I followed continually spoke on the need to start paying attention to not just TikTok, but, short-form videos and I quickly noticed how visual artists utilized the resources available to them to demonstrate their creativity.

Once I become clear on how platforms like TikTok could be used to promote art/artists I decided to get over myself, get some training, roll up my sleeves, and dive in, because like it or not, if you're using social media to promote your coloring book you better get serious about using video and that's the focus of this episode and the next episode of the podcast
