Welcome to 'Healing Emotional Wounds Meditation,' Part 1 of my transformative Uplevel + Flow Meditation Series happening right here at The Femme Cast. Let's get started. Begin by finding a comfortable position, whether seated or laying down, allowing your body to feel fully supported and at ease. Close your eyes and take a deep breath through your nose, filling your lungs completely, holding for a moment and then slowly exhaling through your mouth, releasing any tension along with your breath. Repeat this process a few more times, breathing deeply, slowly and evenly, allowing each breath to carry away any stress, worries or tensions that may be present at this time. Gently acknowledge any thoughts or feelings that come up. There's no need to judge or resist them in any way. Simply observe and allow them to pass through you as though they were floating away on a cloud, slowly passing you by one cloud at a time as you continue to breathe deeply and steadily.

MARIA @THEFEMMECAST:

Imagine a soothing wave of calm beginning at the top of your head. Of calm beginning at the top of your head. This wave is gentle and comforting, like a soft, warm blanket enveloping you. Let this wave of calm flow down from your scalp, slowly making its way down your forehead, relaxing every muscle in your face. Feel your jaw unclench and your cheeks soften. The wave moves down your neck and shoulders, gently releasing any tension you might be holding, letting your shoulders drop just a little bit lower, allowing it to cascade down your arms, relaxing your biceps, your forearms and your fingers, feeling this calm energy wash down your chest and back, easing any knots or tightness or areas of heaviness. As it goes, your breath becomes smoother and deeper. Your breath becomes smoother and deeper. The wave continues down through your hips, thighs and knees, releasing any stored tension. Let it flow through your calves and shins down to your feet and toes, bringing complete relaxation to all areas of your body. As this wave passes through your body, notice how each part feels lighter and more at ease. Embrace the serenity and the stillness that this experience brings. The serenity and the stillness that this experience brings. Let this wave guide you into a deep state of peaceful relaxation. With each breath, sink deeper into a state of relaxation, opening yourself up to the transformative experience ahead. Trust that you are exactly where you need to be at this time.

MARIA @THEFEMMECAST:

Now let's begin the visualization exercise to help you identify which relationships you need to work on and why. First, take a deep breath in and, as you exhale, allow your mind to settle into a calm and focused state. Let your thoughts drift back to the relationships in your life. Allow your subconscious to guide you to the relationship that needs your attention most right now. This could be a present relationship or a past relationship. As a particular relationship comes to mind, visualize yourself in a quiet and peaceful place with this person. Notice your surroundings and how you feel being there with them. Reflect on the nature of this relationship and how it made you feel at the time. Did you feel valued? Did you feel loved? Did you feel neglected? Did you feel overlooked? Did you feel taken advantage of? What was it that you felt in this relationship? Allow yourself to experience those emotions fully right now, knowing that you're safe to do so.

MARIA @THEFEMMECAST:

Now that you're clear on how this relationship made you feel, I want you to consider what this relationship made you believe about yourself. What negative or positive beliefs did this relationship help you to create and narrate about yourself? Did it strengthen your self-worth? Did it make you doubt your value? Reflect on how these beliefs have influenced your current mindset and also how they might be influencing your current relationship patterns. Where are these beliefs now showing up and creating maybe some unpleasant patterns in your relationships? Some unpleasant patterns in your relationships? Now think about what you might have left unsaid in this relationship. What do you wish you could say to them now? What do you wish you would have said then? What are the words or the thoughts that you wish you would have expressed to them at that time when you had the chance? Allow yourself to express those thoughts and feelings now in this safe and imaginative space, knowing that your message will be energetically received with love. With love.

MARIA @THEFEMMECAST:

Now I want you to reflect on the lesson that this relationship had for you. What did it teach you about yourself, about what you need in a relationship, about how you show up in relationships, about what kind of boundaries you need to have in relationships? How was this relationship trying to transform you for the better, and how was it bringing you closer to identifying what a healthy, loving relationship looks like for you? Allow yourself to absorb the insights from this lesson and finally, consider how you want to apply this lesson to your life today. How can you use this new information and understanding to create healthier, more fulfilling relationships today?

MARIA @THEFEMMECAST:

Take a few moments to absorb these reflections now, music. When you're ready, slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment, carrying these insights with you as you move forward on your journey, as we come to the end of the meditation. Take a moment to express gratitude for the journey that you just experienced and for this relationship, for coming into your life to teach you this valuable lesson. Thank yourself for the courage and the openness that you've shown today in releasing this emotional baggage and inviting healing into your life. And now begin to bring awareness back to the present moment. Notice the sounds around you, the feeling of the ground beneath you and the gentle rise and fall of your breath. Take a deep breath in and, as you exhale, slowly start to move your fingers and toes, awakening your body with gentle stretches stretches when you're ready, softly open your eyes and carry this sense of peace and clarity with you as you continue through your day.
