Coach Garner joined the UCLA Athletic Performance staff in the spring of 2017 as an assistant athletic performance coach and currently serves at the Director of Athletic Performance. He is responsible for implementation of athletic performance programs for the UCLA Softball, Women’s Volleyball, and Women’s Golf teams. 

A native of St. Louis, MO, he completed his undergrad at the University of Oklahoma in Health and Exercise Science, and graduate degree at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in Strength and Conditioning. He has interned at the University of Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and UCLA. He was also the graduate assistant at Colorado College. Coach Garner is a certified strength and conditioning coach through the NSCA.
