Chef Konstantinos Pitsillides took the Philadelphia restaurant scene by storm when he opened his flagship Kanella restaurant in 2007. His flair for his home country of Cyprus, and his Michelin Star apprenticeship education in London caught the eyes of Philadelphia Inquirer food critic Craig LaBan, VICE, Esquire, and Giles Coren of Million Dollar Critic just to name a few. But Konstantinos' restaurant endeavor was not smooth in the least, taking its toll mentally as well as financially.  He has moved on to being an author and caterer, as well as offering cooking classes to private groups.
