“Pre-pandemic, we were a vibrant location with a lot of positives. Our community is a very relational community…without six degrees of separation. Because of a strong sense of community and relationships… together with mayoral leadership, we made adjustments quickly to meet the challenges.”
-Beth Ineck

Leading Economic Recovery

What is the secret strategy behind topping out the J.P. Morgan Chase 2023 study of the nation’s recent economic recovery? Our guest this week, Beth Ineck, CEcD, reveals just that. On this episode of DesignIDEATE, we engage with Ms. Ineck, Director of Economic Development, Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP), who shares a fascinating story of working out-of-the-box toward high achievement in Strategic Economic Development.

Working in the economic development field since 2004, Ms. Ineck in a leadership position at Boise Valley Economic Partnership, drives the business recruitment project management and strategy for the regional organization.  Prior to joining the BVEP in July 2021, she served multiple roles including Economic Development Director for the City of Nampa. While in service there, Ms. Ineck oversaw two major downtown redevelopment projects and secured millions in financing for Library Square and the Public Safety Building.  She actively managed the business recruitment, retention and expansion efforts.  Between 2013 and 2021 Ms. Ineck negotiated for new and existing businesses to locate there, resulting in over 5,000 new jobs and over $750 Million in new investment.

Ms. Ineck serves on multiple boards of directors within the community including: Idaho Economic Development Association, Capital Matrix, Saint Alphonsus Nampa Community Board, Saint Alphonsus Hospital System Board and Boys and Girls Club of Canyon County.
