Rick Altizer
“Renaissance Man” Rick Altizer, is an award-winning film director, recording artist, music producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and radio show host. He and his wife Jan live in Nashville and have two sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandsons.
Rick is the director of The Kendrick Brothers’ SHOW ME THE FATHER documentary, which was in nearly 1,100 theaters and received an A+ CinemaScore rating. Rick is also the director of RUSS TAFF: I STILL BELIEVE, which won nine film-festival awards. Rick has also directed three award-winning documentaries for Chonda Pierce: UNASHAMED, ENOUGH. and LAUGHING IN THE DARK.
Twice nominated for Dove awards as a music producer, Rick has worked with Johnny Cash, Vince Gill, Marty Stuart, and Russ Taff. As an artist, he recorded seven studio albums with three top-10 singles.
