Change comes from within. Change comes from within. Today is a bonus episode for our Foundation Friday episode, where we looked at the book by Joseph Nugent called Don't Believe Everything you Think. We're focusing on affirmations to help you overcome intrusive thoughts or overthinking. Here's how it's going to work. I'm going to repeat a number of affirmations to help you move away from an overactive thinking habit and allow you to learn to let go of the thoughts that don't serve you your job. Lie back, get comfortable and close your eyes, and hopefully you may even drift away. You can always repeat these affirmations to yourself out loud or in your mind. In fact, I encourage you to do that. I've made an intro free recording with gentle sounds and images. I am naturally in control of my mind. Peace is my natural state of being. There is only this moment I trust myself. There is no need to analyze every thought I have. I am far greater than the sum of my thoughts. My thoughts do not define me. I am in the process of positive change. Everything in life is happening for me. I attract positive energy. I have nothing to worry about. I will stop identifying myself with my thinking. I am free from constraints. I am choosing to be happy right now. I am at peace in my mind. I am at peace in my mind. I am strong. I am powerful. I am calm. I only exist right now. My mind is at peace right here, in this moment. I am enough. I am in charge of my life and my mind. I release myself from the need to empower worry. With my constant thoughts, I create the world I am in. I am always able to refocus my thoughts on something more helpful. I can change my thoughts. I have peace in my life and mind. I surrender my fear and my doubts, as they do not serve me. I choose to replace worry with love and acceptance. I have power over my mind. Everything is working out for my good. I can switch off my thoughts at will. I have strong authority over my thinking. I am leading a life of happiness and calm. My thoughts do not control me. I am living in the present moment. My mind is uncluttered. I will not worry about things out of my control. I have the power to create the life I want. I release all negative thoughts that do not serve me. I am here in the present moment. My thoughts do not control me. I choose what thoughts I entertain. I release my need to control all things. I have the power to abolish any obsessive thoughts. I can dictate my own life. I can be trusted to make the right decisions. I am in control of my thoughts. I am worthy of love and respect. I don't need to worry about things that I can't control, about things that I can't control. I release myself from the burden of perfectionism. I don't have to entertain any thoughts that don't serve me. I choose to focus on thoughts that bring me joy and peace and love. My life is a beautiful gift. I am valued and wanted and needed. I deserve to be at peace. I have an abundance of love and joy and peace in my life. I banish all intrusive thoughts from my mind. I don't need to be a people pleaser. I treat unhelpful thoughts like a cloud in the sky letting them blow by. Every good thought comes to me. Naturally, I focus on the good and I find it. I am in control of my thinking. I don't need to worry about the thoughts that come filtering into my mind. They're just thoughts, they're not me. I am naturally in control of my mind. Peace is my natural state of being.
