Show Notes:

Today, I welcome Sheryl Green as a guest onto the show.  She is the author of six books, including You Had Me at “No.” She has also dedicated her life to providing a voice for those who cannot speak and donates her time, talent, and money to animal rescue. Sheryl holds a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology and has worked in Mental Health, Customer Service, Public Relations, Education, and the Non-Profit world, bringing a unique blend of experience and insight to her audiences.

Sheryl has taken “people-pleasing” to Olympic levels.  For decades, she put everyone else’s needs above her own… until she hit a metaphorical brick wall. After committing to one too many responsibilities, Sheryl not only discovered that boundaries are “a thing”, but the importance of boundaries.  Now she works with individuals and organizations to establish healthy boundaries to improve relationships, communication, and well-being.

As women, we are taught to smile, be nice, keep our opinions to ourselves, and put everyone else's needs above our own.   Sheryl and I share ways for you to break down your own walls to find your voice. Listen today.

“When you have difficulty saying no, it’s because you feel that you don’t have the right to.  You not only have the right to have boundaries, but you have the responsibility to.”- Sheryl Green
