Hi and welcome to the have the Audacity podcast, where we are all about living our own version of our best life. My name is Jacey. I'm a multi-passionate human obsessed with personal growth, and I want you to come on this journey with me, where we share our stories and learn tools, tips and tricks to live the life we were always meant to live. So let's lean into the uncomfortable celebrator highs and embrace our lows, because all of it's important. It may get a little messy, but it's time to have the audacity. Hey, audacious Human, I'm so glad that you're here for today's episode. I wanted today's episode to be a little different. So if you are listening to this in real time, it is December 28th. It is the Thursday after Christmas. We're in that sweet time where it's between Christmas and New Year's, and I wanted to do something especially. A lot of people spend a lot of time with their family or maybe you're not getting to spend time with family. It's just energies all over the place at this time and I wanted to come in and bring something different and unique for the last episode of 2023, which is wild, but I know I've talked about on here that I am closing down Audacious Collective, not because I haven't enjoyed it, but because you have to remove things to create space for things to come, and so I wanted to bring this recording. In the collective we had the opportunity to have Audrey Rose, who, if you've been listening for a while, she was on episode 93. And if you haven't listened to it, I will link it in the show notes for you. It was a great episode. It was a two-parter there's a part on have the Audacity and a part on Her Podcast, ready to Rise. But what she also does is chose these retreats and all of these things. But she started getting into the sound bath world and I dove deep into sound bath on episode 37, which I will also link below with one of my dear friends, laura Step, who is somebody I attend her sound bath sessions and we talk all about it, and so if you've ever been curious about what that is, I have linked that episode in the show notes. If you want to know who Audrey Rose is, linked her episode in the show notes, and so that's there for you.

But in the collective we had Audrey come in and do a sound bath, guided meditation, and I enjoyed it so much. It was such a great experience and I wanted to bring that to you. I wanted you to be able to have it, and so I asked her if she was cool if I shared it on here with y'all. And of course she was like yes, please do. She does these monthly in her membership community and I just love them so much and I thought it was the perfect thing for this time of year I mean really for any time of year but for you to have this to be able to come back to and do it again and again.

Speaker 1:

And this guided meditation is over your higher self in its beautiful and so find somewhere cozy. I mean you could listen to this driving your car. Just don't close your eyes. But do not recommend, but like, if you can get seated lay down, get cozy, just get comfy and just listen to this. And if you can't do that, it's still super beneficial. If you just listen to it, the sound vibrations are. You're still going to get that effect in your car or whatever. But I really challenge you to carve out some time to just do this, even if you just do it in parts. I just I really wanted to share this with you to close out 2023, to give this restorative moment to your energy, just a form of self care and just a moment of space. So, for the last time in 2023, without further ado, let's dive into today's episode. You can take it away.

Okay, sounds good.

Speaker 2:

Okay. So the first thing, when I do them over like a video call, I am going to start off with just a little test so you guys can make sure you have your volume right, because these bowls can get so loud. You don't want it too low, but you definitely want it high enough. And for everyone watching the replay, my biggest suggestion, and for you guys right now the best thing, is to grab some like AirPods or something, or maybe headphones if you can, because that gives you like the best audio. So let me do a little sound Okay, and you can adjust your volume. And it is, oh my gosh, I totally forgot until now.

Speaker 2:

It's a full moon, oh my gosh. So this will be so relaxing. You know what we will focus on releasing, and I also want to kind of guide you into seeing your highest self. That's kind of one of the meditations that I personally love to offer people and that I've gotten really good feedback about. So I will do that. But, yeah, full moons are a really good time to release just all of this energy. Like, as you picture the moon coming into a full moon, it's like the energy just builds up and builds up and builds up until it's like full, and then we just want to like release that out. So this will be so much fun. I will remind you at the end. But anytime that you do energy work, you want to make sure that you hydrate really well afterwards and get a good amount of rest. So just focus on that.

Speaker 2:

After you are listening to this, and I also want to let you know you guys probably already know, but anything that comes up for you, it's normal. There are people who like burp, there are people who like fall asleep Because all kinds of reactions to any type of energy movement, and so whatever comes up is completely normal. Just embrace it, roll with it. You can cry, you may yawn, like don't stress about it. A sound bath meditation is. It works, I guess you could say by. It's like a subconscious response, but it's going to go into your body and all of the vibrations will do their own thing. So it's not like you have to sit and do the thinking or it's not like anything that you really need to do on your part. So, that being said, get cozy, get comfortable. If you're able to lay down, please lay down. Kind of soften your gaze, soften your eyes and, yeah, lay down. Anyway, that feels good to you and we will begin. So I'm just going to have you start by shedding your eyes and again, just let those vibrations just kind of sink in to wherever they land in your body.

Speaker 2:

As you start to relax, just pay attention to where you're feeling this in your body. Take a deep breath and just remove your tongue from the roof of your mouth, settle into that calmness, allow yourself to just be grounded in this moment, know that you don't have to do anything right now. Take another deep breath in, just sigh it out, remembering that you don't need to be doing anything right now. Your body is naturally going to start bringing up memories to release. Maybe it's a feeling, maybe it's an actual thought process, a limiting belief, and as your subconscious provides you with these thoughts, just release them, just letting those go. Remove your memory, thought by thought, and as you release, just ignore any judgment that wants to come up. Relax without judgment, send it off with love. You can even visualize those little butterflies flying up and just being released, your little clouds passing in the sky, and as you picture those being released, you start to notice that you feel your body somewhere out in nature.

Speaker 2:

Maybe you're next to an ocean, maybe you're next to a river, calm stream. You can feel the sunshine on your face. You can feel the earth beneath your body, the warm grass. You can hear the animals, birds, chirping. All of the stress and negativity that we are not taking into the next year with us is literally escaping, just going off, carried away down by the water. It's almost like you're literally just rinsing it away and you're just relaxing in this meadow, this beautiful area, and just feeling the sun on your face. And as your body naturally releases what no longer feels good to you, you start to reflect on what is. Your body naturally brings up memories and feelings that are beautiful, reflecting on how wonderful you are, how worthy you are, how enough you are, and you're feeling so good that you decide to walk along this river, this stream of water. You're not even thinking about anything. You're just feeling the beautiful moment. You're just enjoying it, feeling the sun on your face, listening to all these animals, just enjoying your own company. And as you continue walking, you start to get this feeling that you're not alone. It's a good feeling, rising inside you, knowing that you're okay being alone, but you're not right now.

Speaker 2:

As you continue walking, you see the figure of a woman standing next to the stream of water. You can't tell who it is, but you feel this incredible emotion of love towards her. And as you get closer, you notice how much she resembles you. From a distance, you can see all of these beautiful features that you, that you know are part of you, that you've always embodied within yourself but never really seen for yourself. It's her physical appearance, the way she carries herself, the love she radiates.

Speaker 2:

You can sense all of that, all of those characteristics that you've longed for in yourself within her. And as you get closer, she confirms what you had been thinking this is a version of myself, this is literally a version of me. And she tells you you're not dreaming, I really am that highest version of yourself. You start to just take it in, taking this moment in, as you can see those amazing parts of her, what she looks like, who she is. As you talk to her, she just radiates this confidence and love. You see so much of that woman that you've always wanted to be in her and you start reflecting on all the different parts of her that you just love. As you see her, just take note of who she is, how she acts what lights her up.

Speaker 2:

You start to notice just how she moves, how she acts, the way in which she speaks. This is all the way that you have longed to be, this is what you've been working towards, and you pause because you realize that is the future version of myself she notices the excitement.

Speaker 2:

She notices how you're feeling, almost as if she can read your mind. She confirms that, yes, this is a version of you that you will one day embody. It reminds you that it may seem hard right now, you may feel like you're not there yet, but don't worry, you will be. She lets you know that you truly have her inside of you. She truly lives there already. And as she says this, it's almost like this wave of calm just rolls over your body. Because you know it to be true. You realize how often the outside world creeps in and tries to make you think differently or feel differently, and in this moment you get to remember her. She truly is a part of you. As this starts to overwhelm you emotionally, she reaches in for a big hug and it feels so good. And while you're in that moment of that embrace, you can feel her almost as if you are her for a minute. Feel that in your body. What it feels like to be her, to live as her. Does it feel freeing, does it feel wonderful? What does it feel like to really be her? What does she look like? How does she speak? Who is she? What does she get excited about? What does she look forward to. Where are her passions? What are her daily practices?

Speaker 2:

And you ask her what did you have to give up to be this free? What did you have to give up to be this free? Did you have to get uncomfortable? Did you have to change a lot? What does your environment look like now? Did you have to release any relationships that no longer served you? Did you have to change any habits? How do you deal with conflict now? What did you have to start focusing on in order to become this version?

Speaker 2:

You know that this time with this highest version of yourself is very limited and it will be coming to an end soon. You've gained so much wisdom from her, not to mention that you now know that it's possible to become her and that she's already inside of you. So you just ask her one more thing what do I need to focus on right this minute so that I can get back into my journey? She reminds you, the most important thing is just to remember to love yourself. To love yourself so truly that nobody can take that away from you. And she gives you another big hug before she has to leave and she whispers something into your ear. It's so quick you can barely catch it. But once you hear those words, you know you'll remember them for the rest of your life. I want you to repeat that to yourself. What she just told you. Let that be something you never forget.

Speaker 2:

And as she starts to walk away, fading off into the distance, you know you don't even have to be sad. You love her so much and that feeling is so beautiful and you know that you'll miss this moment. But it doesn't feel sad because you know that she's inside you, she's part of you and you are her. You already are that version of yourself. It's just waiting to come through. You have that version of yourself deep inside. You start to walk back the way you came, following that little trail of water, and you sit back down for a minute and just contemplate on what just happened, letting all of that sink in everything she just told you. And you remember once again that literally that version of yourself is deep inside, at the core, just waiting to be uncovered.

Speaker 2:

And as the sunlight starts to fade, wiggle your toes, shake out those fingers, start to come back into the room, flutter your eyes a little and if you have a journal nearby, I highly suggest writing down some of the things that she said to you, because sometimes we block the subconscious. What comes through for us, the things that our mind and our body is trying to tell us that we maybe need to let go of or need to change. Sometimes we really just need to hear it in a different way and it's easy to get back into the hustle and bustle of life and forget everything that we just learned about ourselves.

Speaker 2:

You can also write down what she looked like, what it felt like to be this amazing human, what it felt like to be in her presence, how it felt to be around that love, unconditional love from yourself.

Speaker 2:

And if you remember what she whispered in your ear, that would be the best way to end this little note. And when you are off this call, if this is a physical note that you wrote down, I would hide it somewhere that you can always remember where it is and come back to this, because so often we're having a bad day or we feel really down on ourselves or feel like we're never going to make it through this path and this journey of healing, and I think that so often we forget that we already are that human, we already are that version of ourselves inside, but all these layers just come through to start giving too much space in between that version and this other version and we forget. So just remembering that you are that person and thank you for your time, just make sure you stay Hydrated, get some rest, all of those things, and just remember in your dreams this evening you may have another epiphany or you may dream about that version of yourself, and all of that's normal and very beautiful.

But I'm just so grateful for you and you being here and you listening and you being a part of this journey. It's wild to think this is episode 101 and that we have been doing this.

I have been showing up and doing this for a year and I'm happy when you're listening to this and I am reflecting with so much gratitude for 2023 and everything that has happened, and I am looking forward to 2024 and even though I know to not even try to predict what's going to happen in this next adventure around the sun, but I know that it's going to be exactly what I needed to be and I'm so expectant of just the momentum that we have 2023 going us over into 2024 and it being everything that you needed to be, it being everything that I needed to be that our next year whenever you're listening to this, it doesn't have to be the new year, but whenever you're listening to this, the next year of your life has already been perfectly planned out for you All the obstacles, all the good times, all the low moments, all the hurt, the heartache.

It's all been orchestrated for you and for a good that surpasses your understanding, because I know we experience things sometimes that we can't possibly understand in the moment. How it's for our good. But I'm so excited to get to go on this journey with you and I'm so thankful for you allowing me to be a part of your life in this way. So for myself recording this for the last time in 2023, not the last time I'll be saying this to you, but I want you to remember that you are worthy, you have value, you get to take up space in this world simply because you exist. Don't let anyone, including yourself, convince you otherwise, and if that idea or vision for your life is in you, it is for you. I'm rooting for you and I can't wait to talk to you soon.
