Having always dreamt of having a kid, Dr. Brown made the decision to undergo Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) using a sperm donor. She shares her candid experiences, from the nervous excitement of the journey to the isolation and judgment she felt specifically in the Black community. More About our Guest Speaker


Dr. Ambra Brown is a proud Black American woman who holds a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. After spending 16 years as a dedicated Physical Therapist, she became a certified Health Coach specializing in preconception and pregnancy in 2021. 


As a Single Mother by Choice (SMBC) who underwent IUI at the age of 34 and gave birth to her son just one month after turning 35, Dr. Brown is passionate about supporting and guiding others on their fertility journeys. She struggled while trying to conceive as an SMBC and in choosing a donor with minimal family support. This challenging and often lonely process led her to shift her focus to becoming a health coach specializing in preconception and pregnancy.
