Jimmy Patch is an industry leader within the arts business sector in Brisbane. He is the creative director of one of Australia's rising creative agencies and he has worked with the likes of Hamish and Andy, GoMA, QAG and the Queensland Government to name a few. Since a young age, Jimmy has always been a creative person, you'd catch him scribbling illustration in books at school or learning a new instrument, and his journey to where he is now is incredible. We talk about what it was like to be creative and to make space for that creativity, how starting his agency has shaped how he interacts with clients and what his first big client job felt like, what it's like having employees and a lot more!

Jimmy is an internationally renowned and industry-leading illustrator creating unique artwork for a wide range of projects and clients. With more than 10 years of industry experience, Jimmy has travelled the world working with a range of organisations and being featured in publications and exhibitions from the UAE to the USA. Jimmy continually finds new ways to tell engaging visual stories through illustration, animation, graphic recording and installations. He finds passion in seeing the end product come to life in both his solo creative practice and in collaboration with like-minded and talented creatives. His award winning work is driven by bright colours, bold designs and complex detail that is unique and imaginative.
