Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Diz Love Podcast with Vanessa and Chris. I'm Vanessa Ferguson.

Speaker 2:

And I'm Chris Johns.

Speaker 1:

I would like to welcome you to show number 148. And for any listeners joining us for the first time, our show features things we love at Disney and in each episode we have a guest who creates Disney magic for our listeners at home or on their Disney vacations. From vacation planners to product producers, our guests can bring Disney magic into your life. And as a reminder to our listeners, we appreciate if you can take time to leave us a review on Apple Podcasts or any other platform where you listen. That helps new listeners find us and, of course, helps the show grow. And we love to give shout outs to individuals on future episodes. And thank you to all of you who've already left reviews and ratings. We really appreciate those. And before we get started with the main part of our show, Chris, our friends Eric and Alexa have a message.

Speaker 2:

They want to take care of your baby Not literally, but they want to make sure that your baby is riding in style, staying in a brand new pack and play or anything parents need to enjoy Disney. One of the worst things if you're traveling with young children is having to lug around all the things that young children need. The great thing about BabyQuip that Eric and Alexa provide is that they're going to give you an excellent experience and provide brand new equipment that is ideal for a trip to Disney. We recently rented a stroller for our daughter, karis. It was a top-notch stroller, brand new, easy to maneuver in the park, one of those things where, if you had to get into the corral where there's all those other strollers, it moved around perfectly and it was really awesome. Karis enjoyed it and it also had a lot of space for us to carry all of the things that Vanessa bought in the park.

Speaker 2:

So again and this is the message that Eric and Alexa want us to share is your BabyQuip independent quality provider. They will provide you with excellent customer service by providing clean and useful equipment to make your vacation easy. Want something that they don't have on their website? Ask them and they'll do best to accommodate you. We've used them for several rentals and what I love is that they have awesome staff that drop it off to the resort on time with a smile on their face. The staff is them, but then I also. What's also wonderful is that when they come to pick it up, they also have a smile on their face, because, for you, what I love about disney is going to disney and at the end of a busy trip is going home from disney, and they make it awesome. So again, baby quip and reach out to Eric and Alexa and they'll take care of you.

Speaker 1:

And I will have the link to their website in the show notes so you can definitely check that out. And on today's show we're going to be joined by Claire from Clarified by Claire, her shop features soaps that are really for people who enjoy a variety of fandoms, and we got a chance to meet Claire and her dad and not only smell and look at her display but also bring home some of her amazing soaps when we met her at the House of Mouse Expo. So we are super excited for that and Chris Claire has a message for our listeners as well.

Speaker 2:

She does. She wants you to use the code DISLOVE to save 10% off your next order. And what was awesome is that we not only met Claire, but I purchased two bars of soap both Star Wars themed for a friend who really is big into Disney and also is an awesome Star Wars fan. And what Claire has, she has something that you want. Number one the soap smell awesome and there's catered to so many different fandoms that there's going to be something for somebody that you love.

Speaker 1:

Yes. So I will make sure to put the link to, or I will make sure to put the code in the show notes so you can save that 10%. Now, before we hear from Claire and all about her business, we are going to talk about the best date night ideas at Walt Disney World. Now I will say there's a couple of caveats to this. I kind of left out regular dining because I think we've done different shows for some of those good special occasion dining experiences, which I'll put the link in the show notes to those past episodes. But I thought we would just do some things that are beyond dining. Now, some of these do include food, but the experience, the focus is not on food, and some of these are things that are additional costs. Others are things that are just part of your like park experience as well. So I'm going to start with one that I think is fun, and we've not we've only.

Speaker 1:

We actually did this as a date night once for an anniversary, but we've also done it with friends and family. So it doesn't just have to be a date night, but the fireworks dessert parties at Magic Kingdom. You get to get a great location for viewing of the nighttime show and you get some great desserts as well. It is over in the Tomorrowland Terrace, so you have seating and they have options if you want to do before fireworks, after fireworks, different types of seating, and we did it once for our anniversary and I think that is a great night out. It's a nice night, nice way to cap a day at the Magic Kingdom. It's also a great night if you just want to go over to the park to enjoy that. I really enjoyed the fireworks dessert parties all the times we've attended those. How about you, Chris?

Speaker 2:

Oh, definitely, and what I really love about it is that it combines awesome food as well as a special experience.

Speaker 1:

And you don't have to sit waiting hours for a good spot for the fireworks.

Speaker 2:

Correct, and I think that's the one thing. And the one thing I'll never forget from the 50th anniversary was there was a person who had camped out in front of the castle. They were legitimately there 12 hours and now they had a prime seat, but they didn't move. I believe probably the entire, with the exception of maybe a brief spell. I had saw them in that same position the entire day.

Speaker 1:

Yes, so go to the dessert party. Spell. I had saw them in that same position the entire day. Yes, so go to the dessert party. You don't have to do that.

Speaker 1:

Now, another thing that you can do, and this is one that is at a resort and this one is something that I've never done this particular experience I've done some other experience related but if you're really into nature and something that maybe is outside the parks, they have a really cool moonlight safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and we stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge again on a recent trip and it's always nice to be able to just see the animals. But this is a nighttime safari. They take you out through the savannas that are adjacent to the lodge and you really get a chance to. They have like night vision goggles so you get a chance to see the animals. They will take you out. It's about it's a tour that they'll take you out into the actual savanna area. They say on average, at this time of night you see at least 20 different animals like 20 different species. They give you night vision devices so you can look at them. It's a really cool thing and it gives you a chance to see some of those animals that you wouldn't see during the day on the regular safari and it's really just a nice, nice personal event.

Speaker 1:

This one is, I believe, they usually have two times for it. It depends on the time of year and the cost ranges of course varies, but it's around $75. And we're recording this in May of 2024. And that's kind of been the average price. So if you love animals and you want something away from the hustle and bustle of the parks, the Moonlight Safari is really cool. Another type of like guided thing that you can do is any of the guided tours at the parks. We've done a lot of different ones and we've talked about some of them in past shows. We've done real basic ones like Keys to the Kingdom. I've done like Caring for the Giants, which is the elephant one at Animal Kingdom. We've also done some of the all day ones. But I really think that guided tours are a nice way to give yourself a unique experience that you don't normally get when you're on a trip.

Speaker 2:

Well, and I think the great thing about that is that there's so many things that you see at Disney and for us you know, I would put us in the veteran park attenders there's always something new you want to do, because, to a certain point, there's certain rides that, unless it's brand new, or unless it's something that you really want to do, you're just going to walk past it.

Speaker 1:

these tours are awesome because it's going to give you a brand new experience that you wouldn't otherwise get yeah, and so much detail that goes into the parks that you would, I think, going back to our friends where we had a couple shows back. I'll put the link with their scavenger hunts. It's really a way to look at the park in a new way and with these guides they really help you do that and they have ones that are short, a few hours long, to ones that are all day. So taking a guided tour and I guess we said date night some of these are daytime ones, so we're going to give ourselves some leeway on that.

Speaker 1:

Another thing that you can do, especially, I think, in your day-to-day life people don't often take time to pamper themselves and a lot of people don't know that there are spas at Disney and there's one at the Grand Floridian. There's one over at Swan and Dolphin. On one of our anniversaries we went and we had some treatments done over at Swan and Dolphin went and we had some treatments done over at Swan and Dolphin and it's a nice way to get a spa treatment over, like at Senses Spa that's the one over at Swan and Dolphin. You can get all kinds of treatments, from couples massages to facials to lots of different things. It's a good relaxing experience and I know we enjoyed going to the spa on our one anniversary when we were there.

Speaker 2:

It was wonderful.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and I think that gives you a time to slow down in your vacation, when it can be quite stressful sometimes and jam-packed. So it gives you a chance to maybe you're celebrating a special occasion like an anniversary or something. You can do that. Another thing that is fun with a group or actually I've only done this with a group, but I do think it's a great date night idea is to take a fireworks cruise. They have one on the Seven Seas Lagoon where you can watch, of course, the fireworks in Magic Kingdom, or you can take one in Crescent Lake to be able to see the luminous show. So the fireworks cruises are nice because you can actually you could do a double date on a fireworks cruise. That would be something that would be great.

Speaker 1:

So with the fireworks cruise, they have a pontoon boat that leaves from the different docks and they will decorate it if you're having a birthday or something like that. But they also stock it with snacks, so pop and some different like chips and cookies, that sort of thing, which is super nice. And the fireworks cruise, again, it gives you a really a front row seat for those shows. It's a nice little boat ride and I don't know, we grew, we're from Michigan, so we're on the water a lot, even though we're not even water people, but it's still a nice thing to do that. I think a lot of people, depending on where you live, you might not have a chance to go out on a boat and then to have fireworks. I've really enjoyed the. I think I've done three fireworks cruises so far and I've really enjoyed them all.

Speaker 2:

Vanessa loves fireworks. I do, no matter where it could just be.

Speaker 1:

It doesn't even have to be Disney, I mean.

Speaker 2:

I've seen kids lighting fireworks on the side of the road during Fourth of July. She'll stop and look at those.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I do like fireworks, so the fireworks cruise. But you enjoyed the cruise, didn't you? When we've done the cruise, Definitely.

Speaker 1:

Be forewarned, though. We went one time for my aunt's birthday in January and it was freezing on the water, so be mindful of that. It is at night, you're on the water. It can get chilly. Another thing that this one goes into the parks and this is something that is air quotes free, because assuming that you already have admission to the park is just taking a stroll around the World Showcase at Epcot, and we did this on our anniversary On March 3rd. We were at Epcot and that's where we were married. We walked around, we took photos. We did have. That's where we were married. We walked around, we took photos. We did have a dinner reservation in Canada, but we walked around and just kind of experienced the ambiance before we went to dinner, and I really enjoyed that.

Speaker 2:

Yes, the ambiance was wonderful.

Speaker 1:

And at night you can just get some fun pictures, and I mean, obviously you're strolling from Paris to. You can be in Japan, morocco, germany, all these great places you can. If you like to drink, you can get a drink, you can have a snack, just go into some of the shops. Of course, in the evening most of the shows are not going to be happening and the entertainers aren't going to be out, but just having that chance to stroll and relax and kind of enjoy the experience, and the World Showcase is a great place to do that when you're with your special someone. Now you can also move over to Disney Springs. They're, of course, classic having a dinner out, but they also you can pair that with a show. So at House of Blues they have a lot of concerts that happen. You can go to the theater and watch a movie and also see Drawn to Life, the Cirque du Soleil show. That is a great show as well.

Speaker 1:

So again, like just a traditional date night, but at Disney, and it has a little bit extra Disney magic, something fun that we have done with our friends. I guess it would kind of be considered a double a traditional date night, but at Disney, and it has a little bit extra Disney magic. Something fun that we have done with our friends I guess it would kind of be considered a double date is going to play miniature golf. Now we did that with our friends Shane and Charlie and it's a great way. There's a miniature golf course that is over by the Swan and Dolphin and the Swan Reserve and it is a lot of fun. We actually have passes to go back and play again for free, which, if they're listening, we need to do that one trip soon.

Speaker 1:

The so Miniature Golf is really themed after. It's themed after Fantasia and so there's all kinds of cute things for each of the holes. And we got there a little bit late so we didn't get to finish the holes. That's why we got a pass to come back. But they also have a more challenging course. So this is fun to do with more than one couple. To do with just one couple, it is a little bit more difficult to get there, I would say, if you're by on foot. I typically we've had a rental car, we've done it, but you could take a lift or a minivan and it's a lot of fun to do. It's just something different and, again, a little bit more slow change of pace compared to what you'd be doing at the parks. So that's something to consider as well. And when you move over to some of the parks, again thinking about specifically we've done the after hours events at several of the parks and I would consider those date nights.

Speaker 2:

Definitely.

Speaker 1:

Now, if you have little ones, or maybe if you're traveling with a group, not everybody's going to want to stay out late. So if you have younger ones, you can look at some of our great babysitting services that we've had on the show. But the after hours experiences are nice because we've done them at Magic Kingdom, we've done them at Animal Kingdom and it's a great chance to do a lot of rides. You can walk around, it's a little bit more well, it is more peaceful, it's less chaotic, you get a chance. They have snacks included, you get ice cream and popcorn and all that sort of thing. So that's kind of a nice experience as well. And they'll often have some character meet and greets throughout the park too.

Speaker 1:

So after hours those do cost. Those are an additional cost. This is different than like the DVC event we've talked about in the past. This is one where you would have a cost if you are an annual pass holder or Disney Vacation Club. There usually are discounts for it and I remember that.

Speaker 1:

Okay, this is going to be a sidetrack, but we were at an after hours Animal Kingdom event the night that they Disney announced they were closing the parks for COVID and I remember us walking around. There was hardly anybody there and it was just the two of us. My parents had taken our daughter back to the resort, so it was a date night and just thinking about like it was so uncertain but we had the most amazing night at Animal Kingdom, despite everything else that was going on in the world. So, again, those after hours events are a lot of fun to check out and there's a lot more that you can do at the resorts as well. Looking over at Port Orleans Riverside as well as at Fort Wilderness, they have carriage rides. We did one at Port Orleans for another anniversary. Do you remember doing the carriage ride?

Speaker 2:

No.

Speaker 1:

Well, I will get the pictures and I will post the pictures in one of my posts. But you can do a carriage ride. They're 25-minute carriage rides and these actually have space. They have two different size carriages and the large ones actually hold four adults. Or, if you have your little ones with you, they do hold two adults and several kids. You can make reservations for these, and that is recommended because especially on the weekends and that that can fill up. So doing the carriage ride is nice and these typically run from 5. To 930 pm and they can be reserved up to 60 days in advance. So that is a fun place to go as well. And then you can also look at Disney Springs.

Speaker 1:

We've not done this, which it is kind of on my Disney bucket list the hot air balloon ride. It's the tethered ride that goes up and you can see all the great views of Disney Springs. I've heard it's super cool. I've not heard anyone who's done it that said they regretted it, and I think if you had a nice dinner at Disney Springs and then topped it off with a hot air balloon ride granted you are tethered, but I am sure the views are amazing and I would love to do that. Would you do that hot air balloon Easily? Yes, granted, you are tethered, but I am sure the views are amazing and I would love to do that. Would you do that hot air balloon?

Speaker 2:

Easily.

Speaker 1:

Yes, so definitely, and if you've done it, please let us know. I think it would be fun to know. Now, last but not least, and again, there's actually so many more different things, but a couple of the things that I just want. One more that I would like to highlight is the over at Boardwalk area that you have a couple of different things. You have Jelly Rolls, which has a dueling piano and like sing-along show. We looked at it when we were on a recent trip. It usually runs around $20 or so, but again, it's a great night of entertainment. You can have fun and dance and all of that. We also went over. Right adjacent to Jelly Rolls is Atlantic Dance Hall and as long as there's not a special event going on, they'll have it open. They have a bar that you can purchase drinks at and the dance floor is open. There's no cover charge. We were there probably about 45 minutes or so in dance. We had a good time.

Speaker 2:

We had a wonderful time. You should have saw Vanessa on the dance floor.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so there weren't very many people on the dance floor, but we were out there and we had a great time and, again, that was no cost. And then Jelly Rolls had a slight cover, but really not that much for what you're experiencing. So if you've had a day at the parks, you want to have a couple hours out at the boardwalk. That's also a great thing. If you have little ones with you and you do one of the babysitting destination sitters, or have a friend with you or somebody that can watch your little ones, that's a great way to go out and enjoy the night as well. So, all in all, there really are so many different options for date nights. We've just kind of scratched the surface. Really. There's lots of different options of what you can look at, and I think everyone can really make something that's their own. These weren't even things related to dinners, but there's so many dining experiences that you can do as well. There's some of the classes that we have talked about on previous shows, so I'll link some of the different shows that could also be things that you use for a date night and I will make sure to put those in the show notes. So hopefully some of you have gotten a chance to experience these fun dates, and they don't have to be a dates with a significant other. It can just be a friend date. It could be a nice night out with a close friend or a family member, just enjoying something different and a new experience at Disney. So give us just a minute and we're going to get our call up with Claire.

Speaker 1:

I'd like to welcome Claire to the show. Her shop, clarified by Claire, offers all kinds of really neat soaps that are based on different fandoms, from Disney to Marvel to Avatar, and we'll hear all about that in a few minutes. We actually got a chance to meet her and her dad at the House of Mouse Expo, so we're really excited to be able to share her product with you. She is a student at the University of Tampa, where she studies sport management, and she has a minor in Spanish and business administration, and I love their slogan about their business is our slogan is making the world cleaner one geek at a time, and that is really true. We really loved all of the products that we got when we met her and we'd like to welcome Claire to the show. Hi, now, of course, we always start off with an icebreaker, and lately we've been asking people what is your favorite event at any Disney park?

Speaker 3:

My favorite event, I would say, is the Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party. Yeah, I grew up going to Disney before I even lived in Florida and we've done the Halloween party and the Christmas party and I just love the vibes and the feeling of the Halloween party so much.

Speaker 1:

Now do you dress up for the Halloween party.

Speaker 3:

I haven't before, but if I get a chance to go again, I plan on it.

Speaker 2:

What would you dress up as?

Speaker 3:

Probably something related to the Haunted Mansion, because that is my favorite ride at Disney and it just goes perfectly with the theme.

Speaker 1:

Oh, yes, and you've got to watch the parade then with your outfit on. Yes, now we'd like to hear all about your business and the products you offer connected to Disney.

Speaker 3:

So I started my business in the summer of 2020, during the whole pandemic shutdown, and it was the summer going into my senior year of high school, so I was kind of sitting around the house bored, trying to find something to do, and one night I asked my dad hey, do you have any soap making supplies left? Because he used to make soap when I was real little. And it turns out he had a tote left in storage. So the next day we took it out and he started teaching me how to make soap. And after I learned the process I was like I want to make Disney-themed products. So we started with a Dole Whip, pirates of the Caribbean, castaway Cay, the Grand Floridian Lobby and just classic Disney scents. And three years later it has just grown into this huge business.

Speaker 2:

Now, with that you mentioned about what was that inspiration, Because you said your dad made soap in the past. But what was that inspiration for you to decide to pick up the soap making supplies?

Speaker 3:

I've always loved scented products, whether it's like candles, soaps, lotions, anything like that oils, soaps, lotions, anything like that. So we didn't have candle making products, but we had the soap making supplies. So I decided to give that a shot.

Speaker 1:

Now, how did you go from making the soap to creating the actual business?

Speaker 3:

Well, my dad also runs a business, coincidentally, so he has that background and my business is also like a subsidy of his. So we work out of the same warehouse and everything and his is woodworking parts supplies, so it's very different from soap. But kind of under his umbrella he was able to kind of show me the ropes. I started out on Etsy, so Etsy kind of does a lot of the work for you behind the scenes, and in the past couple of years we've switched to our website and we're not on Etsy anymore. So now it's kind of grown into its full own business.

Speaker 1:

Now you told us the story about how the name came about. But I have to add just as a side note before you tell us the story my middle name is Claire, my daughter's middle name is Claire, my mom, my grandpa, so that originally brought us to your table, but we fell in love with your products too. But tell us the story about the name of your business.

Speaker 3:

So before I started the business, I would always say that I would clarify things and kind of make it my own and kind of do my own spin on whatever I was doing. And so now these products are like my own, like clarified versions of, like simple soap that you make into a whole fandom inspired theme.

Speaker 1:

Now that ties into our next question, where we always like to ask how do you think your products add Disney magic to your customers lives?

Speaker 3:

It adds a sort of Disney magic to like every part of your life, or like a part of your life that typically would be ordinary, like your hand soap or your soap in the shower. But now, if you have, like our Dole Whip inspired scent, now you take a shower and you're reminded of the scent of the Dole Whip and it like brings you back to the park. So you kind of have a little bit of Disney with you all the time.

Speaker 1:

And I know, like one of the ones we purchased was the Grand Floridian, because that's our home DVC resort and it does. It takes you right back there, that's for sure. Now, what is your favorite scent, because I know you have so many different ones, and maybe tell about some of the variety you have, as well as sharing your favorite?

Speaker 3:

Yes, we do have quite a variety. There's about 200 different soaps. I would say, wow, across a variety. There's about 200 different soaps. I would say across a variety of fandoms. I have about four shelves in my studio full of different fragrance bottles, so it's very hard to narrow it down. But the Pineapple Whip, our Dole Whip inspired scent, has always been one that I've loved, because I also love Dole Whip Me too. That one has just always been a classic go-to scent for me. No-transcript, 10 out of 10. Can never go wrong with those tropical and fruity scents. But a lot of our soaps are also like perfume and cologne dupes, like from popular, like designers and fragrances. So with our like Star Wars and Marvel lines, a lot of those are the dupes. And the Scarlet Witch-inspired soap is a dupepe of Aqua Di Gio women's perfume, and so I love the soap and I also use the same perfume. So it kind of goes hand in hand.

Speaker 2:

That's awesome. Now in regards to what tell us more about, because we talked a lot about this at the House of Mouse Expo, but how do you get inspiration to come up with a scent?

Speaker 3:

Some of them are quite literal, like the Pineapple Whip, the Floridian Villa. Those are very exact to their inspiration. But some of them that are more character-based are definitely more trying to get the vibe of the character. If this character were real, what kind of aura would they give off, like for our Disney princesses? Our Moana-inspired soap is a very Polynesian tropical scent that kind of brings you to her island, tropical sense, that kind of brings you to her island. So it's kind of it's a case-by-case basis but most of the time is kind of just taking in that character or place or thing and trying to come up with the vibe of them so do you just get on disney plus and pick out a new genre and then come out with some ideas?

Speaker 3:

it usually goes with what I'm into at the time, like if a new show comes out, a new movie, a new trend, then I kind of lean towards those and it's kind of whatever I'm into at the time.

Speaker 1:

I'll add more soaps based on that now, do you keep a product in like in your line or are some like limited edition?

Speaker 3:

we usually don't come out with them with the purpose of making them limited edition. But sometimes a scent or character just isn't popular or isn't as popular as we expected. So then we kind of slowly either put it on sale or just wean it out of inventory and then just doesn't come back. But we release everything with the intention for it to be permanent.

Speaker 2:

You mentioned all these awesome products you make. Where can people go online to find out more of what you make?

Speaker 3:

To purchase any of the soap, or look at the options we have. We have our website, clarifiedbyclaircom. Or, if you want to see more behind the scenes, look at how we come up with everything. We're on TikTok and Instagram at clarifiedbyclair.

Speaker 1:

Now, if I were to place an order, what is the turnaround time? Because I know sometimes if people want it for a gift or something like that. How soon should they order?

Speaker 3:

We will usually ship out within one to two days of the order being placed. It just depends if it's on the weekend, it might be two days, but if it's during the week, it'll be mostly within 24 hours. We will ship it out, and then it just depends on where you live what the typical shipping time would be like three days, four days, but even though I'm away at school, my dad will do all the shipping and order fulfillments for me back home.

Speaker 2:

That's awesome. Now, for a person like myself who has trouble with the details, where I know Vanessa's one favorite perfume and it's my go-to, would you be helpful if I said I want a smell that is orangey or smells this is the kind of theme I want to go for. Would you help people pick out that scent?

Speaker 3:

yes, definitely. We will either get like instagram messages or emails, or people will come up to us at events and conventions looking for a particular scent, so then we will guide them in the direction of this soap has that scent, or we don't have that exact scent, but this one's really similar, so we're very used to doing that.

Speaker 1:

Perfect, and we will make sure to put like the links to your Instagram and your website and everything in the show notes. That way, people can check out and order your products, but also see where you might be going next, because it is great to be able to. It was nice to see your whole display with all of the soap. So thank you so much for joining us today. Thank you for having me.

Speaker 2:

Thank you again to Claire for joining us today and remember, use the code DISLOVE to save 10% off your next order.

Speaker 1:

And I will make sure to put that in the show notes. And now we are on to our two minute trivia and our wisdom from Walt, quote and Chris, you are up with trivia.

Speaker 2:

We talked about date nights, and for us, we had our first date night that eventually turned into an engagement and then a wedding at Disney yes so there's a famous politician, and again we're this. We're taping this in May of 2024. This person has been on the ballot either a Republican or Democratic presidential ballot but this person was married at Disney.

Speaker 1:

Wow, that's in the president, not like vice president.

Speaker 2:

This person ran for president. It is not Joe and it's not Don. I'll give you a hint, not those two. But there were people who ran for the Democratic side and there's also people who ran for the Republican ticket, but this person was married at Disney.

Speaker 1:

Is it this election?

Speaker 2:

It was.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so Kennedy.

Speaker 2:

No, I'll give you one more guess, and you're going to kick yourself when you hear this.

Speaker 1:

I'm sure I'm going to kick myself, so just tell me.

Speaker 2:

Ron DeSantis.

Speaker 1:

Oh wow, yeah, that makes sense. Yeah For Florida.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and his wife Casey were married at the Walt Disney World Resort in 2009 in the Wedding Chapel.

Speaker 1:

Wow, wedding Pavilion, wedding pavilion.

Speaker 2:

Wedding pavilion. Well, it says chapel here too. But what's also interesting is that Ron flipped the script and he he's gone after Disney.

Speaker 1:

He's gone after Disney.

Speaker 2:

So he was married to Disney and he also has gone after Disney. Isn't that interesting?

Speaker 1:

And I'd like to note that our Disney fairytale wedding was a year before theirs, because you said 2009,. Correct, correct.

Speaker 2:

Okay, and then I'll give you another. Here's one more. This famous female singer renewed her vows to a famous male entertainer in 2013. They are no longer married.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm terrible with famous. Well, this is hard.

Speaker 2:

I'll just tell you, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon.

Speaker 1:

Wow, yes, very interesting. Well, you never know what you're going to learn. Now, this is not about our topic, about day nights, but I thought when we had talked to Claire and learned her story about how she had learned to make soaps and how she got into it during COVID, it really made me think about this. I thought this quote was perfect because it really showcases about her endeavor to start her business and it's just simply. Ideas come from curiosity and I think that is so true for so many of the great small shops we've had on here, but also, hopefully, for all of you in some of the things, whether it be planning your trips or looking and exploring new things in your own life Hopefully you can use that curiosity to generate some amazing ideas. So thank you so much for joining us on this episode of the Dislove podcast with Vanessa and Chris. I'm Vanessa and I'm Chris. So much for joining us on this episode of the dis love podcast with vanessa and chris.

Speaker 2:
