Welcome, welcome, welcome to a week two preview edition girl, the inaugural Minnesota, Minnesota preview episode. Yeah, so we're going to do a little small little episode, 20 minute episode or so just talk about week two games and what we like in a couple of games and any parlays and all that jazz. So let's get into it. The Pied Pony Podcast. Persian, man, I had a good fantasy weekend. I don't know about you out of my four leagues. I won three of the matches. Unfortunately, I lost my matchup to you in hourly because I stupidly, stupidly did not start any other wide receiver than Mike Williams. And the jets did so bad that Brees Hall did not get a lot of yards. Cause the jets are fucking terrible. Yeah. So that was unfortunate for me, but I did clean up in our DFS league. I did get in second place. So I won 17 bucks instead of losing 10. Thanks to a Jerome Ford last minute garbage time touchdown. Yeah. When they were down 25 points or something. Right. I was just like, I was like, Oh my God, I cannot believe that actually happened. It was the best. And then, yeah. And in a parlay play, I had a couple of parlays that you know, 10, one 35 Kirk cousins, Keon Coleman, B. John Robinson. I had a parlay with them and then Debo Samuel and Breeze Hall. I had a little receiving yards and touchdown with them. So, yeah, I had some pretty good luck on pickums as well. I had a, a 10 X that hit for me on pick six and I, and I actually had a second 10 X that was going to hit for me on pick six, but then Patrick Mahomes throws an interception. I was just like, are you kidding me? It was like the bet that I actually felt the most confident of was. Plus or minus 0. 5 interceptions. And I was just like, most games, he doesn't throw an interception. Obviously this is going to hit. And then that was the one that got in the way from hitting that second. That second 10 X. But I did have a couple of them hit on prize pigs. I think I had a total of four. And, and two of them hit. So that's great. You got 10 X on both of those. So came out with a lot of profit in the picking in the pickums. Did not do so well on my DFS stuff though, with my lineups in draft Kings. I had I think 12 different darts tournament darts for these 1 tournaments. All of them did not cash a single thing. And then of course, in our, in our DK fantasy league. I was, I think dead last or close to last place in that my team was very bad. I had some just really, I had like crystal law. They get too bad. You were second to last with 87, a whopping 87 points. And I tell you, 87 points is one of the worst showings I've ever had. I usually, I don't necessarily win, but I'm usually at least. Well, that's what happens when you start a guy like Iso Lavis, whatever the hell his name is, like, what the fuck are you thinking? Wait, who? The Cincinnati dude, I Iso Sivas. Oh, Yoshi, yeah, Yoshivas. Yeah, Yoshi. Yeah. Yeah, solid five points for me. No, that was a great play, okay, that was a great play. Listen, Cincinnati Bagels, Joe Burrow, T Higgins is out. Jamar chase is limited snaps because he just got back to practicing or whatever's going on with him. This guy is, is definitely second in line behind Jamar chase in that offense. He, he already won the third receiving job that he paid. Nah, that was a great play for 3, 000. 3, 000 that's so cheap. Well, yeah. Well, you yep. You want I got I got what I paid for Anyway, let's hit a week to week to one of the games that I'm interested in Is bills dolphins just because interdivision rivalry always playing each other in the playoffs of course, it's in miami. So I fully expect miami to win this game. They are All the spread moved to two and a half. It was one and a half earlier So miami's given up two and a half with a 48 and a half over under yeah, I mean this should be You know a shoot them, a shoot them out match. I, I expect this to go over. Yeah. I like the props that I am loving on this. They're early props that I really like on this. Cause, and I've already taken one of them. I've already placed a bet already. A chain one, any one touchdown anytime. That's all he needs. Jalen Waddle, more than 59 and a half yards and Dalton Kincaid one, anytime touchdown. So yeah, those are on parlay play right now. Which is, which is where I'm hanging out at. So that's what I got. The a chain one, anytime touchdown. I've also Diggs, which. We'll get, we'll get into. Yeah. The only thing about the A chain is that it, he actually has a little bit of injury concern. Like he's, he didn't practice the first couple of days of the week now. So we need to monitor him and make sure that he's actually going to be playing. But yeah, I, I like most of those picks. I, I imagine you're getting plus money on the Kincaid. You're getting some sort of booster with that, but. I definitely like the sort of snap shares that we saw from Kincaid and Keon Coleman. It looks like those are the two pieces that are going to stay on the field for the bills at all times. Whereas with Shakir, Samuel, Knox, they're all going to get rotated in and out. So I like, I like those, those, those guys. I really liked the over, I think 48 is just low for a game where looked at that Bill's defense was Was given up a lot of points to, or, or at least given up a lot of yardage to the Cardinals in week one and the Miami Dolphins defense did not look great. The only thing that saved them was the, the Jaguars fumbling that ETN fumble was, was really bad. But really the, the, the Dolphins defense did not look great. And so I just feel like with, with. Josh Allen to these, you know, pretty good offenses here. I just, I really liked the over that's my favorite bed. Absolutely. Absolutely. Oh, so you got the dolphins winning or the bills? Yeah, I got the dolphins winning. I think it's close, but I J I'm just going to roll with the home team for this. Cause. They're kind of an even sort of thing. Okay. Next game that I'm looking at is Buccaneers versus the lions. You know, see if the lines can continue how they're going and going up a pretty good, pretty good offense. Baker Mayfield looked good in the first, first week. Baker Mayfield. How about Baker Mayfield? Yeah, how about that guy? Lions are seven point favorite at home. 50. 5 points over under, which has moved to 51. 5. I am liking David Montgomery to get over 60. 5 rushing yards, and I'm also liking Rashad White to get over 44. 5 rushing yards. I feel like that's really low for him. So yeah, I think this could also, the lions defense could come to play, which, which could be the problem for the Buccaneers. So I like the lines in this, but this could also be a shootout as well because Mike Evans is just, he's just nasty. He's a beast and he never gets old. He's still fat. No, he's still so fast and so big. Like it's hard to deal with. Yeah, that's it. I, I liked the over on this one too. My favorite bit is that Rashad white. Rushing total, the revamped offensive line looked really good week one. They were opening up really big running holes. Not only did Rashad White have a lot of running room, but Bucky Irving did too. Bucky Irving actually had a really long run, which made him Made his stats look perhaps better than they really were. He didn't actually eat into Rashad White's snap share that much, but because he had more rushing yardage, I think that's probably why the Rashad White rushing total is depressed. I think people are thinking this is more of a time share than it's really going to be. That being said, I just think both of these offenses are. Really good. I think that this Buccaneers offense is probably underrated at this point. Canalis. Leaving kind of left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths thinking, ah, I think he was kind of the stir, the straw that stirred the drink or whatever, but week one Baker Mayfield comes out and has himself a game. He was the highest rated PFF quarterback on week one. I mean, and when watching the plays, he looked good. He looked good. Very, very decisive, very quick, elusive in the pocket. I mean, have yourself a game Baker Mayfield. So I, I really liked both of those. Do you like the Lions? Yeah, I do like the Lions. I like the Lions by two and a half, three, I think is a good, good number there. All right next game looking at Colts versus Packers. Jordan Love out on injury. So Indianapolis comes in with the three and a half point favorite. Wild card. Four, 40 and a half is the over under man. I just really don't know what to think about. I am not, I'm not excited about Malik Willis at all. I'm hoping the defense can do enough to, to get us the win here. I'm expecting, I don't know what Josh Jacobs prop bets are yet. Cause they're not out, but I would imagine the over is going to be a real nice one because he's going to get the ball. And I don't care what his over is. It's a, he's going to get, this is gonna be a hundred yard game. I think there's no doubt. He's going to get a lot of opportunity. The only thing that I'm worried of is what if the cold say they just dare the Packers to throw it. And they just sit on, on all of the run gaps. They literally just stack the box and make it hard for him to get anything going on the ground. You know what I mean? Well, that's fine. Let's just do quick dump routes. Like don't make Malik Willis think. I think they should run the option with him. I'm dead serious. I think that he's fast. I think that they could do like a, a triple threat thing with Jaden Reed. And of course, Jacob's in, in the. Maybe I, I don't know you like in this game. I like the Colts. I just don't believe in Malik Willis. He has gotten a decent amount of hype over this past year about being someone who's really improved since his rookie year, but man, it was so bad that I just, I don't, I don't believe it till I see it, right. Okay. Move on to Steelers versus Broncos. My Broncos, let's do it. Pittsburgh goes into Denver with as the three point favorite for the lowest over under 36 and a half. They do not expect anyone to score points in this game. There are, there are, you cannot find a prop bet on this yet because they just don't know what to do. Yeah. I don't know what to put out there. Justin Fields is the starter. I do, I do like the Steelers in this game. Oh, man, because their defense is, I think, going to dominate Bo Nix. Yeah. I mean, I also like the Unders. You saw what, what. TJ what did to that falcons offensive line, which is not a horrible offensive line. Our offensive line looked absolutely horrible. Week one. I think TJ was just going to be in Bo Nix lap every fucking play. And I think it's going to be, so you're going to take the Steelers. Yeah, kind of fan. Yeah, I'm thinking, I don't care. I don't care. I always try to be as honest as I could possibly be. I know gumption. I love the Broncos and I will be rooting for the Broncos, but I don't like it. I don't like it. Okay. I don't like it. No gumption. Oh, I, I got gumption. Okay. I got fair, fair enough. Fair enough. I got trust and believe anything good happens. I'm gonna be in that chat talking about sorting out the cheeks. There we go. All right. Bengals teeths going Bengals going into burrowhead or what was once burrowhead where. We don't know where his head's at. Eminem is going as a six point dog in chiefs, 48 and a half over under prop bet wise, I like the Rishi rice, 67 and a half over receiving yards. If he got that against the Ravens defense, he is definitely going to get that against the Bengals. I also like the chiefs in this game. I don't know where Joe Burrow's head's at yet. So. Chiefs all the way. Yeah. Even though he's on my fantasy team. Yeah. I also love that. She, right. That was, she writes a 60 yard mark. We were just talking about how arrow up. In the review episode the arrow up for rishi rice because he just got so much Designed work basically. I mean he's he's like the focal point of the passing attack I think that marquise brown will miss another game Probably come back week three or four, but I think he's going to be out again for this one Which means there's no reason to believe they're going to go away from rishi rice and and that same sort of game plan not only that but Again, Burrow comes out with these sluggish starts to the season. This looks like another one of those things where he's like, we're shaking off the rust until halfway through the season or some shit like that. Don't know what's up with T Higgins, but he's probably not going to play Jamar Tate. Jamar chase might still be on a Snapchat. I just don't like what I'm seeing from the Bengal side of things. And I did like what I saw for the most part from chiefs week one. So I actually liked the chiefs to cover here. I think they covered. All right. So other intriguing games that I didn't really go too much in depth with as far as, you know, looking up stats and all that bears versus Texans. I think Texas is going to have to absolutely stomp the Bears, but I am interested to see if Kayla Williams has a bounce back game. That's where the stuff on digs. Anytime touchdown comes into play. Falcons versus the Eagles. I'm interested to see if the Falcons are going to have a bounce back game. If Jalen hurts is going to have a good game. It doesn't look like butt cheeks, bro, bro. I think he might just be injured. I think he might just be not recovered. They should have not paid him and just drafted Michael Pennix jr. That's all I'm going to say. And then Browns versus Jaguars is Deshaun Watson gonna have a game? Like that's going to be the, the thing all year long. Is he, is he. Until they don't until you as far as I'm concerned. We are already on James watch like What's the over? What's the over under on on how many weeks until James gets in there? I bet it's within the next month. I bet you it's within the next month. There's no way they're paying them all that money No way. Anyway, any other games that intrigue you that maybe we didn't cover real quick Off the top of my head. No, I would have to look at the list Jets Titans 49ers Vikings Saints Cowboys. No, I don't think there's necessarily any intriguing storylines with those. I will say that, you know, the Falcons usage was, was really cool for people who are upset about. The Drake London or the cow pits sort of two or three targets or whatever. I would say don't worry because they were actually out there a hundred percent of the offensive plays. And then Bijan Robinson was second in the league with 90 percent snap share. So we don't have to worry about the Alger thing. And all of the Arthur Smith stuff is definitely Gone, so I would say don't worry about those pieces the the only thing that that you that I would worry about with that is just Is kurt cousins actually going to be kurt cousins or right? Luckily, they do have that sort of pennex insurance where maybe he could come in and make them fantasy worthy pieces If he's the guy I I love the usage that they've got for those three guys Absolutely.
