Speaker 0:Now, you guys, what is mindset and why is mindset so important? Well, first of all, I just want you to know that mindset is literally everything. Everything in your life right now is based on the way that you think. All your results, everything you've done, is based on decisions you've made, based on the way you think, based on your beliefs and your values and what motivates you in life. Okay, so if you're somebody that struggles right now in your relationships, you struggle with your health, you struggle with money or whatever it is it's because of the way you're fucking thinking. You probably have limiting beliefs or negative self-talk that's prevented you from taking the correct actions to change those outcomes. That's it. Whatever success you wanna make in life, it's your mindset and then it's your habits. Now, success you want to make in life. It's your mindset and then it's your habits. Now, success takes time to materialize. Think about somebody who sculpts a physique that looks incredible. Do you think that happened overnight? No, it took years and years and years of making the right decisions every day, with the right information, over and over and over. So that required them to have positive self-talk, because on days you're not feeling it, you got to motivate yourself. Discipline, you got to force yourself to do the work even when you don't want to right, being able to see the big picture of why the work today is going to pay off down the road. You have to have that vision. You have to be connected to that vision. You have to motivate, inspire and push yourself to do the work every day. That, over time, helps you to establish the right habits. Those habits are what create your results. So your mindset is fuel to the habits that create the results. Right.
Speaker 0:Same with people who struggle financially, like right now in America so many people are struggling financially while others are crushing it. Others are embracing social media, embracing different ways of making money. They're embracing crypto and Bitcoin, and they're embracing sales. They're embracing marketing. They're embracing all these skills that are making them super successful. Meanwhile you have the people that are struggling financially and they haven't evolved. And I think the average income right now for Americans is 50,000. And someone put a post out on Facebook I saw the other day. It said the average rent is 2000. And you need three times your income to get that approved for that rent. So that's 6K a month and basically the math is not adding up. If you have 6K a month, you multiply that by 12. What is that? That's 72,000. Well, the average American makes something like 50,000. So the math is not adding up. But that's because things are outdated. They're moving quicker, they're evolving. If you haven't evolved with the times, you're going to get left behind and as a man, I think it's a responsibility that we should make sure this never happens.
Speaker 0:Is individuals struggling financially when they have kids and families to provide for? Like dude, you got to figure that shit out. You've been in the same job 10 years and you always talk about how you don't have money to do stuff. Haven't you ever sat down and thought maybe I should develop a new skill or learn something new to change my financial situation? Like dude, I couldn't do that for 10 days, let alone two years, but I see all these people stuck in the same position they were five years ago the same job that's making them pennies, and they haven't changed. It's because their mindset's flawed. They don't believe they can change. They have limiting beliefs about themselves and their ability.
Speaker 0:What if you just started reading 10 pages out of books related to marketing or business every day? What if you started watching stuff on YouTube about how to make money, like new careers, new technology, new skill sets? Here's the thing you need to be curious and you need to be voracious when it comes to obtaining information. I still read every day. I'm still looking to obtain new information. I never want to stop learning and growing, and this is a key facet of somebody who becomes successful in life. They're always wanting to obtain information. They're always wanting to learn. They're curious. They're always wanting to obtain information. They're always wanting to learn. They're curious, they're inquisitive about things. But people that aren't, they settle. People that aren't reading, people that aren't learning, they fucking start dying man, and you see it affect all areas of their life their health, their relationships, their finances.
Speaker 0:So look, if you're somebody that's struggling in any areas in your life right now, you don't have the results you want, it's because your mindset is flawed. Dude, I'm going to give you the exact blueprint you need to execute and how you have to change your thinking in order to become successful. I did this in a prison cell, with absolutely nothing. I was facing life in prison and I learned how to turn my brain into a superpower versus something that was detrimental and going to hold me back, because for the first X number of years of my life for over a decade from 13 to 23, my mind was not working for me. It was working against me. I had negative thoughts, limiting beliefs. I just was not thriving, and it's because of the way I was thinking, and it was because of my expectations and my standards All this stuff's internal.
Speaker 0:So the first thing that you have to do if you want to change your life is you have to change your mindset. Well, what does that look like? I mean, first you just have to be honest with yourself about what you really want. So let's say you're working a job and you're broke, or your relationships are falling apart, or your health is deteriorating. Imagine what would make you so happy in those key areas of your life, to see change Like what is the actual result you want and put something down that you would just love to see in your life, even if you don't believe it's true right now or it could become true.
Speaker 0:The first step is just to have that image or vision of what you want. That's the first step, okay. The second step is to ask yourself, like why can't I achieve that? Why can't I achieve that, if I work hard every day and I learn something new and I put in the work in 10 years, could I progress towards that? Like you have to just break it down into these smaller, manageable chunks of time to give yourself just a semblance of belief that it's possible for you. Okay. Then the next thing is like why do you want that?
Speaker 0:You have to find something inside of you that drives you, that motivates you. Like the fact that so many of you out there are struggling and you're not changing. You got kids. Like that shocks me. There's nothing that I wouldn't do for my kids. I'll cut off my fucking arms right now if that meant giving them a better life and live the rest of my life with no arms. Like that's how much I love them, you know. And the fact that a lot of you stay stuck in these situations. You let your health deteriorate, you drink, you eat bad food. Financially you're struggling, but you're not changing. Like, what is wrong with you? Like don't you care about them? I guess not enough. Maybe you need to find something deeper inside of you that's going to drive you, that's going to compel you to change. You know so that why is so powerful? My why still drives me to this day, and it doesn't matter what level I reach in life. I'm always going to strive to better myself because my why is going to push me to become the ultimate human being, the ultimate version of who I can become on this planet.
Speaker 0:So here's the thing the mindset right is so key. You have to have a positive mindset and you have to focus on gratitude. If you're sitting there thinking about what you don't have, if you're negative, if you're talking bad about people, like if you're sitting there and you're one of those people watching freaking TikTok and YouTube videos and making fun of people, or you're out at the grocery store and you're all grumpy like dude, you're losing in life. Not only are you a negative, mean person, but you're tortured internally by the way you're living. So if you can change your thoughts from negative to positive. You have such an advantage in life and the way you do that.
Speaker 0:There's two ways. First, you just start to think about all the things that you're grateful for every day. If you're broke. But you got legs, dude, you're so blessed. There's some people out there with no legs and who got money. They'd trade all the money in the world to have legs. You woke up today and you can see colors. Like you're blessed. There's some people that are blind. If they had a billion dollars, they would quickly trade it just to have your fucking eyeballs Like. You got to start to tell yourself that you're blessed and see the good in your life. You woke up today. You're breathing, your family members are healthy. You have the opportunity to take control of your life. Today, like inside your own mind is where everything is created.
Speaker 0:When I was in jail, I started to use my mind to create these scenarios in my life that made me feel so good about what I had. I didn't focus on what I didn't have. I'd wake up every day and I'd sit there and I'd pray and I'd meditate for as long as it took to create this shift in my energy and I'd think about all my family members' faces and the fact that they would write me letters and they were there to support me. I'd think about old memories that brought me joy and people who I got to spend time with. I think about the fact that I could do push-ups saying God just gave me these arms. I could work out. You know, I think about these eyes that I have. I could read I can understand the words in these pages Like I would just go into this internal dialogue for as long as it took to really feel grateful for what I had. It wasn't just something that I thought about and then, all of a sudden, I changed the way I felt.
Speaker 0:Like you have to really shift your energy on a deep internal level. You have to think about and envision all the good in your life and you have to literally obsess over it and connect to it internally until you feel the effects of knowing that you're grateful, like not just thinking it, knowing there's a big difference. Then you need to take that energy and channel it into positive actions. I don't care what you do today. They all have to make you feel proud of who you are. They all have to build you up. They all have to move you forward, even if it's incremental growth. One little step, one little movement forward.
Speaker 0:Dude, I'm telling you the guy who could wake up and tap into gratitude, he's going to start to have more positive thoughts about his life, and if you can channel that into actions that are going to improve the quality of your life over time, you're on the path to success. That's going to inspire you to read more books, learn more information, build better relationships, bring better energy into the world, take better care of your health. All of a sudden, you're going to start looking at the food you're eating. All of a sudden, you're going to start thinking about going to the gym. All of a sudden, you're going to start thinking about your career and what you want to do. Like dude, there's a ripple effect that takes place, but it all starts deep internally within you.
Speaker 0:Now, most people never do this and they just wake up and they're bombarded with the reality of their situation and it puts them at a disadvantage because they start to lose hope. They get beat down by life, they get jaded, they don't have that spark, they're a little more disgruntled, they're a little more irritable and they just do what they've been doing because they're already losing the battle. So look you guys, it's all fucking mindset. If you want to take control of your life, you have to develop a winner's mindset, you have to be grateful, you have to take that energy and channel it into positive actions. Get new information, get obsessed over growing and personal development and I promise you, in five years from now, you're going to be in such a different place in your life and you're going to look back on this pivotal moment where you took control of your thoughts. You took control of the way your mind operated and you're going to realize that made all the difference in your life.
