Chapter 5:

A wounded stranger is brought to Taran for healing. Something feels wrong about him. He insists Taran has magic, when she has had none for her whole life. Later, the stranger comes to her home to try to kill her, and Bard protects her. The villages don't trust Bard, even though he saved her life.
