In this episode, we discuss what it is like in the UK for mother Joanne Griffiths to provide access to medical cannabis for an amazing young man, her 14-year-old son, Ben. Ben, aka Boisterous Ben, requires cannabis medicine to combat severe treatment-resistant/refractory epilepsy. Cannabis also helps Ben deal with the damage(s) caused from treatment-resistant epileptic seizures and to deal with conditions of Cerebral Palsy. Joanne has been a patient advocate for cannabis medicine and cannabis legalization for years before legalization. Still, since cannabis was legalized for medical use on November 1st, 2018, in the UK, Joanne has not been able to get a script for her son Ben. Ben cannot survive without medical cannabis. The NHS is denying Ben his free access to medical cannabis.
