Speaker 3:

Hello and welcome to the CEO Trusts Podcast. I'm your host, reverend Charles Irvin. I'm your host, reverend Charles Irvin. Today's topic is Person Gallant. Dear Lord, may my words open up some of our hearts to you today. May my powerful words unlock that space in somebody's heart to come back to church, dear Lord, may my powerful words lift up somebody today to rejoice, your Rejoice in the name. Amen. Now for the Lord's Prayer. Our Father who art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and learn from the temptations, not delay us. For you, thy is kingdom and power and the glory forever and ever. Amen, amen, amen. Now for the scriptures for today. It comes from Romans 16.

Speaker 4:

Romans, chapter 16, I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon of the church in Cencrii. I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a way worthy of his people and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been the benefactor of many people, including me. Greet, priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus. They risked their lives for me. Not only I, but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them. Greet also the church that meets at their house. Greet, my dear friend Eponetus, who was the first convert to Christ in the province of Asia. Greet Mary, who worked very hard for you. Greet Andronicus and Junia, my fellow Jews who've been in prison with me. They are outstanding among the apostles and they were in Christ before I was. Greet Ampliatus, my dear friend in the Lord. Greet Urbanus, our fellow worker in Christ, and my dear friend Stachys. Greet Apelles, whose fidelity to Christ has stood the test. Greet those who belong to the household of Aristobulus. Greet Herodian, my fellow Jew. Greet those in the household of Narcissus who are in the Lord. Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa, those women who work hard in the household of Narcissus, who are in the Lord. Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa, those women who work hard in the Lord. Greet my dear friend Persis, another woman who has worked very hard in the Lord. Greet Rufus, chosen in the Lord, and his mother, who has been a mother to me too. Greet Asyncretus, phlegon, hermes, petrobus, hermas and the other brothers and sisters with them. Greet Philologus, julia and Nereus and his sister and Olympus and all the Lord's people who are with them. Greet one another with a holy kiss.

Speaker 4:

All the churches of Christ send greetings. I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them, for such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery, they deceive the minds of naive people. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you, but I want you to be wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Speaker 4:

Timothy, my co-worker, sends his greetings to you, as do Lucius, jason and Sosipater, my fellow Jews. I, tertius, who wrote down this letter, greet you in the Lord Gaius, whose hospitality I and the whole church here enjoy. Sends you his greetings Erastus, who is the city's director of public works, and our brother Quartus. Send you their greetings Now to him, who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith to the only wise God. Be glory forever through Jesus Christ, amen.

Speaker 3:

I greet you today with this Do you believe in Jesus Christ? Do you believe in Easter? Have you received the Holy Spirit since you came to Jesus, and do you believe in parent cards? Those are the questions that my pastor asks us every Sunday morning when we worship. And now I'm asking you the same questions I'm going will be asking every Sunday. Greet somebody with this hello my name is. And do you believe in Jesus Christ? We do that. Hello, my name is. And do you believe in Jesus Christ? If we do that, we can make this world a better place again.

Speaker 3:

Don't be afraid to share your faith with somebody. This is the greeting that every church member in this, every faith, every member of our faith, should ask everybody when we greet people Hello my name is. And do you believe in Jesus Christ? Jesus Christ, force all the sinners away from this earth. I know that it's not. It cannot be believed at this time because we are in a turmoil right now, but we're going to get through this. We're going to get through all the four wars that are going on right now. We need to pray the next Russian election, that we need to elect a new president of Russia so we can end this cruel oppression of the Ukrainians and the oppression of the Palestinians from Jerusalem. Right now we need to pray for Vietnamese, the Philippines. Right now they got a new dictator. They're going to not dictatorship. We need to pray. Then that's the lesson that we end dictatorship and the paraphernalia and we get back to peaceful again.

Speaker 3:

You don't be afraid. If you see someone on a body pants, please go over and make a friend with them. They need you could have maybe gone through something. They need a friend, your neighbors, you can see them in trouble. Don't fear, don't be scared. Go over there and make friends with them. See if you can help. We need to start make this a better world. We need to start make peace. Our way to infallibility is with the Holy Bible. I am a humble disciple of Jesus Christ myself. Yes, I was going through some stuff until I got my Bible and I started to read it. It's God to me. I almost jumped off a bridge, but God pulled me back, telling that you need to. I'm sending you a path, god's path, to make disciples for me. That's why I started this podcast, so people can understand the Lord through the Holy Bible. Amen, amen. I want you to listen to the music. As I close the hymns, please think of Jesus and pray in silence for your forgiveness, for he can forgive you.

Speaker 2:

So you can forgive somebody today. Amen, thank you. Now the word was heard At the tomb that day. Just shuff the soldiers' wheels as they guarded the grave. One day, two days, three days had passed.

Speaker 2:

Could it be that Jesus breathed his last Jesus? Could it be that his father had forsaken him, turned his back on his son, despising our sin? All hell seems to whisper. Just forget each day. And the father looked down to his son and said Arise my love, arise my love. The grave no longer has a hold on you. No more density, no more suffering. Arise, arise.

Speaker 2:

The earth trembled and the tomb began to shake. And, like lightning from heaven, the stones rolled away. And, as dead men to guards, they all stood there in fright as the power of love Displayed its might. Suddenly, a melody Ripped the air, running into the wind. It was everywhere, but it was a dream. It was every day the words of creation had been longing to hear the dreams that don't betray so love and fear, so loud and clear Arise my love, arise my love. The brave founders hold on to. No more death's sting, no more suffering. Arise, arise, sing. Where are your signals? Stand, where is your sting? Who has been defeated? The grave could not hold. The king. Arise, pepper, arise my love, arise my love, the light, the light. I heard the preacher talking about three wooden crosses upon a hill for everyone to see. Two sinners on the outside couldn't save themselves if they tried. All I could think is man. That sounds like me. I've been the one on the left, full of guilt and regret, long gone on the wrong side of living.

Speaker 1:

I've been the one on the right always looking for a fight, thinking I could never be forgiven.

Speaker 2:

I'm standing here today overwhelmed by grace cause. I know who paid my cost. Thank God for the man on the middle cross. He didn't have to do it, but for me he went through it. A love like that I'll never understand. Lord knows I don't deserve it and I know I couldn't earn it, but mercy rained down on this desperate man. I've been the one on the left, full of guilt and regret, long gone on the wrong side of living.

Speaker 1:

I've been the one on the right always looking for a fight, thinking I could never be forgiven.

Speaker 2:

I'm standing here today overwhelmed by grace, because I know who paid my cost. Thank God for the man on the middle cross. The cross is where he went, but that ain't where he stayed. He brought me back to life when he rose up out of that grave. Someday I'll stand before him and I'll see Jesus face to face. I'll worship and adore him for a life forever changed. I've been the one on the left, full of guilt and regret, long gone on the wrong side of living. I've been the one on the right, always looking for a fight, thinking I can never be forgiven. I'm standing here today overwhelmed by grace, cause I know who paid my cost. Thank God for the man on the middle cross. Thank God for the man on the middle cross. Give me that old time religion. Give me that old time religion. Give me that old time religion. It's good enough for me. Give me that old time religion. Give me that old time religion. Give me that old time religion. It's good enough for me. Give me that old time religion. Give me that old time religion. Give me that old time religion. It's good enough for me. It was good for my dear mother. It was good for my dear mother. It was good for my dear mother. It's good enough for me. It was good for my dear father. It was good for my dear father. It was good for my dear father, don't you know? It's good enough for me. Give me that old time religion. Just give me that old time religion. Give me that old time religion. I know that it's good enough for me. Good enough for me, good enough for me, oh, it's good enough, good enough for me, me, me, me.

Speaker 2:

I heard an old, old story how a Savior came from glory, how he gave His life on Calvary to save a wretch like me. I heard about his groaning of his precious blood's atoning. Then I repented of my sin and won the victory. Oh victory in Jesus, my Savior forever. He sought me and bought me with his redeeming blood. He loved me ere I knew him, and all my love is to him. He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood. Thank you On the crystal sea About the angels singing and the old redemption story, and some sweet day I'll sing up there the song of victory. Oh victory in Jesus, my Savior forever. He sought me and bought me With His redeeming blood. He loved me ere I knew Him, and all my love is to Him. He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood. Oh, victory in Jesus, my Savior forever. He sought me and bought me with his redeeming blood. He loved me ere I knew him and all my love is to him. All my love is to Him. He plunged me to victory Beneath the cleansing flood. Beneath the cleansing flood, here's our sin, vanity and pride. Caring not, my Lord was crucified, knowing not, it was for me I am now. Mercy there was, grace was free, there was love to me. There, I heard so, found liberty at Calvary by God's word at last. My sin I learned. Then I trembled at the law, I spurned, till my guilty soul in glory turned To Calvary. Mercy there was great and grace was free. Fire there was called to fly to me. There, my burdened soul found liberty At Calvary. Now I give to jesus everything. Lord, take my hand as I went down in the river to pray, studying about that good old way. And who shall wear the starry crown? Good Lord, show me the way. Oh sisters, let's go down. Let's go down, come on down. Oh sisters, let's go down down in the river to pray. As I went down in the river to pray, studying about that good old way and who shall wear the, the robe and crown. Good Lord, show me the way. Oh brothers, let's go down. Let's go down, come on down. Come on, brothers, let's go down down in the river to pray, as I went down in the river to pray, studying about that good old way and who shall wear the starry crown. Good Lord, show me the way. Oh fathers, let's go down, let's go down, come on down. Oh fathers, let's go down, let's go down, come on down. Oh fathers, let's go down down in the river to pray, as I went down in the river to pray, studying about that good old way, and who shall wear the robe and crown. Good lord, show me the way. Oh mothers, let's go down, come on down. Don't you want to go down? Come on, mothers, let's go down down in the river to pray, down in the river to pray, as I went down in the river to pray, studying about that good old way and who shall wear the starry crown. Good Lord, show me the way. Oh sinners, let's go down. Let's go down, come on down. Oh sinners, let's go down down in the river to pray, studying about that good old way, and who shall wear the robe and crown. Good Lord, show me the way.

Speaker 2:

I'll meet you in the morning by the bright riverside, when all sorrow has drifted away, some glad morning when this life is over. I'll fly away to a die. Hallelujah, my empire. I'll fly away Just a few more Every day and then Off. I went To a home where George will never end Off, I went, off, I went. Oh glory. Off I went. I'll fly away, oh glory. I'll fly away when I die. Hallelujah, I am found. I'll fly away when the shadows of this life is gone. I'll fly away Like a bird from prison bars of clone. I'll fly away. I'll fly away, oh glory. I'll fly away when I die. Hallelujah, by and by.

Speaker 2:

I'll fly away when we walk with the Lord In the light of His Word. What a glory he sheds on our way While we do His good will. He abides with us still, and with all who will trust and obey, trust and obey and obey, trust and obey. For there's no other way to be happy in jesus but to trust and obey. We never can prove the delights of his love Until all on the altar we lay, for the favor he shows and the joy he bestows Are for those who will trust and obey, trust and obey, trust and obey, for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey. Then in fellowship, sweet, we will sit at his feet or we'll walk by his side in the way, what he says we will do. Where he sends we will go, never fear, only trust and obey, trust and obey, for there's no other way To be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.
