Ike Wingate
Are we being outwitted by the very media we trust to inform us? Step into my world, Ike Wingate, as I bring to light the tangled webs of misinformation and underscore the necessity of a critical mindset in today's media frenzy. From my candid reflections on a Newsmax appearance to the seismic shock of an earthquake in New York City, this episode is a relentless quest for truth amidst the tremors of contemporary media narratives.

Venture beyond the headlines with me as we dissect the victimhood narrative infiltrating America's discourse, particularly within women's sports and societal victories. I confront the myths and champion the tales of resilience that forge American exceptionalism, while touching on the contentious debates surrounding the Biden administration's alcohol policies, Charlemagne Tha God's insights on DEI, and the economic shockwaves of a $20 minimum wage in California. This is a conversation that cuts through the noise, demanding a reevaluation of the perceived role of victimhood in our national story.

In the trenches of entrepreneurship and content creation, I grapple with the financial hurdles that come with the territory. Despite these challenges, the commitment to you, the listener, remains unwavering as I explore the diverse voices in conservative media and the significance of faith in the public sphere. Delve into the controversies surrounding Ashley Biden's diary and understand why faith, perseverance, and accountability in media are cornerstones of the Ike Wingate Show. So tune in, as we embark on a journey that promises to enlighten, provoke thought, and perhaps even reshape the landscape of your convictions.

Speaker 1:

Let's get this party started.

Speaker 3:

He's shining a light in the dark corners of our media, you are fake news.

Speaker 4:

Our government Handling of classified documents. And our culture. Don't trust anyone. It's common sense amidst chaos. Let's go January 8th.

Speaker 3:

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome. Here's your host, ike Wingate. Good afternoon and welcome to the show for Friday, april 5th 2024. So glad to have you here, as we are coming to you live on seven. Is it seven different platforms? Yes, seven different platforms coming to you live and, of course, those of you that are listening after the fact on our podcast. We are glad you're here and we are about to expose more of the lies that our media tries to peddle upon us. We are trying to bring more of the lies that our media tries to peddle upon us. We are trying to bring critical thinking back to America and if you listen closely and you go away thinking, do your own research, you will come away smarter, I believe, and able to critically think about the things that we're told versus the things that are actually happening. Comment in the chat and you can be part of the show today. If you're watching on TikTok, you can request to join as a guest and if we have time and you know there's plenty of guests we'll bring you up as part of the show today. Of course, this is completely funded by you via Cash App and Venmo. You can do that at ikewingatecom or check out our merch store at NoMorePronounscom.

Speaker 3:

Well, if you're watching on, you know whether it's Facebook, linkedin, youtube X, instagram Rumble or TikTok you'll notice I am, you know, not wearing my typical polo shirt. You know, I dress like a coach. It's basically my wardrobe. I am wearing, you know, a suit jacket and a button-up shirt. The reason why is because I did a live hit earlier on Newsmax on the Newsline show, and so that was a fun event. It goes by very quickly, just some inside baseball on TV. A lot of times they have you prepare for multiple things that they never actually get to, and so, since I've done the research, I've looked into it, I'm going to bring you part of that on the show today. There's no reason to waste, you know, credible, insightful research, right? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So it was pretty interesting because, you know, I've been on Newsmax a couple times.

Speaker 3:

This time was a little bit different. You know the producers, you know, were not quite as working in advance as maybe a previous appearance, but it was fine. It was fine Just like last time. You know they have you prepare for stuff that they never get to. What was different about this time is the very first question they asked me. They had not put that on my list whatsoever to prepare for related to trans and biological men competing in women's sports. Of course we've talked about that a lot, so it wasn't like I was caught completely ignorant on the subject but certainly hadn't prepared any nuggets as far as talking points go. I don't even remember what I said, but they also had me prepare for the Biden administration moving toward controlling your alcohol intake. They never asked me about that. They also had me prepare for the South Carolina coach, women's basketball coach, who said that if you don't believe in God, there's something wrong with you. They never asked me about that. They did, however, ask me about DEI, diversity, equity and inclusion and the comments from Charlemagne the God the entertainer. He was hosting the daily show filling in the other day and he said that DEI was garbage and so we did talk about that. So if they send me a clip, I'll make that available to you to be able to watch. And again, like I said, I have no idea what I said on the first question, but look, that's TV.

Speaker 3:

The earthquake in New York City has pushed everything, so it's short and sweet and that's what we're going to talk about first today on the show is this earthquake in New York City. It's a 4.8 magnitude earthquake that has rattled parts of New Jersey and New York City. What I find interesting is you know, if this earthquake happened in, say, oregon or, you know, kansas, it wouldn't be something that they stop and cover wall to wall. But anything that happens in New York City, because the media is based there, they cover it as if everyone you know lives there. Certainly, an earthquake is a big deal, but that's just the way it always is. If something happens in New York City, they're going to cover it. The same thing could happen in downtown Paducah, kentucky, and you'd never hear anything about it. It's just the way it goes. But nonetheless, that pushed some things. The earthquake in New York, it seems like it hasn't caused a lot of damage. It was a 4.8 magnitude, certainly uncommon to have an earthquake in that region. We just had an earthquake in Taiwan as well, and so it's kind of interesting when these things start to happen. When these things start to happen, it makes me kind of go back to some of the words in the Bible about the. What does it talk about? The earth groaning. That seems kind of like what's happening right now.

Speaker 3:

We do have a clip of someone's internal camera, their indoor camera camera, their indoor camera that shows what this was like in Middlesex, new Jersey. Now, I will warn you, there is some language in the clip. This is someone experiencing an unexpected earthquake in a part of the country that otherwise typically doesn't see these types of things, and so they are reacting in real time. So I'm warning you, in case you have little ears nearby, there are some words in it. These are clips that you know we find on the internet. This one was actually posted by Raw's Alerts, and so we. You know we don't have the ability to edit out any language or anything on the fly. So this is the clip.

Speaker 3:

Let's go ahead and play it. So you see the dog jumps off the couch Now they have the hallway, okay. So you see stuff falling off the wall. Certainly an alarming incident. Thankfully, it doesn't look like their house didn't fall in or anything like that. So certainly a weird, crazy, scary experience.

Speaker 3:

Now, what's interesting is that the inside paper over on X, and if you're watching on every platform except for TikTok, you can see it on the actual screen. Unfortunately, tiktok doesn't allow us to show you this kind of stuff, so if you do want to see it. You're watching on TikTok. Go over to the link in my profile and watch it on YouTube. Would love to be able to show it to you on TikTok. I hate having to make this announcement every single show because there's people that are like we can't see it, what's wrong with you? Well, if you're over on the other platforms that give us access to stream this feed, then you would see it. So that's where you can see it. And so right now we're looking at this map. The epicenter of the earthquake in New Jersey just so happens to be Trump National Golf Club. Okay, right in Bedminster, that's the epicenter of this particular quake.

Speaker 3:

Isn't this kind of weird? You know? It makes you think. It's pretty evident that you know there are entities in this world that have the power to arbitrarily not arbitrarily to manufacture an earthquake. It is. That's actually a fact. Now, I don't know how easy it is to do it, but there are certain. There's certain data out there. You can look it up. How do you actually cause an earthquake? Is it possible? Is it possible to cause something like this so pinpointed? Would we really believe that someone set off an earthquake to try to destroy Trump's property? I don't know, with as much hatred as there is out there, disdain, trump, derangement syndrome. For the former president, I would say anything's possible. Now I'm sitting here looking at it going. That's really odd. I don't think it was manufactured, but I have an open mind because you see the lengths that some people are willing to go to try to destroy Trump. You never know. You never know. I mean, the indictments aren't working. His polling is just skyrocketing, and so I think anything's possible. Probably not likely, but it is weird.

Speaker 3:

Now, the other thing that's strange, that's happening in the city of New York well, this week, is that lightning struck the Statue of Liberty. You can see the picture. We'll put it up full screen here. The Statue of Liberty was struck, I believe, on Monday. There were some maybe it was yesterday some huge storms, not Monday, yeah, yesterday, sorry. Wednesday, wednesday, so that would have been April 3rd, and so the image is pretty eerie. You see it there on the screen lightning striking the Statue of Liberty in New York City. Then, a few days later, an earthquake hits New York City.

Speaker 3:

It makes you wonder, you know, for a city that is completely forgotten about God and is in mass chaos and up is down, down is up. Good is bad. Bad is good when people you know can murder people and go free and when people are, you know, being punched in the face walking down the road, there's just there's a lot of evil and criminality there. I don't know, seems like more than a coincidence to me, but nonetheless that did happen. Some boats sank out in the harbor as they got a pretty large storm there earlier this week, storm there earlier this week. So is this sort of a precursor of what's to come? I don't know, I'm not. God cannot predict. I find it really interesting that these things are happening in the heart of the mecca of the United States of America.

Speaker 3:

All right, so we'll move on from the earthquake news. We'll get you a clip from Kamala Harris. If you're looking for some straight up wisdom, someone who certainly knows what they're talking about. It's not Kamala Harris. Take a look at this clip where she's interviewed talking about the NCAA women's bracket the women's bracket saying that women were not allowed to have brackets until 2022.

Speaker 4:

Okay, a bit of a history lesson. Do you know that women were not, the women's teams were not allowed to have brackets until 2022? Think about that and what that. Talk about progress, you know. Better late than never, but progress and what that has done, because, of course, when you know, I had a bracket, it's not broken completely, but I won't talk about my bracket, but you know what, just how we love. We love March Madness and even just now, allowing the women to have brackets and what that does to encourage people to talk more about the women's teams, to watch them. Now they're being covered. You know, and this is the reality. People used to say, oh, women's sports, who's interested? Well, if you can't see it, you won't be, but when you see it, you realize oh, do you know?

Speaker 3:

Okay. So could anyone decipher what the heck this woman is talking about? I mean, she is utterly insane. She's first off, wrong, completely wrong. The brackets have been going on since 1982. I don't know what she's talking about People not being able to see women's basketball.

Speaker 3:

It's been televised for years. It goes back to the idea of how do we become a professional victimhood. I find almost nearly nothing more reprehensible and a bigger turnoff than someone who is a professional victim If you want to find something that you can claim victimhood over which, by the way, she doesn't even have the facts correct to be able to claim it if she wanted to. But if you're looking for something to be a victim about, you can always find it. Believe that.

Speaker 3:

What happened to counting our blessings? What happened to being an overcomer? What happened to the confidence, the dignity that comes with triumph and overcoming the odds, working against the grain and coming out on top? That is something to celebrate. Victimhood is not. Victimhood diminishes all aspects of a productive member of society. It is always looking for what is going wrong and blaming it on something or someone else other than you.

Speaker 3:

I understand there are terrible things that happen in life. I understand there are disappointments. I understand being wronged. I understand being passed over for something else. I understand things not going your way. The difference between a winner and a loser is looking at every difficulty in your life as something that you can overcome. Difficulty in your life as something that you can overcome. It is looking at those things as refining you for your next moment of victory. That is what winners do. It is called overcoming adversity the exact opposite of looking for any possible reason to blame for a failure or a shortcoming or just not getting treated the way everyone else is treated.

Speaker 3:

I understand there are mean people in this world. I understand there are evil people in this world, but are you going to let them define who you are and your identity? That is the difference. That is how our country was grown to exceptionalism, because the cream rises to the top. People that work hard and do not let the setbacks in their lives define them come out on top. It doesn't matter what you look like. It doesn't matter if you're male or female. People want to point to all reasons why they're treated differently, or they can't do this, or if this person would get out of their way, everything would be okay.

Speaker 3:

Let me tell you everyone has difficulties. The degrees of those difficulties certainly vary, but it's a mentality. It's a mentality of getting over the things that don't happen, whether it's your own shortcoming or someone doing something to you and saying, yeah, that sucked. I wish it would have gone better, but I'm not going to let that stop me. Kamala Harris is the exact opposite of that. She's literally making crap up about how women don't have brackets and they're so oppressed and all these kind of things. It's flat out bull crap. It's bull crap and I don't know who said that life is fair, but they were wrong. I don't know if your parents taught you that. My parents certainly taught me that Not everyone gets treated the exact same in life.

Speaker 3:

It is called maturity and realizing that things aren't always going to go your way. Do you harp on it? Do you get up on a soapbox and tell everybody you know something, you know some reason why you can't do this or do that. No, you get out and you get to work and you overcome it. That's what you have to do.

Speaker 3:

I understand there are peaks and valleys in life. There are lulls where something is not going your way. The difference in failure and success is you. Do not let that stop you? People that have success and I'm talking about financial success, success in their family, success in life, happiness, whatever they got there through a series of failures. That's the reality.

Speaker 3:

The difference in a winner and a loser is whether or not you let failure stop you. You can adjust, you can change your direction, but you don't stop moving. That is what embodies the American spirit and that is the exact opposite of what Kamala Harris and other professional victims embody. It's anti-American, it's anti-success and it's completely anti-gratitude. When you want to look and find everything that's possibly going wrong in your life, you don't have to look far. You can always find it. But if you look at the ways in which your life could be worse and is better, you can always find that too.

Speaker 3:

As Sesame Street taught us, count your blessings. We'll be back with the Biden administration trying to control our alcohol intake. Yeah, that's a real thing. Charlemagne the God says DEI is garbage. I think he's right about that, but I'll tell you how I disagree with him. And the $20 minimum wage has gone into effect in California, and you got to be careful what you wish for in a situation like that. We're coming back with all that more here on the Ike Wingate Show. Stay where you are.

Speaker 3:

Welcome back into the Ike Wingate Show. Glad to have you here on a special Friday edition. We're going to be changing some of the times up that we do this show. I'll tell you one thing specifically is that we have tried to make this show stand on its own from a revenue standpoint, and you know, just like I talked about, failures happen. Do they define you? No, but it just has presented the reality that this is not something that I can support my family with on a regular basis.

Speaker 3:

So you're still going to see clips and videos that we produce out on my social media channels. If you want to find those, you can go to ikewingatecom. But as far as regular shows, what we're looking at right now is doing a once a week show, probably in the evenings, and that is because I have to get back into the private sector. Not that I was ever out of the private sector, but I have to get back into some development opportunities to generate the kind of income I need to support my family. And it's okay, it's fine. We tried this. We tried to make it stand on its own and be able to support itself revenue-wise, and it's just not quite time yet. I'm not ruling it out as a possibility. So just letting you know that we do plan to keep bringing you regular content on demand through our video clips. But as far as live shows go, we will be likely scaling back to a once a week show in the evening, probably on Thursday evenings. We will let you know when we figure that out. We're still in the process of retooling, recalibrating, it happens, and so, anyway, that's where we're at. For the last year plus, I have been funding all of this myself and your support has definitely helped in that process. We hit a pretty good peak of funding last summer, but it has sort of fallen off since then and we've tried to secure the sponsorships and things necessary to subsidize all of this. So we don't have to bring the request to you to fund this thing as a listener and a viewer, and we just haven't gotten there yet. So not giving up, just recalibrating, so just giving you a little housekeeping there, because some people have been asking.

Speaker 3:

And so our next story is related to the Biden administration. The Biden administration is now quietly maneuvering to recommend Americans give up drinking. Um, they want to control your alcohol intake. Now, and this is from the National Review here on your screen. Let me see if we can get that going. Okay, and let's see. Here the story reads Biden administration quietly maneuvering to recommend Americans give up drinking. That's according to House Republicans. They want to have Americans abandon drinking altogether. The Biden administration is violating federal law by delegating responsibility for the development of alcohol intake guidelines to a sub-agency of HHS rather than to the secretary himself. They've been sort of angling at this for a while. The World Health Organization has already said no alcohol intake whatsoever is safe. When you see our government aligning with the World Health Organization, that is a recipe for disaster. I got to tell you. The WHO is all about control. We certainly saw that through COVID, and so you know. I beckon back to Justice Kavanaugh. You remember during his confirmation hearing. This is what he had to say when he was asked about alcohol.

Speaker 7:

Did you consume alcohol during your high school years?

Speaker 2:

Yes, we drank beer. My friends and I, the boys and girls. Yes, we drank beer. I liked beer, Still like beer. We drank beer. The drinking age, as I noted, was 18, so the seniors were legal.

Speaker 3:

We drank beer, we liked beer, I liked beer. I still like beer, so I don't have anything wrong or any problem with that. The idea, of course, is moderation right. Anything that you indulge in to excess is harmful. Alcohol has caused devastating effects when it's been abused in thousands of families, so it shouldn't be taken lightly.

Speaker 3:

But should the government be the one to say that none is allowed whatsoever and you go? Well, that's not going to happen. There's too much money involved in alcohol and blah, blah, blah. Well, you know there's a lot of industry and alcohol creation. You know, is this another way to stymie private business, which the Biden administration continues to try to do? But anytime you give the government control of something, they're going to take more. You don't give up ground on your own liberty, whether you're a teetotaler or not.

Speaker 3:

The implications long term are bad when the government is allowed to control aspects of our lives that have nothing to do with them. They already control if someone gets behind the wheel, but to be able to consume in moderation or to excess really isn't the government's business. Obviously I wouldn't recommend the excess part, but we shouldn't give the government this control. That's the bottom line, and when we are conditioned as a society that it is okay for the government to control more and more aspects of our lives. We are conditioned to continue to put our faith and trust in the government as the end all be all entity of knowing what's good and what's not, and it normalizes it, and so that would not be where they stop in way of their control, and so I am adamantly against this, adamantly against their control of this. If the Biden administration really wants the United States of America to cut back on drinking, how about you quit giving us a reason to drink? How about that? With all of the madness, horrible policy and absolute disaster that the Biden administration has caused, it's no wonder that they are driving people to drink. So I would put it more back on the bad policy and say quit screwing up our country and maybe people will drink less. How about that? Just an idea, just an idea. But as Kavanaugh says, I like beer, I drink beer.

Speaker 3:

One of the weirdest moments in a confirmation hearing ever. It was an SNL skit perfectly made for TV, right there in real life. All right, let's move on to our next story. This is Charlemagne Tha God. He's an entertainer, he's a radio host. He's the one that Joe Biden said man, if you don't vote for me, you ain't black. He also endorsed Joe Biden in the past because Kamala Harris was on the ticket and she's part black. So basically, a guy who makes decisions based on the color of skin Obviously not a guy that I want to trust, who calls himself the God, by the way, totally, totally crazy but not a guy's opinion that we need to put a whole lot of stock in, because he's been completely wrong when he endorsed Joe Biden simply because of Kamala Harris. Anybody who has a conversation with Kamala Harris for five minutes realizes there's nothing there. It's complete air up inside her head, as we demonstrated earlier this hour on the clip that we played about the women's brackets.

Speaker 3:

These are policies that many large companies have put into place, whether voluntarily or under pressure from large investment firms like BlackRock and others. These investment firms handle the pensions of a lot of Congress, and so the theory is that the push to these types of ridiculous policies are coming straight out of Congress, in pressure over these large financial firms to either push DEI or lose the ability to manage their pensions. It is an idea that people are hiring based on outer appearance. People are hiring based on outer appearance, not competency or content of character. But Charlemagne the God went on the Daily Show recently and said that DEI is garbage. Dei is garbage, but not for the reasons you might think.

Speaker 1:

DEI. It means more fair hiring policies, new anti-discrimination rules for the workplace and sensitivity training seminars, and the first thing it led to was a shitload of ads.

Speaker 7:

Real progress on diversity and inclusion doesn't happen without real work.

Speaker 2:

Say celebrate diversity into the X1 voice remote to discover curated content today into your X1 voice remote to discover curated content today Every day.

Speaker 1:

General Mills serves the world by making food. People, love and inclusion is one of our secret ingredients.

Speaker 6:

At Kraft Heinz, our purpose is to make life delicious, and we believe we can't achieve that without one essential ingredient diversity. It's diversity that makes life delicious.

Speaker 1:

We're on a 400-year-long journey and scars don't fade, but neither does hope. Ask your doctor. If black people are right for you, that's right. Nobody's buying Vaseline because of diversity. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever actually bought Vaseline. It's just there Like it comes with the house, right. So that's how things stood in 2020, but that was like 15 years ago. Today, when people talk about DEI, it's more likely to sound like this DEI is just a rebranded version of hating white people.

Speaker 7:

DEI, in this case, stands for divisive, erroneous and insidious.

Speaker 2:

DEI which stands for didn't earn it Discrimination, exclusion and indoctrination.

Speaker 1:

DEI. Dei stands for Dr Drang, eazy-e and Ice Cube. Yeah, yeah, yeah, y'all cheering out there, but do you want, with attitude, coming to your office? These right wingers are crazy, right, jesus. But here's the part where you all stop applauding everything I say. The truth about DEI is that, although it's well-intentioned, it's mostly garbage. Okay, it's kind of like the black little mermaid Just because racists hate it doesn't mean it's good. And you know I'm right because every one of you has sat through one of those diversity training sessions and thought this is some bullshit, and it's not just you. Over 900 studies have shown that DEI programs don't make the workplace better for minorities. In fact, it can actually make things worse because of the backlash effect. Remember DARE from school? Y'all remember DARE, yeah.

Speaker 3:

All right, that clip goes on for quite a while. Forgot to warn you about the language there. But that's Charlemagne the God talking about DEI being garbage and basically giving what he calls crazy right-wingers another reason to complain. Look, dei, the very essence of DEI is based in discrimination. I see comments on TikTok where all the liberals hang out. You aren't okay with fairness. Fairness is a farce. That's just the reality of it. If you missed earlier my rant about life not being fair, then you can go back and watch it.

Speaker 3:

But that doesn't mean you don't hire someone because of how they look. That is discrimination. If I don't hire someone because they're black and they are completely competent, that's racism, that's discrimination. The same is true if someone happens to be white or Christian or straight. If they're not hired because of that, that is blatant discrimination. The Supreme Court's already ruled that affirmative action is unconstitutional.

Speaker 3:

I am all about the best person getting the job. The problem that I encounter when people say well, that's not fair, that's not fair. It's not fair for someone who is the most qualified for a job to get it, regardless of what they look like. To me, this is steeped in racism, whether it's overt or the soft bigotry of low expectations. Basically, you are assuming that black people aren't, or minorities in general, are never going to be the most qualified to get a job and therefore you need DEI and other programs so they are able to. That is flat out racist and wrong as well. If you don't think minorities and black people are just as competent as white people, then you are wrong. It doesn't mean that every black person, every white person, every minority is the right person for every single job. But let's take it even further. If you are someone who identifies as a different gender than you were born with, you are going to get special treatment, because these companies think it looks good to have a diverse set of employees, which makes everyone feel good. It's all based on outward appearance. It is not based on the content of character, which is exactly what Reverend Martin Luther King Jr preached as the dream that people would be judged on the content of their character, not the color of their skin, not their sexuality, not their religion.

Speaker 3:

Dei is the very essence of discrimination. It actually stands for discrimination. And then add the E in the I. I haven't prepared the remarks for that, so I don't know what I'm going to say, but it is not something that is a positive for our country. And if you are white, or if you are straight, or if you are a Christian and you have tried to apply for a job any time recently, you know that they try to corral and push people toward accepting these policies, otherwise they will not be hired. Companies do not need to include DEI, certainly. They just need to hire the most competent people, period. That's what's best for business, that's what's best for the customer. To say that black people can never be the most qualified or best people for the job, that's racism and that's DEI, and so I don't buy this ever being an effective way in which to operate a company.

Speaker 3:

And in fact, this is the infiltration of liberal, woke ideology into business. You see, the government wants to get their hooks into business every which way possible. How do you do that? You create fear. If you do not comply, you will be deemed racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. They create the fear and the perception and the stigma around it, and then that is how they usher in control. This is all about controls from our government and our liberal entities that want to control things. That's really where it's at. That is what is happening. It's a liberal agenda in business to bend people to their will of accepting this ideology. It's all based on outward appearance, not the content of the character. Charlemagne is right that it is garbage, but not for the reason that he lays out, which it just gives right-wingers something to hate. That is not true. It literally goes against good business and treating people the right way, and that is hiring the most competent and best fit for the job.

Speaker 3:

Now, speaking of jobs, we move on to the state of California, where they have just instituted a $20 hourly wage, $20 minimum wage. In the state of California. You hear that and you go yeah, that sounds great. Yeah, you know, uh, people ought to get paid. Well, be careful what you wish for, because a minimum wage, uh, could result in maximum disaster because you start to price hourly workers completely out of the market.

Speaker 3:

Companies cannot afford to pay people that much because they don't bring in enough money to cover the cost. If a company doesn't make a profit and you understand, a profit is what's left over. After all, the expenses are paid if they don't make a profit, they don't survive. When your expenses are exponentially higher than they were yesterday, many companies cannot adapt and absorb that additional cost. The ones that do pass on a higher price to you and me.

Speaker 3:

It's a bad way to do business. The government should stay out of it. I understand having certain expectations and conditions about where you work and being paid your value. Not all companies see it that way If they don't leave and go find another job. This is government control, government bureaucracy that is breaking the private sector. So if you want to look at some of the results here, out on Twitter or X, endwokeness laid out these details Pizza Hut has laid off 1,200 workers. Mod's Pizza closed five of their California branches already. Foster's Freeze shut down and laid off all its employees. Vitality Bowls cut their staff in half and then hiked their menu prices by 10%. And so again, whether they stay in business or not, if they do stay in business, we are going to be encountering higher prices. Now take a look at this story from a local entity in California. I believe it's a fast food chain, and they thought it was an April Fool's joke, but unfortunately the joke was on them. Those close signs.

Speaker 5:

That was it. 20 employees in the more will let go today because the owner says he could not afford to pay them with that increase. Now employees are upset, saying they were blindsided when coming into work. Fox 26 reporter, sophia Lesios, explains why those employees were in disbelief. Sophia, what a surprise.

Speaker 7:

Yeah, Monty. Former employees tell me that at first they thought it was an April Fool's joke, but that quickly changed when their boss handed them their final check was so caught off guard um we had no type of notice, no type of warning, even um I mean the owner had told me happy easter employees at foster freeze and lamar say they're now out of a job we had gotten a text in the group chat that we were um shutting down and I completely thought it was an april fool's joke turns out, he wasn't the only one.

Speaker 7:

Did you guys think that this was an April Fool's joke? Yes, yes, yes.

Speaker 5:

I thought, like you must be joking, you must be playing with me.

Speaker 8:

But this was no joke. By the time I got here, there was people like in uniforms, ready to start their day, not knowing that they that would be their last check.

Speaker 7:

Monica Navarro, the former assistant manager, says when she got to the restaurant in the morning, the locks were being changed and employees were handed their final check.

Speaker 5:

I had walked in and he just immediately was like you guys are out of a job. Like I'm sorry.

Speaker 7:

While we were there at the Foster Freeze restaurant, owner Lauren Wright was walking out. I tried to get a statement. I think he's going to take off before we even get a chance to talk to him. Excuse me, Lauren, but he quickly drove off. Moments later I gave him a call.

Speaker 6:

Your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice message system.

Speaker 7:

He did not answer but did send a text saying in part I couldn't survive the mandated wage increases. Last thing I ever wanted was to close down, but by Friday night I knew I was most likely, was trying to be considerate, waited till after Easter and did it on April Fool's which is just bad timing in hindsight.

Speaker 3:

So it's really a sad story because you ask for a higher minimum wage and hourly workers are going to be replaced by robots. They're going to be replaced by kiosks. You see it at places like Taco Bell and McDonald's in larger cities. That's what they're doing and this is evidence once again that the government, when they get involved in private enterprise, they screw it up. They screw it up. It sounds good, it's warm and fuzzy, but when it actually goes into place the ramifications are anything but good. So again, when you understand how business works, you understand how private enterprise works supply, demand, those kinds of things and when you arbitrarily institute a mandated control on an increase of cost to that extent, then you are going to break some things, and that's exactly what has happened in the state of California. Let's get to some of your comments.

Speaker 3:

Back to the alcohol control from our government. Wally says I don't drink, but the government's gone too far. It doesn't matter which party you're in, but if Americans don't take a stand and reel in politicians, then we can kiss our country goodbye. Yeah, that's my point. I mean, if you're a teetotaler completely, you never drink. You have to see that this is still not a good thing for our country whatsoever. Cassandra Terry is in the comments saying on YouTube she doesn't drink, but maybe once in a blue moon. Does that mean that you drink a blue moon once in a blue moon? Anyway, we really have to get. She says we really are going to have prohibition during my lifetime. Did they not learn that Americans still find a way of bootlegging speakeasies, etc. Well, that's never stopped them before by creating a crazy law, because then they can put a lot of people in jail. The more laws we have, the more restrictions we have, the more control the government has.

Speaker 3:

Let's say that you're someone out on social media who happens to be conservative. You're expressing your views, you own a liquor store, you own a bar. Well, we're going to go arrest that guy. That's what happens, unfortunately. What else are we saying? Wally says $20 an hour now and supposed to be $25 an hour by 2026. The food industry just cannot withstand that.

Speaker 3:

Cassandra says sad, don't throw in the towel quite yet. Well, we're not throwing in the towel completely. We're just readjusting to be able to allow the time devoted to this content. In a certain way, that allows me to do some other things to create some revenue. I'm an entrepreneur, it's in my blood and so I have no problem figuring those things out. I just wanted to be transparent because it's going to take me away from this studio when we do these shows. You know, I have to be tied very closely to everything going on here. It's difficult to be out in quote the real world making things happen, and so we'll do it and we'll see what happens. If you know any large sponsors in the meantime, or someone who wants to, you know, impart a large grant to keep this kind of content, which I believe is very helpful.

Speaker 3:

You know I am early 40s. I think that we are speaking to not only people in their 50s and 60s, but in their 30s and 40s as well. I think there are plenty of young voices out there, like Ben Shapiro or Candace Owens or, let's say, crowder. Who else am I thinking of? The turning point guy, charlie Kirk, the Turning Point guy, charlie Kirk. But I believe I'm different than them.

Speaker 3:

I've always tried to kind of be the Rush Limbaugh for a new generation, if you will. We certainly go into more areas that Rush Limbaugh never did, as far as uncovering government lies and shining a light in that. I think there's value here. But look, it's part of the marketplace. If the marketplace wants it, the marketplace will support it in some way or another, and it just takes time. I've only been doing this about one year, and so I had hoped by now a spark would happen and things would rocket and take off. We're just not there yet, so that's okay. Again, I'm not going to define myself by things not working out exactly how I wanted it. It's about adjusting and it's just one portion of a person's journey and story. That's how you have to look at it, I think. All right. So thank you for the comments. Keep those comments coming.

Speaker 3:

We are going to be coming back with this story about Coach Staley out of South Carolina. They ended up winning in the NCAA Women's Tournament. She says that anybody who doesn't believe in God has something wrong with. Of South Carolina, they ended up winning in the NCAA women's tournament. She says that anybody who doesn't believe in God has something wrong with them. Do you agree or disagree? Also, ashley Biden's diary. We were told that it was a fake, but then why is the DOJ trying to give jail time to the woman who found it? If it was fake, what does it matter? We'll explore all that and more in our final segment coming up here on the show.

They're actually reinvesting it into their people, and you can even make money off your referrals. You can make $6 a month, every month, for anyone that you refer, if you want to get in on that. So again, go to ikewindgatecom, click on Get Q Streaming. Let's look at this next story out of South Carolina. Coach Dawn Staley is not apologizing for saying that something's wrong with you if you don't believe in God. Here's what she had to say after winning.

Speaker 1:

I'm super proud of him. I'm giving all the glory to God.

Speaker 4:

God is really funny. He's really funny. The devastating loss that we had last year to put us back here with a totally different team.

Speaker 1:

If you don't believe in God, something's wrong with you. Seriously, I'm a believer. I'm a believer because he makes things come true. When you're at your worst, he's at his best. Look at him. Look at him. I'm super proud of him.

Speaker 3:

I'm giving all the glory to God. She says that if you don't believe in God, something's wrong with you. Look around, look around. And so she's been, you know, ridiculed quite a bit for saying this. And how could she say this and say that you know there's something wrong with people? She says she's got no regrets for saying this. So what do you think about that? Drop it in the comments. I think she's absolutely right.

Speaker 3:

It doesn't mean that someone who doesn't believe in God—a lot of people that don't believe in God are too smart for their own good, believe it or not. But it doesn't mean they're idiots or stupid or worthless. It does say in the Bible, in Romans 1, that God has made his existence known to us. It is not a mystery. He's shown it to us in his creation. So what is known about God is made plain to us, for those that are in denial of his existence are denying what is very plainly made obvious.

Speaker 3:

Now, I think she stopped a little short. Actually. The reality is there's something wrong with all of us, if you really want to know it. It doesn't mean that we aren't valuable or made in the image of God and have a purpose. We all do, no matter who you are, but there is something wrong with all of us. We're coming in off the tales of Easter and the reality is that we all sin against God, every single one of us. We're all in need of saving, and the good news is that anyone anywhere can be reconciled to God, spend an eternity in heaven with Him, and that's through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the resurrection we celebrated, which proved that he was and is the Messiah, because he was resurrected, witnessed by hundreds of people, which is good news. And so you know Coach Staley's right to an extent. But there's something wrong with all of us. Apart from God's grace opening our eyes, none of us really believe in him, and so that is the truth of the matter. I admire her for standing up and not backing down for what is true, because, as we know, god's presence, god's existence, is obvious when you look around. This is not all by accident, it is not from a big bang, it is not from something just coming together organically over a billion years. So that is good news and that takes courage to say that from Coach Staley.

Speaker 3:

Would love to know what you guys think about that. I know what the liberals on TikTok will say. I should say the trolls on TikTok will deny God's very existence. But you know, by watching this show, that's my personal belief. You can watch this show and be part of this show without believing that, and that's okay. I'm not going to ridicule you or ostracize you. That is what I believe, because that is what the Bible says, which is backed up by thousands of years of evidence. But this isn't a quote religious show, but where it makes sense to insert the truth of these types of matters, I'm going to take the opportunity not to preach at you, not to ridicule or beat you down, browbeat you, but to do my duty as someone who has to be ready to give an account for the hope that is found within me. That is something that changed my life, not something I was looking for per se, and so I can't deny it.

Speaker 3:

Let's put it that way, all right, the Biden diary. Ashley Biden, joe Biden's daughter, you might recall, had a diary. Joe Biden's daughter, you might recall, had a diary, an alleged diary that was discovered. In this diary it spelled out how her dad made her take showers with him. She asked was I molested in there? Et cetera, et cetera. At a young age, she says, taking showers with her father. People on the internet are like there's nothing wrong with dads and daughters taking showers. I beg to differ. That's freaking weird, whether it's someone at a very young age or someone who's nine or 10 or whatever. Yeah, I think that's ridiculous.

Speaker 3:

And so if this diary, though, is fake that's what the Bidens have claimed it is fake. It is not real, it's completely made up. If that's the case, then why is the Department of Justice for Joe Biden trying to pursue jail time for the woman who found the diary? Why are we calling it her diary if it's not real at all? Why would someone be threatened with jail time if it's not real? It's not real.

Speaker 3:

The Justice Department on Tuesday asked a New York district judge to sentence this woman who stole first daughter Ashley Biden's diary, to four to 10 months in prison for the crime. Allegedly, this woman, amy Harris, moved into the apartment that Ashley Biden had previously lived in and found, according to Harris, a diary, a cell phone and some other items hidden underneath a mattress, and the DOJ says she stole it and that it was real. Otherwise, how do you prosecute a crime for something that doesn't exist? Also, it begs the question what is with the Bidens leaving important things behind. Think about Hunter Biden leaving the laptop from hell in that Mac store to be worked on discovering all kinds of items that were damning, incriminating. They denied the existence of that and the authenticity of that, but we know through the FBI whistleblowers I should say the IRS whistleblowers they confirmed from the FBI that they authenticated this laptop back in 2019 using Hunter Biden's Apple ID. They confirmed it was all real.

Speaker 3:

Just to take you back into history the following year, in 2020, during the presidential debate, joe Biden defended this, saying it was Russian propaganda. Donald Trump brought it up, the laptop and then Joe Biden touted a letter from over 50 former US intelligence officials that said this had all the markings of Russian disinformation. At that very time in 2020, one year prior to that, the FBI had authenticated this very laptop. So we know, based on emails to the Biden campaign from Antony Blinken, who was working on the campaign at the time, to some various former intelligence officials, like Mike Murrell and one of the other guys can't remember his name, the guy who used to run the whole thing, brennan John Brennan they actually emailed him and said we're trying to put some talking points together on this laptop for the debate coming up on Thursday. They spelled it all out and then they had all these people sign it. They all knew. Many of them knew that this was incorrect. Even if they had one conversation with someone at the FBI, they would have known. So the Bidens lied about that said it wasn't his. It was authenticated.

Speaker 3:

The Bidens are they lying now when they say that Ashley Biden's diary is a fake? If so, the DOJ is completely contradicting them in that they are trying to go after the woman who allegedly stole it. She claims she found it. If it's not real, there wouldn't be a case here whatsoever. Now we see some comments over on Twitter about this. They're trying to sentence her to prison along with three years of release. That's what Proud Army Brat says over on X. She claims that Harris came across this diary, tax records, family photographs and her cell phone in 2020 during a stay at a home in Delray Beach, florida, where Joe Biden's daughter had previously been living. The DOJ says a sentence involving no period of incarceration would be wholly insufficient to reflect the gravity of the defendant's conduct.

Speaker 3:

Found under a mattress, the entire dysfunctional family leaves their crap everywhere, then complain when it's found and claim that it's not real, and so we're showing some of the images of the alleged diary on our screen where she says she was hyper-sexualized at a young age. She says what is this due to? Was I molested? I think so. I can't be more specific, but I do remember trauma. I remember not liking the Woolzacks house. I remember somewhat being sexualized with Caroline. I remember having sex with friends at a young age and showers with my dad in parentheses probably not appropriate and so these are the images that came from this.

Speaker 3:

You don't have to stretch your mind very far to get to a place where it's believable or possible that Joe Biden is like this. Look at the way he smells, caresses children in public. He was alleged to have raped Tara Reid. She has since fled the country for her safety. This story was corroborated at the time in the early 90s, when she was a Senate staffer. She had told her mother. Her mother actually called into Larry King, but wouldn't reveal the identity of Senator Biden at the time. So the details match up from way back then. Of course, once he decided to run for president, you have some of these things come out, and so it's not a stretch for me to believe that this is all real just by this guy's very creepy, disgusting demeanor when it comes to the way he acts around children.

Speaker 3:

You've seen the clips. If you haven't seen the montages on the interwebs, they're not hard. Well, it takes a little bit of digging but there's multiple clips. There's multiple clips. I remember when he was rubbing the shoulders of a wife of someone that they had confirmed when he was vice president. It was so weird. This lady was completely uncomfortable. There was no doubt about it. So none of this is a stretch for me to believe. Look, if they're trying to prosecute this, then it has to be real. I don't see any other way of getting around that truth, if you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3:

All right, well, I appreciate the gifts over on TikTok coming in. Let's see, let's see here. Cassandra says she loves watching the show. She found me on TikTok a while back. Thank you for being here. Glad you are here, dave.

Speaker 3:

And Penny says love this comment. The Bidens love leaving things behind, especially the American people. Well said, david, penny, that's a good one. Wally says I believe the diary is real. I hate to think about another person. I hate to think this about another person, but you hear disgusting news about things like this all the time. Yeah, that's the unfortunate world that we live in. All right, we're about to wrap up the show today.

Speaker 3:
