Speaker 1:

Speaker 2:

Tinkerbell the dog, and I'm her little sister, belle, and this is our podcast.

Speaker 1:

Fierce fabulous fluff talking about stuff, gossip Pups. Fierce fabulous fluff talking about stuff, gossip.

Speaker 2:

Pops Happy.

Speaker 3:

Friday everyone, I'm Tinkerbell.

Speaker 2:

And I'm Belle, and welcome to Gossip Pops. Season 2, episode 27. Season 2, episode 27. 27, that sounds like a song. 27. Also known as episode 79. Ventasiete, ventasiete, ventasiete, that sounds like a song. Ventasiete, also known as Episode 79. Wow, we're on a roll. We totally are. Wow, time flies it really does. I know, I can't believe it's another Friday. Friday is here. Hope you all had a fabulous and fierce week yeah.

Speaker 1:

And happy 4th.

Speaker 3:

Oh, happy 4th you have so much to talk about.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I bet you're still hearing fireworks.

Speaker 3:

How's your week otherwise, Belle? How are you feeling this morning?

Speaker 2:

I'm feeling good. I had my breakfast. I'm going to go take a nap after this. I'm great. How are you doing, tinker? You know I'm pretty good. I'm pretty tired, girly.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, let's not talk about that. Oh my goodness, I'm never allowed to talk about anything. I'm pretty tired girly.

Speaker 2:

Yeah well, let's not talk about that. Oh, my goodness, I'm never allowed to talk about anything. I'm so tired of this.

Speaker 3:

Who's in charge of this podcast? We have to go in order. I wasn't going to bring up anything Every time.

Speaker 2:

This is exactly what happens.

Speaker 3:

Fine, go. And Belle jumps on me making sure I don't speak of the things that happened in order or not in order.

Speaker 2:

Have to go in order. Oh, belle, okay, I'll be quiet, I'm just saying we're just tired.

Speaker 3:

That's what you're saying, my tired girl. We had a wild night last night, which we will discuss in order.

Speaker 2:

Yes, in order Monday through Friday.

Speaker 3:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Anyway. So let's banter.

Speaker 3:

I guess I can't even recap I don't even remember what happened last week.

Speaker 2:

I know, you know how I remember. I take notes All week long. You take notes with those paws, I do. Okay then, Not a lot. Well, a lot sort of, but not a lot.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so a lot sort of but not a lot, okay.

Speaker 2:

So we kicked off the week with another audition Always auditioning, always auditioning, it's how it goes. Then we shot our content. We received a package of goodies from our friends at Parisian Pets.

Speaker 3:

Thank, you Parisian Pets yeah. Yeah there were some like fabulous goodies in there.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, a couple of were some like fabulous goodies in there.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, a couple of dresses Very nice.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, what was your favorite item? My dress, the one dress.

Speaker 3:

Without the that pulls over my head without the straps. I kind of like the dress as well.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Thank you, parisian Pets yeah, thanks.

Speaker 2:

Parisian Pets. So you all saw that. That was posted on Stories. Then we shot our part two of our Big Tweezer man campaign. Yes, we did, submitted that for approval. Red green light says go, yes, we got the approval, but you won't see it until the 15th.

Speaker 3:

My fancy paws did some fancy editing Fancy paws.

Speaker 2:

Fancy paws? Yeah, and they liked it. They liked it, but you won't see us on that until the 15th. What else? Oh, yeah, I made an appearance. Human got some presents in the mail from Cozy Earth and I made an appearance. Human got some presents in the mail from Cozy Earth and I made an appearance in her social media video. That was fun. We pretended we were going out with our luggage. Yeah, and what else? Okay, then we had a bath, of course.

Speaker 3:

Oh, the baths.

Speaker 2:

And then the big day happened yesterday. So that's it. That's all that happened in the week. Do you hear that?

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Is that a bird?

Speaker 1:

Wait.

Speaker 2:

What is that? I don't know, I wonder if everyone hears it. Oh, definitely.

Speaker 3:

Is it a bird? I don't know. I wonder if everyone hears it.

Speaker 2:

Oh, definitely, is it a bird.

Speaker 3:

I don't know, is it an owl, maybe a bird? Very, strange. You know who I don't hear today.

Speaker 2:

Chef de la, don't bring him up. The intruder Anyway. So yesterday we had our big day, so the Empire.

Speaker 1:

State.

Speaker 2:

Building throws this huge party that you can attend and pay lots of money to attend, and because we're the official pups of the building, we get to go for free. For free and for appearance purposes and to make everyone happy Before the fireworks. So it's really nice. There's um, they take over. Well, first, they put everyone on the one floor and they have like a party Yesterday.

Speaker 3:

Belle, you just inhaled it's from the partying. Oh, the partying, it's just getting to you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so they put all of the guests on this one floor that is just for these guests and they have a party and they had snow cones, they had cotton candy, they had mini sliders, they had mini hot dogs, they had a DJ. They had a great DJ. He was fabulous. We danced with him. They had well. If people drink alcohol, they can have unlimited alcohol.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, wine, beer, champagne. Water and juice which.

Speaker 2:

I found very strange.

Speaker 3:

How did juice get in the mix there?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I didn't understand that there's no soda.

Speaker 3:

No soda, but you can have juice.

Speaker 2:

I'm like I don't want a juice, thanks. So what else? Did I miss anything on the floor besides the party and the DJ and the snow cones and the cotton candy sliders? Hot dogs, cupcakes, hot dogs, cupcakes. Oh yes, the cupcakes, the cupcakes. Can I say something about them?

Speaker 3:

yeah, we can talk about the cupcakes, because I have a comment about the cupcake okay, these cupcakes look like they went to the local stop and shop that's a hundred percent true. They actually look very similar to the cupcakes from yeah, like your neighborhood grocery store and they're mini.

Speaker 2:

They're not big, they're mini like those bite-sized guys. I'm sorry those look like those um maybe even like a costco or something yeah, they're definitely.

Speaker 3:

They looked like Costco cupcakes.

Speaker 2:

Not that that's bad, I mean Not bad. Don't know what they taste like, but I couldn't have any either. They look a little. I'm a mere pup. Yeah, we didn't eat them.

Speaker 3:

But they looked a little, but they definitely looked like not, not like bakery, yeah, like not.

Speaker 2:

Not a real bakery. Yeah, like not the top of the Empire State Building level.

Speaker 3:

cupcakes yeah.

Speaker 2:

I mean, the sliders looked very nice on these little squishy buns, the burgers and the hot dogs and everything looked and they were mini. Everything was like mini.

Speaker 3:

But they did also have a hot dog cart.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that was nice, Like a legit huge hot dog cart A real hot dog cart, like when we were at Donald Duck, like when that hot dog cart was there. It was a real and I don't know how they. I guess it goes in the elevator. I don't know how they got it up there.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know how did they get anything up there in that floor? I?

Speaker 2:

don't know, is it a different elevator than we ever go in?

Speaker 3:

Probably. But we have to tell you what happened before that. So it was really funny.

Speaker 2:

So we go in a secret entrance at the entire state building oh my goodness. And no one knows we're there because we don't go in the main entrance, we go in a secret entrance. But everybody who works in the building knows us. They're like hi, hi, hi. So this gentleman comes and he's like you're going to lose the sun, let's go. And he goes to take us up.

Speaker 3:

He was very nice, he was like the manager of the building or something oh, because we were waiting for our main liaison escort to come down, but she was, there was yeah, there was no, we just were confused because it was time had passed yeah, the time had passed right and he was worried.

Speaker 2:

We were anxious because we wanted to get our content and he was worried, so and we were anxious because we wanted to get our content and he was worried, so he's like let's go. I'll take you upstairs, so he takes us to another door and I was like this isn't the door we usually go through. Well, what happened? We got locked in.

Speaker 3:

We got locked in with this gentleman in a hallway in the Empire State Building and we couldn't get out.

Speaker 2:

And he has a pass to go anywhere but the door wouldn't open.

Speaker 3:

Even the pass kept going green and saying the door is open, but the door was locked.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and we couldn't get out. And then I was like, wait, this is the way that the guests who like the building come in. So he's like, well, and he kept trying to get the door to work. You know, when it works we were locked in, but then we were able to get out the door and we had to walk all the way around the block.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so for context, because I don't know if that makes sense. Maybe it does, but OK. So there was one door that was locked and we couldn't get back right out into the back, into the building right so we're completely locked out, and then the only other door option was all the way at the other end, which led us to the street, not to fifth avenue to the side street to the side street where we would have to run around the entire building.

Speaker 2:

So he was like, let's keep trying the door, because he didn't want to run around the entire building. So he was like let's keep trying the door, because he didn't want to run around. He didn't want us running around in the heat.

Speaker 3:

So, needless to say, we ran around the building.

Speaker 2:

We had to go all the way around and everybody saw us Us and this gentleman running like wackos all the way around Fifth Avenue, back in the Fifth Avenue entrance, and it was just crazy.

Speaker 3:

It was wild. But for a moment there I thought we were completely locked in and I said, oh, we're going to miss the fireworks, we're going to be in here for a while.

Speaker 2:

We were quite a while.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it actually was.

Speaker 2:

Because he was not giving up on that door. Yeah, so we were in there quite a while. Yeah, it actually was, because he was not giving up on that door yeah. So we were in there quite a while, so that was really funny.

Speaker 3:

But thank goodness we weren't really locked in there. No Like completely.

Speaker 2:

He thought so Well, he also didn't want us to go in the heat again. Oh well, yeah, so then. So that's what happened, we went all the way around back in our secret Fifth Avenue entrance, and then we wait a few minutes and finally our liaison shows up.

Speaker 3:

Our liaison.

Speaker 2:

And takes us upstairs and we're like, hey, you're really late.

Speaker 1:

Can we go?

Speaker 2:

outside first Because we're going to lose the light, like the gentleman told you. So she's like okay, so we go up, told you. So she's like okay, so we go up there and she's like you have 10 minutes. And we were like 10 minutes, what the heck?

Speaker 3:

because it was so timed and we were already so late for the party. Everything is kind of it's very intense there which makes sense because, it's the empire. State Building, the most famous building in the world.

Speaker 2:

Yes, it is, security is high. Number one tourist attraction in the whole world is the Empire State Building.

Speaker 3:

And we are the official pups? Yeah, and we got to go to the floor. Nobody was there we had 10 minutes, but there was no one else there, it was just us.

Speaker 2:

Just us Out there on an 86. Can you believe that we have the entire empire. We just go wherever we want.

Speaker 3:

I think it's so cool two pups just on top, like on top, taking photos. It's like your own, it was our own private photo shoot.

Speaker 2:

I know and you want to hear a secret. Shoot. The empire state building is not pet friendly.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, this is where it gets confusing everyone. Yes, because, and we're sorry to lead you astray.

Speaker 2:

Yes, we don't mean to, but we're not relinquishing our title.

Speaker 3:

No.

Speaker 2:

Right, so just FYI. I don't know who I and how we're the official pups, but we are. I don't know who I and how we're the official pups, but we are. Even the president comes and talks to us. He loves us, jean-yves.

Speaker 3:

Jean-Yves.

Speaker 2:

He loves us.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

So we're the official pups of a non-pet-friendly building, right.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, is that how you say?

Speaker 2:

it? I guess so, but I don't care, but we don't care, but it's us, because it's us, yeah and okay, so we went there. Then she's like okay, come on, we got to get you into the party because there's all people yes, then we go to the party and it was blasting wild boom, boom, boom with music music blasting food everywhere people people coming to talk to us people, taking pictures of us people taking pictures of us People, taking videos of us People talking to us People.

Speaker 2:

And I was like guys, I just want a snow cone. So finally I got a snow cone. Oh, it was so good, delicious. And then Tin gets hers and what does she do? Yawns and snubs it, yep.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but then I'm the type of girly that you know. I like the idea of the snow cone and when it's being made, but then all of a sudden it just deflates and gets watery and it's not good anymore.

Speaker 2:

And they had these fancy star shots. No, it's true, I get it. And all the sauce is on the bottom.

Speaker 3:

It looks so good for about five seconds, and then it just goes downhill.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it looked good for a quick video or photo.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but you enjoyed it.

Speaker 2:

I did. I like everything. I even drank their water Delicious. And then wait, I was going to say something, oh yes, about the snow cone girl. Yeah, so she was hoarding these beautiful straws.

Speaker 3:

I don't know if it's hoarding, is it? Well, what was she doing with them? She?

Speaker 2:

was, so all the people were getting snow cones and she was just sticking a spoon in them and giving it to them. And then me, with my eyes, spots these beautiful straws that are shaped like stars on them. They're like red or they're white or they're blue. So she goes to give me my snow cone and puts a spoon in it. First of all, I can't eat with that spoon, lady.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I think yeah. So I spotted it and I said I want one of those. So she goes oh, you want this in your snow cone. And I was like uh, don't you think I could have that better than a spoon?

Speaker 1:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker 2:

So and I said, and tink ones, one, two please. So I did, I got one.

Speaker 3:

I didn't know what she was doing with them though they were all just sitting there, those beautiful straws. Yeah, and no one knew to ask for one. No one knew to get one.

Speaker 2:

Maybe if there were children at the event, but nobody's paying. The lease price was $550. Nobody's paying $550, I think, for a kid to be there. There was one kid there One.

Speaker 3:

That was it. There was no other kids.

Speaker 2:

No kids, all adults.

Speaker 3:

This was a par-tay.

Speaker 2:

And they were par-taying. They were drinking up a storm, this crowd.

Speaker 3:

Oh yes.

Speaker 2:

So different than last year.

Speaker 3:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Very different crowd.

Speaker 1:

They were all very nice and friendly.

Speaker 2:

When we were dancing down there with them Down there it was fine, yeah, but then as it progressed, they got a little woo.

Speaker 3:

Got a little, you know, intense yeah.

Speaker 2:

It's an interesting vibe. So anyway, we went up to then, back up to 86, because it was on fire x time and we like no, we don't like this, let's go all the way upstairs yeah, we tried to give 86 a little whirl and because we never did it we never did it, and it was not not for us. Nope, no, 102 is where it's at 102, is it so up, so up we go. And now all these people, they're all a little drunk now and it's hot up there.

Speaker 3:

So if y'all haven't been up there it's all glass. It's hot, but the only reason it's hot is because it's more amount of people than usual. But actually it wasn't crowded.

Speaker 2:

No, it really wasn't crowded up there, it's just because, everyone Because it was like a million dollars to be up there.

Speaker 1:

Really seriously.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it wasn't, if you were going up there, you had to pay like $12,000 or something.

Speaker 3:

It wasn't crowded, it was just the matter of like everyone wanted to be on one side of it, yes, so it was just like compact, but then you could walk away and like, literally, you had space to you could have done like cartwheels.

Speaker 2:

It wasn't overcrowded or overpopulated or anything like that, but the people up there were not like last year's. People were all Tink and Bell followers, which I don't know how they got up there, but they were and we had like a party up there.

Speaker 3:

It was a party up there. It was really fun.

Speaker 2:

It was so much fun. They were dancing and singing. This crowd was just testy and drinking and staring out the window, so oddly.

Speaker 3:

It was so weird, it was a weird vibe.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but it's okay, we're on the floor, we go on the floor to do our content, so, whatever we got it, it was great. Macy's, thank you for the beautiful fireworks. The new location was great.

Speaker 3:

I actually preferred it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, the water's wider there.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's wider and also I don't know if it's a wind thing in July, but when we've watched it from the east side, the east river the east river every time about, maybe like halfway through the fireworks. Yes, there would be some the smoke. Smoke would build so much that it was hard to see the end of the the show yes but then on this side we saw the whole show, the whole show no smoke, no smoke, clearly. So I don't know if it's because the wind is going west. Maybe, so that's, why.

Speaker 2:

And you know what else we had?

Speaker 3:

the other view, so we got to see the whole thing, yeah.

Speaker 2:

But you know what else? I did not see this at the east side what? The barge had a countdown of a big number and it was like five, four, three, two, one the east side.

Speaker 3:

I don't remember that I don't think we could see it because we were so high up we didn't see the river. Really, where here we?

Speaker 2:

had a better, like a bird's eye view almost oh, so that's why we saw the countdown, yeah, oh well, I liked it was really cool and at first I was like oh gosh, it's gonna be so far away from us. But it really wasn't. I guess I kind of liked it better because I saw all the pretty city building lights yeah, underneath us exactly and it just looked like really really cool, like like you're in like star wars or something down there. It was really cool to see those lights.

Speaker 3:

What do you think of real fireworks compared to drone fireworks? The big fight now.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, everything is drones now. I don't know. I like the real ones.

Speaker 3:

Me too. I like, like the sound, I like to see them go up from down.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they go like that. Mm-hmm, I like the see them go up from down. Yeah, they go like that. I like the real ones.

Speaker 3:

Something about like authenticity.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, stop this AI stuff.

Speaker 3:

AI drone fireworks Like, then you don't get the sound, you don't get.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and then last night after the fireworks it was midnight and we saw giant fireworks out still.

Speaker 3:

It was really cool.

Speaker 2:

It was really, really cool that it continued with big. I mean Macy's didn't continue, but somehow some people were having big, beautiful fireworks shows at midnight. It was really cool.

Speaker 3:

How did it feel not going back to your suite or something this time bell?

Speaker 2:

I was not happy, you weren't, I mean okay. So this is the first year in my whole life that I actually am only three, but I've seen four fireworks there now because, I saw the first one when I wasn't even one zero when I was zero, and that was my favorite because not because it was the first one, but because Macy shot the fireworks off the Empire State Building yeah, that, that was the best that was pretty epic and we had the fireworks on us, like that was my favorite, but a lot of on but yeah on us, like right in front of us, like at our glass window.

Speaker 2:

I touched them, I mean not touched them but I could feel like I touched them. So the tradition has been that we have a hotel partner who gives us a giant sweep to celebrate the 4th of July, and then we go back to the suite and have our own little celebration sweep to celebrate the 4th of July, and then we go back to the suite and have our own little celebration. Well, we didn't do it this time.

Speaker 1:

We wanted to do something different and we came home.

Speaker 2:

I prefer the suite, just saying.

Speaker 3:

Me too, honestly.

Speaker 2:

We thought it was going to be great. Let's go there and that's it.

Speaker 3:

We kind of changed it Because also it wouldn't be as wild to get back to our place of home, because the side was different. Yeah, because everything was on the Jersey side, the west side, yeah, not the east side.

Speaker 2:

And it wasn't bad, but it was to get to. You know, there was no traffic, there were no people walking around the east side.

Speaker 3:

It was really cool it was actually cool to walk out of the Empire State Building after everything and it wasn't like people shoulder to shoulder, because that's what it usually is. It's so wild.

Speaker 2:

Yes, and it's like we're fighting to get to our suite.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we're fighting just to go a couple blocks to our suite.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but no fighting at all. Yeah, so I don't know.

Speaker 3:

I kind of like sleeping in my own bed.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I do too, but I always prefer a suite, but then we could have done gossip. Wait, did we do gossip?

Speaker 3:

We could have done Wait, did we?

Speaker 2:

do gossip. We must have done it last year.

Speaker 3:

No, because 4th of July was on a different day.

Speaker 2:

Oh, it wasn't a Thursday. Yeah, I think it was like a.

Speaker 3:

Sunday or something.

Speaker 2:

So we were home to talk about it. But there's just something about being treated like a queen when you return from the fireworks July 4th.

Speaker 3:

Actually last year was on a Tuesday, so no, we did not do.

Speaker 2:

And they always have presents for us in these suites and like we come back from a day and there's always foods and snacks and presents and treats and drinks and toys, I don't know. I guess it's different. We changed it up, we did change it up. Maybe we'll do it again different another time. Maybe we won't go to the fireworks again, who knows, we'll see. Maybe We'll see how it goes. I know Things always change. Yeah, like the group was very different than last year. That was at the party Upstairs anyway.

Speaker 1:

The big spenders were different.

Speaker 2:

The big spenders were just a different vibe. Yeah, they weren't into the fun party, they were just staring out the window with their drink. Yeah, yeah, whatever, it's okay. We had fun and everybody loved that we were there, so that's all that counts.

Speaker 3:

Exactly Right.

Speaker 2:

Well, I think this was a long banter.

Speaker 3:

It really was.

Speaker 2:

You better get on to the poppin'. I think we should pop it over to pop culture.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we're poppin' to think I have to tell you though Uh-oh, pop culture is not poppin' Because it's 4th of July.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I know, celebrities have taken off they gave their publicists off, so they don't tell anything.

Speaker 3:

But we can recap everything that's happened with the queen, because that was a lot.

Speaker 2:

Can I just say, this coffee cup is strange.

Speaker 3:

Guys, we're using different coffee cups today Because ours are dirty.

Speaker 2:

You hear that that's how it has to open. It's like I have to fight with it to get a sip.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Whatever, okay, this is from.

Speaker 3:

I'm almost on empty. I'd have to hit pause and go refill my coffee.

Speaker 2:

We don't do that. Okay, go ahead, rude.

Speaker 3:

Okay, where do we start with the queen? Do you have anything to say, belle?

Speaker 2:

I do actually.

Speaker 3:

Well, I think we should start with the biggest thing that happened.

Speaker 2:

Since last Friday, since last Friday.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

Was that Travis Kelsey joined Taylor Swift on stage?

Speaker 2:

Yes. During the ERA's tour that's what I had, a comment on.

Speaker 3:

And the story is that travis kelsey was the mastermind behind his hilarious eras tour cameo at wembley stadium. Oh goodness, so about his onstage debut with Taylor Swift and how it came to be.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

He revealed that he was the one who first pitched it to his superstar girlfriend and okay, can I just? Stab you there, although she may have made a few tweaks to his plan. Well, can I at least give the facts.

Speaker 2:

Yes, but can I say, I told you so. Okay go Give the facts.

Speaker 3:

Well, he apparently told Tay, that's what he says.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he calls her Tay.

Speaker 3:

He was like how funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 era? Okay, my first question is there's bikes in 1989 era I never saw them. Why do I have never seen them in the live stream? We need to see this. I don't understand. I don't understand. I don't understand where the bikes even came from. Are there bikes? Are we am?

Speaker 2:

I crazy. I wasn't sure if there were bikes, or he just said maybe he would ride a bike across, but there apparently are bikes. When? When are there bikes? I don't know, because I want to know exactly what phrase that's on of the song and I want to know which song.

Speaker 3:

Shake it Off no.

Speaker 2:

No, you wouldn't shake it off on a bike.

Speaker 3:

Blank Space Like where are the bikes? Can you please find them?

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Okay, everyone hold for bike riding. Maybe he just said like one of the bikes on stage. Oh, so there are what song?

Speaker 2:

How do bikes make this line up?

Speaker 3:

Oh no, Belle's googling yeah.

Speaker 2:

So those glowing bikes in the 1989 section look like they're straight out of Tron and I want one. Someone says so they're like. I'll get a pull up a video.

Speaker 3:

Okay, but don't have the sound on, because then we will get flagged.

Speaker 2:

Here they are. Look at them all. Why have we never seen them?

Speaker 3:

When are those? What song is this? Put it to your ear, so you.

Speaker 2:

Sorry, I got scared. I heard the sound.

Speaker 3:

It's Blank Space. Yeah, I see the bikes. Okay, so he wanted to be on a bike yeah during that and she said no, um well, no, she didn't say no, but she figured she started laughing and she was like would you seriously be up for doing something like that? I was just like I would love to do that. Are you kidding me? I've seen show enough Might as well. Put me to work here, oh. And sure enough, she found the perfect part of the show for me to come in. That's what he said.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

She vetoed the bike riding bit and she decided to have him end up appearing in I Can Do it With a Broken Heart during the Tortured Poets Department, set as one of her backup dancers, theatrically coaxing her to keep performing even though she is totally drained after singing the smallest, the smallest man who ever lived. There was no bike in case I ran into somebody else or hit one of the dancers, travis explained, laughing. It was the safest option.

Speaker 2:

Yep.

Speaker 3:

So then he did tell himself this is the big line that everyone's talking about do not drop the baby. The golden rule was do not drop Taylor. Get her to the couch safely.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

Very true. And then he gave a shout out to Tay For letting him jump up on stage with her.

Speaker 2:

So so All I'm going to say is I told you so because I knew. That was never Taylor's idea. I told you he's an opportunist, uh oh, and he's been tryingist, Uh-oh, and he's been trying to get in there and he finally persuaded her and she thinks, oh, he's so funny, he's so cute, blah, blah, blah.

Speaker 3:

No, this is for himself, I mean it made pretty big headlines.

Speaker 2:

Yep for himself.

Speaker 3:

I really hope not.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, I'm into the.

Speaker 3:

TNT.

Speaker 2:

So was I, and every time there's just something happens and I'm like not good or cringe, or this was not his idea, and I knew, I knew.

Speaker 3:

No, not her idea.

Speaker 2:

No, not her idea. Yeah, and I knew it. I said it as soon as it happened. I said this was all on him. He wanted to be on that stage.

Speaker 3:

He's really got her wrapped around his finger.

Speaker 2:

Yes, he does. And boy is he going to be in trouble if anything happens, Because the Swifties are going to kill him.

Speaker 1:

And I will be first on line If anything happens, because the Swifties are going to kill him.

Speaker 2:

Oh, he's going to and I will be first on line Because I just I don't know it's really, it's very manipulative. Do you call it?

Speaker 3:

I mean, I see what you're saying, it seems a little, it seems a little obvious Self-serving.

Speaker 1:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker 2:

I don't know I still got the jury out again about him.

Speaker 3:

I mean, he's very he likes the spotlight, he likes doing all that performing. Yeah, oh goodness.

Speaker 2:

And his way is to make Taylor.

Speaker 3:

A year ago today, he was just making friendship bracelets.

Speaker 2:

A year ago today he was trying to get, trying to give her his number.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and now he's on the stage with her, I know.

Speaker 2:

Big mistake, Taylor. Whatever Did you hear that no?

Speaker 3:

I heard the owl before. Now I'm hearing this other sound. Nope, I don't hear it anymore.

Speaker 2:

Anyway, I only heard the owl before.

Speaker 3:

So I know that you are not happy about this.

Speaker 2:

Not happy about this.

Speaker 3:

Well, we have, let's just, I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Speaker 2:

I've been trying, I'm still trying.

Speaker 3:

Well, did you see next story about this whole Eros tour and all the updates? How, in Dublin, he showed up to the show where Stevie. Nicks was at it and Julia Roberts, yes. Show where Stevie Nicks was at it and Julia Roberts, yes. And when he arrived Taylor Swift saw when he arrived, apparently, and her face like lit up, like this huge smile. She was so happy that he got there well everybody, there's all these videos of her.

Speaker 2:

All the Swifties are saying that, but we don't know for sure.

Speaker 3:

It's that oh well, it kind of. I watched the video. It does look like that, but who knows exactly?

Speaker 2:

we don't know. A lot of things look like something and they're not.

Speaker 3:

We don't know for sure true well, that's that's the narrative going on, but did you see?

Speaker 2:

the swifties are mad at julia I know that was my next story. Sorry, go well, yeah, the swifties are a little mad.

Speaker 3:

Well, yeah, the Swifties are a little mad at Julia Roberts, and it all stems from well. Also, it stems from their interaction under the tent.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

And also a lip reader actually revealed what Julia Roberts allegedly said to Travis Kelsey. Oh those lip readers there? Yes, so apparently Julia Roberts was gushing over Travis Kelsey's relationship with Taylor Swift during the new viral handsy video. They call it because she was all over, travis, apparently.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I saw it.

Speaker 3:

Apparently, she's told him I'm so unusually happy for you guys, and I don't mean to make you nervous, but it makes me so happy. That's what roberts allegedly said, according to the lip reader, and that video has gone viral now also in the video, she's touching travis his chest and everything and being very handy and the swifties are not happy about it. Not happy they. They slammed roberts for getting touchy fe. Why is she scratching his chest and pushing herself into him? He is so uncomfortable trying to push her off and she holds him up.

Speaker 1:

Maybe she was tipsy.

Speaker 2:

This is uber strange. Maybe, Wait, but can I ask?

Speaker 3:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Did we ever know they were friends, Julia Roberts and Taylor.

Speaker 3:

Swift. I don't even know if Julia Roberts is friends, maybe it's just like. That's like saying like anyone super famous, if they reached out to Taylor Swift, they probably would get into the tent and get in a different random country.

Speaker 2:

Like what is she doing there? I'm so confused why she was there.

Speaker 3:

Maybe she's friends with Stevie Nicks. Why was Stevie Nicks there? Stevie Nicks lives in Dublin. Why were they in?

Speaker 2:

Dublin, no, but does Stevie Nicks live in London or something?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but then why didn't she go to London? Why did she go to Dublin?

Speaker 2:

Probably because Taylor's tent was full in London. So she said you can come to Dublin, which is like a train ride away.

Speaker 3:

So she was a B-lister, yeah, like not an A-lister for London, I would think. So what, stevie Nicks, are you kidding? No, I think maybe they just picked a city that they want to go to.

Speaker 2:

Oh, maybe I don't know. I just found it strange. Julia Roberts was there. I was like who are you? Why are you there? Do you even know who Taylor is? I guess?

Speaker 3:

they're friends.

Speaker 2:

I didn't know that.

Speaker 3:

Well, she is trying to make friends with Academy Award winning actors because she's going to be directing an Academy Award winning film at some point.

Speaker 2:

Did you think she brought Julia Roberts here? Maybe she reached out.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, maybe she wants Julia Roberts here. You mean, maybe she reached out. Yeah, maybe she wants Julia Roberts to be in something of hers in the future. So she's making the connection now.

Speaker 2:

Smart businesswoman Well, yes, we know she's that. Sometimes, smart queen, the boyfriends come into play. Maybe she's going to have Julia play an older her.

Speaker 3:

Maybe, maybe, yeah, you never know, never know. There's always a reason, always a reason. Maybe that's who she wants to be in her film, I don't know. Yeah, I don't know if it's an older her.

Speaker 2:

Whatever?

Speaker 3:

You think Taylor's going to do a movie about herself?

Speaker 2:

No.

Speaker 3:

I don't think so. She's going to do a movie about herself?

Speaker 2:

No, I don't think so. She's going to do something artistic, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Travis would do that. She's going to do something creative, artistic, maybe based, maybe a little inspired by her or something Could be inspired by her music Like yeah, like the All Too Well video, but I don't think something like the story of Taylor Swift.

Speaker 2:

No, no, I don't think so, I'm just saying and do you think Taylor's still coming to Broadway?

Speaker 3:

Yep, the Female Rage, the Musical.

Speaker 2:

I do.

Speaker 3:

Okay, just wanted to get your temperature. Taylor's coming.

Speaker 2:

But Broadway's not big enough, the temperature for that. It's too small here the amount of shows she sells out in the USA Every show, Okay. So everybody who doesn't know, Broadway picture the largest Broadway theater house is only not even an eighth of one arena, a stadium, yeah. So that means if she's selling out one night, she would need to have for that one night at least eight to ten Broadway show days to sell the same amount of tickets. It's crazy. She's doing something, but I don't know what.

Speaker 3:

Yes, we'll see, we'll see, we'll see. Okay, so my last story about taylor the queen queen was just about how, after the shows um in dublin that they went out in to a dublin bar yes, they did taylor swift, travis kelsey, stevie nicks and paramore yeah and the bar it was called hacienda bar in dublin, ireland, and they actually posted. Do you want to see what they posted? Do you want to hear it? Yeah, their caption. Yeah, do you know this, arati, I do.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I know everything.

Speaker 3:

Let's go Well anyway. They just said how it was such a warm and genuinely friendly night and that they did not request their usual Hacienda photo, because apparently that's the trend for this bar there's a hacienda photo. Um, because they wanted to allow taylor and friends the chance to properly relax and enjoy their well-deserved time off so that was nice it was very nice.

Speaker 2:

they said that the this place what do you call it a pub? That the pub was. Everyone was so accommodating and nice. They had a good time. Apparently, apparently, the Stevie Nicks lady maybe knew it. Wow, maybe the Stevie Nicks lady knows the owner.

Speaker 3:

I think that's epic, that Stevie Nicks went to the show.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if I know what she sings Fleetwood Mac, I've heard of that.

Speaker 3:

Landslide, the most epic Landslide, the most epic song How's it? Go Landslide down and down.

Speaker 2:

Maybe Don't know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

I know of them. You're three years old.

Speaker 3:

I know of them.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, but they apparently had fun there, the most epic. If I was sitting with Stevie Nicks, taylor and Travis, I don't even know if I could drink my water out of my glass properly. Well, yeah, I'd probably just sit there and stare at them Not at Travis, but at Stevie Nicks and Taylor.

Speaker 3:

I know like what conversations were had, I would just listen.

Speaker 2:

I don't know what could they talk about? The crowd, the show.

Speaker 3:

Okay, so it goes. Took my love, took it down, Climbed a mountain and I turned around and I saw my reflection in a snow-covered hill To the landslide.

Speaker 2:

I know it now.

Speaker 3:

I've heard that song.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

Okay, I've heard it. Thank you, belle. Sorry, because I was so nervous.

Speaker 2:

I've heard it. I've heard it.

Speaker 3:

Yes, I've heard that now, that song is epic I. I've heard it.

Speaker 2:

I've heard it. Yes, I've heard that now.

Speaker 3:

That song is epic. I've heard it.

Speaker 2:

Sorry, yeah, I can't believe it, I know. So Anyway, anyway, now.

Speaker 3:

That is my pop queen culture, pretty much Anything else you want to add to the mix of that, because I know you hear a lot of things.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, do you know that they supposedly went away after Dublin, taylor and Travis. Where'd they go? Some spa, some Greek island or somewhere beautiful, and they rented out the whole place and she just got to go to the spa or something. Why did I not see this story. Maybe it's not true then.

Speaker 3:

Maybe Some Greek spa.

Speaker 2:

I don't know Somewhere, some beautiful island somewhere. Good for her.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, she's got her own place. Now she's in Amsterdam.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, she had one last night. Yeah, supposedly pretty good.

Speaker 3:

Apparently.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, fabulous, of course.

Speaker 3:

But of course I don't really have any other stories, except that scientists have invented a machine that can turn air into water oh cool.

Speaker 2:

So how do we do that?

Speaker 3:

there's so much um. A prototype successfully pulled liters of water from dry air, a promising advancement as water scarcity becomes an increasing global problem. Now people would say, oh, like, isn't that just a dehumidifier? Yeah, but it's not. It's a.

Speaker 2:

It's a better like a much better version where you can actually you know drink the water and so we need those in all of these third world countries, then that don't get water exactly, wow bring them over um, but that was a story that I saw very interesting. Yeah, that's really cool.

Speaker 3:

Nothing else. There was a Hamptons white party where every, I think like Kim Kardashian and everyone went for July 4th, the usual party. Glad we weren't invited. It looked like a bunch of Same people. Yeah, just honestly looked kind of awful actually from the photos. Yeah, just honestly looked kind of awful actually from the photos.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's been like the parties out there have been kind of.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but this is like the the tradition. This is the traditional Michael Rubin white party and of course, kim and her posse was there and it honestly looked boring. No one very interesting was there. Yeah, anyway, we had more fun. That was about it. Nothing really to report other than that.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

I think we can go to pop culture.

Speaker 2:

Oh, going on to pop culture. So the first thing is meet Beacon, the golden retriever who had an important role in the US Olympic gymnastic trials. Do you?

Speaker 3:

know, that. Okay, I'm hearing it again that sound what? It's a weird sound.

Speaker 2:

I don't know. Don't hear it. The talented men and women of the US gymnastics had someone special on hand to provide support during the recent US gymnastics trials ahead of Paris Olympic. The four-year-old golden retriever named Beacon is the first therapy dog. He received his own credentials for the trials. The USAG, which is the USA Gymnastics, hired him part-time to comfort the gymnasts and staff. Beacon's role was vital during the trials in Minneapolis, where gymnasts competed for a spot on the USA team For Paris. He holds the USAG team's goodest boy title attended the trials which ran the 27th through the 30th. His handler, tracy Molnar, who has had beacons since he was a puppy, told ESPN they stated the puppy was a service animal before she had him certified as a therapy dog. Anyway, this guy, I want this jacket.

Speaker 2:

Oh Look at him Good for him.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, look at that Slaying. Yeah, USA red. Wait, I'm kind of jealous right now.

Speaker 2:

That's what I said. I was like what the heck?

Speaker 3:

I kind of want this jacket.

Speaker 2:

I would have gone to Minneapolis and helped them. So, keeping with the Olympic theme, michael Phelps and other sports figures on how their dogs energize and support them.

Speaker 3:

We didn't even talk about the Olympic trials, really, that we watched them? Oh yeah, Did you?

Speaker 2:

guys watch. That was amazing. I didn't take notes.

Speaker 3:

That's why we forgot about it. Yeah, totally forgot. Guys watch that was amazing.

Speaker 2:

I didn't take notes Back to banter. That's why we forgot about it. Yeah, totally forgot. Wow, it was amazing. It was amazing. Simone was 12 feet up in the air. Yep, how do you do that? That's crazy. I thought I jumped high. Yeah, michael Phelps is the world's most decorated Olympian and there's someone who regularly outraces him, his great Dane Onyx. When we're out running, she always wants to be faster, she always wants to get ahead of me. She's so super strong and I have to let her win, so this is what keeps him going. Apparently, there's a new docuseries with sports figures and Purina Pro Plan has partnered with it. So see, we've got Michael Phelps, aaron Andrews and Olivia Dunn. I would like to watch it. I'm giving it the abbreviated version because we talked just so much today.

Speaker 3:

We talked so much about the queen.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I'm going to skip this story. It's just about Kevin Costner says that he's just like his seventh month old puppy you don't have to rush.

Speaker 3:

People love to hear this, don't you everyone.

Speaker 2:

Gps. Well, I've got a really good one for number four, gossip pup society. My number four is really good.

Speaker 3:

Okay then.

Speaker 2:

So Kevin Costner, we know we talked about the puppy he adopted.

Speaker 1:

His.

Speaker 2:

Labrador named Bobby. He says I'm like Bob. He explains that he and his canine buddy, share the same tendency and go from extreme passivity in their everyday lives to full-on locked-in mode where they're all fire on all cylinders. So Bob gets in the car. He doesn't care where he goes. He's lazy, he sleeps, he goes woof at the door if someone's out there. But if I put him on a field you see his IQ go up 30 points. He looks like an Adonis of dogs. He just knows exactly who he is. Kosterner adds so, he's saying that.

Speaker 2:

That's what happens to him himself, kevin Kosterner, when he starts on a project like he's his new Western horizon, the American saga.

Speaker 1:

When he starts on a project, he goes full speed. When he's off a project, he's lazy and sluggy, so he and Barbara are like it kind of sounds like me.

Speaker 2:

I think it sounds like everybody.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's like when you're in something.

Speaker 2:

It's like You're in the mode. You're like yeah. You're in the mode like yeah, you're flying yeah but then when it's over, it's like oh yeah, it's over and it's kind of like I'll just hang out now on the couch kind of thing. So this last story, which I did not want to eliminate because we have had gator culture in the past, okay, I'm sorry there is something going on.

Speaker 3:

There is some what Wait, move a little bit. I know what it is Belle, what it's your headphone wire hitting the microphone wire. This it keeps.

Speaker 2:

I don't hear it at all.

Speaker 3:

There we go Okay.

Speaker 2:

Don't hear it at all it kind of sounds like a rattlesnake. I heard the owl, but I didn't hear that Anyway. So, as I was saying, you know how we have had gator culture etc. In the past.

Speaker 2:

Yes of course. Well, this is snapping turtle culture. Okay, a snapping turtle pulled a terrified puppy into an Alabama creek as a man raced to help. Terrified puppy into an Alabama creek as a man raced to help. The man was in the Crossville area when a group heard horrifying cries behind a home. The sound led them to a horrifying scene on the water. They went to check it out, saw a puppy being dragged by the back leg into the creek by a snapping turtle, into the creek by a snapping turtle. The man rushed down, picked up the turtle which, by their surprise, had him free the puppy. Oh, okay.

Speaker 2:

The puppy was scared, I would imagine so they took him right to the vet and to the shelter. Look, he's so scared. First of all, how big is a snapping turtle? Is it like one of those?

Speaker 3:

big turtles.

Speaker 2:

It has to be, because this is not a little pup like us.

Speaker 3:

He was trying to escape, apparently, and was screaming Snapping turtle. I want to see how big. Oh wait, this is a huge turtle.

Speaker 2:

He's the pup.

Speaker 3:

They're large freshwater turtles. They're big, they're big. So that's why these are not little turtles.

Speaker 2:

Like he could have swallowed us whole that turtle, but he was trying to get this puppy fought and he had injuries on his leg, but he's fine now and he's ready to be adopted. Where does this was? Did this happen? Alabama?

Speaker 3:

okay, I'm just seeing what other states there's. Are there snapping turtles in new york? I don't think so. Are snapping turtles in new york only the snapping turtle and the painted turtle are really common across new york. Oh, snappers are the largest New York freshwater turtles Wait, where do we have freshwater here? Reaching shell lengths of 19 inches and weights of 70 pounds.

Speaker 2:

Whoa this is in Crossville, alabama, so there are snapping turtles in New York. We should be aware. Okay, we're not going near any what's freshwater?

Speaker 3:

here though Freshwater ponds.

Speaker 2:

Ponds? We don't have ponds near us, not really. We have oceans.

Speaker 3:

And rivers.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no ponds. Ooh Whoa Tink. Is that your hungry?

Speaker 3:

I think I'm hungry. See, I ate breakfast. Tink was like I don't want breakfast. I'm good my stomach, yeah.

Speaker 2:

So that was my fourth story, which I had to have because yeah, the strangest sounds Like ASMR episode here. Yeah, We've never had snapping turtle culture, so I just had to include it. Yes, I mean I'm missing my gator culture. Nothing's been on the news about these guys lately. Have you seen anything?

Speaker 3:

No, I mean I did see the gator that was hanging out underneath the public's shopping carts, yeah, and they had to rope it all off, but that's kind of different than my gator culture.

Speaker 2:

My gator culture usually involves yeah, it's usually an intense, it involves the dogs or something.

Speaker 3:

No, no, gator culture usually involves a dog.

Speaker 2:

No gator culture really. I've seen have you seen any shark culture, maybe next week we can do some shark culture. Yeah, there's apparently, like sharks are wild, so many attacks, yes, which is why I don't think I want to go in the ocean anytime soon.

Speaker 3:

Yeah well, Whatever. I don't think we want to go in the ocean anytime soon. Yeah well, Whatever. I don't think we are for a while.

Speaker 2:

Who knows? We don't know where lives lead us every day.

Speaker 1:

We'll see.

Speaker 3:

We'll see. Wow, what an episode.

Speaker 2:

What an episode Are we? We're wrapping it up.

Speaker 3:

Are we wrapping it up?

Speaker 2:

Wrapping it up.

Speaker 3:
