I'm bell and welcome to gossip pups, season 2, episode 29, also known as episode 81. So we made it Happy Friday everyone. Hope you had a great week. Hope you're cooling off a little bit, maybe a little bit. It's not as hot here in New York, but it is. It's still hot, but not as hot. Anyway, I'm flying solo today. Tinker couldn't be here. She's got the day off. And you know me, I was like I'm not missing an episode, because otherwise we would have had a week off, and then that means it would have technically been week 81 next week, but it should be week 82 next week. So that's the story. So I'm alone. So hopefully I do okay and you enjoy it. Anyway, let's move on to banter everyone for episode 29 of season 2. Sorry, I don't know the Spanish, that stinks Dio. So we left off last Friday and I was so excited because, remember, I booked a job that I was shooting two days this week. Well, guess what happened? Very late Friday night, all of a sudden the job got canceled, so I didn't have that shoot and it was really strange. But whatever, moving on to the next one, I guess. So just keep me updated on that.

Uh, what else happened? Oh yeah, you know what happened. Did I tell you this human went to the beach without us. Are you kidding me? So human decided to have a beach day with our friends at umside Services, long Island, who, like they're amazing. His name's Armani, I've met him before and he sets up the beach. You get a whole like cabana thing on the beach and beautiful new chairs and all you have to do is show up and bring a towel. So human showed up, brought a towel and not me, what the heck. I thought that was crazy. But she had a good time. So shout out to Armani because he's a great guy.

What else happened this week? Oh, the final post for Tweezerman went up and that campaign was a lot of fun to work with. We're so happy we got to launch it, oh my gosh. And then you know what happened. We got a delivery that said Royal Mail. It came all the way from London. It was. I was so excited because I don't think I've ever gotten anything that said Royal Mail. I have friends over in the UK. Coco Pups sent us some really fashionable new harnesses and collars and they're crocheted and they're so pretty. You probably saw it on our social media. And then this towel. It goes on you if you're wet and shower and it has little ears but it's really cute. It's too too big on us but we like it because it makes it extra cozy, so that was fun.

Uh, what else? Oh yeah. So yesterday, um human had a really, really important Zoom meeting for us and we didn't know if it was going to go okay or not, but it went great and we have something brand new and exciting that's happening in August. I can't tell you, but just saying something really great happened yesterday. Oh yeah, and you know what else is happening. Mark your calendars July 31st through august 5th 20 off all the merchandise. You could get tinkerbell merch. You can get gossip pups merch. You can get gps merch anything 20 off. Make sure you write that down, because this doesn't happen often. So Tink booked that secret job that we couldn't tell you about. That she shot and it started to launch. The soft secret launch started coming out, so that means I can talk about it. So Tinky booked a job for Tavo Pets, t-a-v-o Pets, and they made this brand new airline travel bag that is for pups or cats or whoever you travel with. I guess you could maybe put a person in there if you wanted, I don't know, but anyway. So all of a sudden it started to come out at Nordstrom's and there's a video online and I was like, hey, that's Tink, hey, that's Tink over there too. And then they launched, they did one with her photo and the secret to that picture why there's a picture. I think human put it in her stories on Instagram. Anyway, the bag with her like standing up out of it. Well, to make her that much taller, they put three pads on the bottom to make her taller because she's short. So that's the secret, acting secrets.

I'm giving them all away. What else in my banter do I have to tell you? Oh, this isn't really banter. I guess this can fall under banter or pop culture. Well, let's wait and we'll keep it as pop culture, because it kind of falls under there. So I'm not usually the pop culture gal. That's usually tinky-winky, but I'm doing it all today. I hope you like it. Let's see, let's go to. Oh no, that's not it. So we're going to go to pop culture, and here we go. So my first story, of course, has to do with the queen herself, who is performing right now in Germany. So cool. So the first story says I got your back in Germany, babe. Now guess what that's about?

Taylor Swift storming into Germany and still getting plenty of support from Travis Kelston, who was there to pack on the PDA as soon as the curtain came down. Check it out the singer and the NFL star are looking like an old married couple. As Tay-Tay's Wednesday night concert at the Weltans Arena in Gelsenkirchen, germany, ended, travis proves he isn't afraid to show some physical affection either. Laying a loving arm around his lady's waist while waving at all the gleeful concert goers, the Kansas City Chief's tight end also places his hands on Taylor's backside at one moment, safely guiding her off stage. Dedicated Swifties were elated to spot Travis at the 13th Era's show, the first leg of her German date.

However, many commented how the German concert might be Travis's last in the foreseeable future, as his football season is about to ramp up. In fact, taylor's tour schedule has no conflict with the Kansas City Chiefs' home game against the Baltimore Ravens on September 5th. These games are going to start already. I can't believe it, let's see. So remember, taylor went public last with her relationship last September when she popped up in the box at the Arrowhead Stadium. Yes, we all remember that.

So he made it to Germany and it was his 13th Error Store concert. Because he's got to be on number 13, because that's you know Taylor's number. What do I think of him with her there? Well, I hope he's just going to become normal and just supportive and not a silly clown or do any more cringy, crazy moments. And I know he doesn't need to get her from the stage, she has plenty of bodyguards, but he likes it. When she waves he's there with her. You know him, he's the attention seeker. So I'm glad he was there and I don't think he did anything crazy, because I think I would have heard about it. I would have heard right away about that. So what else? Okay, oh, this is what else happened in pop culture. So his mom?

So they're making this Hallmark movie all about Kansas City Chiefs. I think we talked about that on the podcast before, and Jenna Bush Hager from the Today Show is on it and Donna Kelsey is actually in the movie also. So she's going to make an appearance in a cameo also. So she's going to make an appearance in a cameo. They shot this summer. It was apparently 110 degrees. They're all in winter clothes. The real football players are in the movie. This movie is going to be a hit before anybody even knows, because every Swifty's going to want to watch it. Everybody's going to watch it. Travis is not in it it, but I don't think Patrick is in it either Patrick Mahomes but Donna Kelsey makes makes an appearance and she is in it. So that's gonna be really fun and exciting.

So, moving on here, we got here, got here. So this kind of is a combination of pop culture and pup culture, because it's not a pup, but it kind of falls under both. So I put it in pop culture, hello Kitty is not a cat and we're not. Okay, and I didn't know this either. Actually, goodbye Kitty.

Amid celebrations for Hello Kitty's 50th anniversary, which officially occurred November 1st, fans of the popular cartoon character created by Yoko Ushimizi were shocked to learn that she is not a feline as she appears. Hello Kitty is not a cat. Jill Cook, the director of retail business development at Sanrio Hello Kitty's flagship store company, explained she's actually a little girl born and raised in the suburbs of London. She has a mom and a dad and a twin sister, Mimi, who is also her best friend. So that's interesting. So I thought Hello Kitty was from Japan, but she's born in London. So that's interesting to me, because I didn't know that either and I thought she was a cat. Kitty would be natural to think it was a kitty.

Anyway, naturally, the revelation, while not entirely unknown, had some fans a bit confused. After all, head old kitty appears to be a cat with a little red bow and, for some reason, no mouth. So she has whiskers and ears and is named Kitty, but is actually a human. One fan reacted on TikTok. What Others felt like the fun fact completely changed their lives. Hello Kitty has been my favorite since childhood. Another fan wrote and I'm almost 40. This is my first time hearing this.

While it may be in the news for some, this is not the first time Hello Kitty Species has stirred controversy. In fact, the character made headlines back in 2014, around its 40th anniversary, for the exact same reason. So I guess they keep saying it and everyone forgets. Did you know it? I didn't know. During that time, anthropologist Christine Yano, who authored Pink Globalization, hello Kitty's Trek Across the Pacific, was corrected very firmly by Sanrio on the distinction between the cat and the little girl amid prepping for a Hello Kitty exhibit in the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. She's a cartoon character, they explained. She's a little girl, she is a friend, but she is not a cat. She's never depicted on all fours. She walks and sits like a two-legged human creature. She does have a pet cat of her own, however, and it's called Charmy Kitty. So I know who Charmy Kitty is too. By the way, I didn't know this. I thought Kitty was a cat. So I learned something today. Hopefully, you all learned something today, and we're ahead of the 50th anniversary, because it's not until November.

Moving on to the next story, why Kate Middleton is retreating from the public eye after Wimbledon, a source told us she will not be in the public for any more events for the rest of the summer after her appearance at Wimbledon last week. Wimbledon was her second appearance in 2024, will be her last engagement of the season, according to this insider. Well, obviously the insider works for her somewhere, because how would they know. Anyway, the queen the future queen is used to live her life by the calendar, but now she's living her life and the calendar comes after that. She will be back. But when you have had an experience like this, it changes your perspective and the order of things. He added.

After Middleton announced her cancer diagnosis, she shielded away from public eye, focused on her treatment and recovery, and in June we knew she was making good progress, had good days and bad days during chemo, which is to be expected and all known, but she, she, oh, by the way, how did you think she looked? I think she looked great. She looked a little thinner than normal, but I think she looked great at Wimbledon and I thought it was amazing that Charlotte was there and it was. I thought it was a great, um, just great all around, and I totally understand she had a scare like that. So now it's like she wants to do everything she can do and spend everything she can do with her kids and her family and just be happy before having to worry and focus on her work. So I understand and I think that's smart that she's going to just enjoy the summer and not worry about being anywhere and enjoy her time with her children. So that is.

Kourtney Kardashian's son, rain, begs her to stop making out with Travis Barker and warns him against making another baby. They started making out and then it all happened. Rain started begging them to stop kissing. I'm scrolling here, I have some pop-ups. Sorry guys, my husband is home, I missed you. She told the musician They've been apart because he's on tour. And hang on, I want to get to the good part. Okay, here it comes. So they started aggressively kissing, prompting Rain to scold his mom Stop making out with Travis, bro. Rain said Like didn't you just have a baby? Don't get another one this quick. The couple just laughed in response as they continued to embrace and barker even went for a peck on his wife's neck. Are you giving her a hickey now? Rain asked in horror, before the mom of four clarified it was a gentle kiss on the neck, just because she just missed him.

Kardashian explained in a confessional that she thinks it's totally healthy to show PDA in front of her offspring. So what do you all think? I think it's a little much. I think Rain is right. I think she needs to rain it in and like cool it. I always thought it was a little cringy, I guess that she was like in front of the kids and everywhere it didn't matter, even like she'll go somewhere to her mom's house or somewhere, and it's like they just start making out excessively and I think it's a little weird. And I agree with rain. He might be young, but I'm taking his side totally, so that that's, uh, the kardashian update too.

I don't know why the pups aren't actively out there. I could have saved Kitty for pop culture, but I thought Kitty's more pop culture than pop culture. What do you think? Texas community works together to rescue a scared dog with a plastic bowl stuck on her head. A Texas Blah, I'm sorry I'm getting tongue-tied talking so much. A Texas pup is breathing easy again after getting her head stuck in a bowl. According to news outlet, the Manville Police Department, the mayor of Manville and concerned citizens of Brazoria County, texas, started searching for the stuck dog after learning that the lab's face was confined in a plastic bowl that prevented her from eating and drinking. This happened this week. It's crazy. This happened this week. It's crazy. We're unable to locate our dog.

The initial search said and they started using drones. Manville mayor dan davis left a comment under the police and fire department's post providing further context. The team from the pd was out there earlier with members of the community. He wrote they darted, they darted him, but he ran off into the community. Myself and others have done searching and weren't able to find him, and others and organized other search groups have been trying to find him too. The dog's reluctance to get close to others made trying to rescue the dog and free her from the bowl very challenging. Thankfully, the animal lovers searching for the confined canine had better luck with the following day Excellent news that the searchers had found and captured the dog so the canine could get help. She's been captured and is en route to the vet. Thank you to our animal control, local citizens and rescue groups for helping to capture her.

So it's not funny, but it is funny. This poor dog she's big, she's big and white has this bowl. I don't know how she did it. It's like the one remember, the one that got stuck in the ceramic toilet bowl or something. Remember that? I think that was last summer maybe, but I don't know how she did it. But they were able to take her to the vet and get this thing somehow off of her head. I don't understand how it wedged on like that and apparently she's doing okay and no severe injuries. She was so thirsty, but she's doing okay. So thank you, texas, for helping this dog with this bowl on its head.

My next story takes place in Kansas. Kansas police officers rescue 13 puppies found on the side of the road amid high temperatures. So this is funny because the police department in Kansas is in Garden City. There's a Garden City in New York too. So at first when I saw the story, I was like wait, garden City, no, how could this be? And then I remembered oh, wait, it says Kansas in the tiny print. Okay, it's a baker's dozen rescue. Okay, it's a baker's dozen rescue.

Police found 13 puppies on the side of the road. According to local news, abc affiliate, the discovery was made in Garden City, near 9th and Maple Streets. At 9.30 in the morning they posted about the rescue on Facebook, hoping to reunite the puppies with their families. Puppy love Officers found the sweet litter of puppies near 9th and Maple Street 13 of them that's Taylor's number too, guys and the update began. We made them junior partners and showered them with love and attention before taking them to the animal shelter. The police department posted on their social media fingers crossed. They are reunited with their family soon. So I'm going to keep reading and non-input, but I have to input something. But I'm waiting out by my tongue Moving on.

The Garden City Police Department told that the dogs were hot when they were found. Due to extreme temperatures in the area, it was over a hundred degrees. Other than being hot when we found them, they were sweet as can be, and appear to be in good health. Temperatures were expected in to be to triple digits the entire day of this rescue. So it's good they found them when they did. They're investigating who abandoned these 13 dogs. They made sure to shower them with extra attention before surrendering them to the Phinney County Humane Society for further care, and they weighed 6 to 8 pounds each. So they all survived. They're all doing okay. I would think they all have one family, because how are there 13 puppies that random families just drop there together Doesn't make sense, guys.

I don't know why you put that police report out like that. Very strange. But they are cute. They're going to be big. They look like they're going to be big. Six to eight pounds. That's like Tink and I together would be nine pounds. So it's like kind of big.

So please watch your pets. Please don't abandon them in the heat. Please bring them to safety at a shelter. They don't ask questions, Just leave them in the air conditioning. It's crazy, crazy things happening in this world, everybody. So keep your pets safe and keep the bowls away from the dogs and toilet bowls and any holes in the walls you got. Keep it away, and I think that's the end of pop culture as well.
