Daniel Gomez is an Award-Winning Motivational Keynote Speaker, Business Coach, Corporate Trainer, Executive Coach, and Podcast of the Year Recipient. He tells the compelling story about a time when his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer, and what it was like feeling like God has placed him in unfamiliar territory. That experience caused him to look deep inside himself. Today he's here sharing how he keeps the change.
What we discuss in this episode:
- Daniel shares about how he found a lot of success working his career in the car industry, but all of that keep to a screeching halt when five years ago, his wife was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. "It was like we were hit by a runaway truck."
- It's easy to think that just because we have money in the back or that our house is paid off or that we're successful that God won't place us in an area that we're not familiar with.
- It was that experience that caused Daniel to rely more deeply on God. "I think the biggest lie that I, you hear this all the time, right? Well, God would never give you more than what you can handle. He sure does give you more than you can handle, because if you can handle it, you don't need him. And that's the biggest myth."
- Daniel recalls making a clear choice that he would be there to honor his wedding vows and serve his wife, and through those moments he realized how much power God was granting him.
