Love In Common
We live in a world driven by deadlines, paychecks, and political division. But what happens during those moments in between? It’s those small slices of exchange that make up a life. Moments with neighbors, partners, kids, and caregivers. Coming to the table with three very different life experiences we are meeting each other where we are at- and asking the big questions about how to survive and thrive in those moments in between. This is the “Love in Common” podcast.
Love In Common
Here Comes Mom with The Books w/ special guests Clara and Linda Villarosa
This week on Love in Common we are joined by two very special guests- author Linda Villarosa, and her 92 year-old mother and entrepreneur Clara Villarosa (both ladies also happen to be featured in Erin’s 2016 documentary Dream, Girl). From hearing about Linda’s Pulitzer nominated book, Under The Skin, to about how Clara opened the largest African American Book Store in the country, five generations come together to have a rich conversation about what it means to be a social worker in our communities, the importance of art in our lives, and the necessity to sometimes party on a roof top in NYC. Take a listen, we are so glad you are here.
