Q&A on toddlers, with paediatric psychologist Amanda
In today's episode, we are sitting down with Amanda Abel. Amanda is a paediatric psychologist, mum, registered SOS feeding therapist, founder of the Northern Centre for Child Development, and co-founder of Toddler Toolkit.
In today’s episode, we will be doing more of a Q&A format, largely focused on toddlers which is where a lot of our community is currently at, including myself with an 18-month-old. Some of the many questions we will cover, are below. Tune in for a wonderful discussion!
- What are the “terrible two’s” what’s happening on an emotional level?
- My toddlers refusing everything and saying no all the time. How do we handle this?
- How do we set healthy boundaries for children and toddlers?
- How to deal with separation anxiety or anxiety in general in toddlers?
- Tips for starting children in daycare, what can help the transition?
- Tips for bringing a new baby into the family and getting a toddler ready for this.
- Any tips or tricks are getting your toddler to eat new foods when they suddenly become picky eaters out of nowhere.
