Aug 21, 2023 Episode 25
Dalton Daniel

Hey guys, so in this episode I talk about how I've been feeling somewhat depressed and lonely.. Typically when I am feeling lonely, my immediate impulse is to watch some TV, cook up some great food or go see a movie which I personally think at times can be very healthy and enjoyable for me. However, I have a tendency to isolate and find a little too much comfort in solitude.

So over these past few weeks I found a strategy that seems to work for me.. I've been going to Zilker Park recently here in ATX with my dog, Max. One of the first times I made the decision to do this, there was actually a lot of resistance. Seclusion felt right and I kind of craved it, but I knew intuitively I needed some spontaneous interaction. Unplanned, genuine and very relaxed. So I went to Zilker. I made a friend, watched my dog play and honestly felt refreshed and my mindset had been completely shifted.

This episode is just a bit of motivation and is proof that a little human interaction, fresh air, and spontaneity can shift your mindset for the better.

Thank you for taking the time to listen! Feel free to reach out to me if you'd like to collaborate in any way. Also, always open to feedback on how to improve the podcast.
