Episode 70: Guest Ariann Lalla-Mohammed - Adult Protective Services Resources and Roles.

Bobbi and Michael Carducci

Today, we talk about one of the "boogeymen" that we often hear about when dealing with the elderly and dementia. That boogeyman is Adult Protective Services.

In today's episode, we are joined by Ms. Ariann Lalla-Mohammed from the Loudoun County (Virginia) Adult Protective Service (APS).   Most people believe that when somebody from APS comes and knocks on the door that it's a bad thing.  What we hope today in talking with Ariann, is to assure you that adult protective services is really a resource.
