Dementia Spotlight is a weekly podcast hosted by Bobbi and Mike Carducci that focuses on caregivers and those who will become caregivers. The hosts and their guests will provide tips, truths, and straight talk about Alzheimer's and the many other forms of dementia. In today's episode, we are joined by Dr. Marc Alderdice, PhD who has worked in academia and with pharmaceutical companies, having even managed clinical trials for potential treatments of Alzheimer’s disease. We discuss how he learned the hard way that living with Alzheimer's personally, is much different and more difficult than studying it objectively. His book, "Don't Forget to Dance, a unique Alzheimer's journey from bizarre to blissful", takes us on his emotional journey, and shows us how we can dance more and be happier, no matter what life throws our way.
