Found Footage - "[REC]" and "Exists"
Ooooooooh this is a good one, folks.
We all know Fraser loves a Found Footage film - but sadly he didn't bring the sauce this week. I think we managed to find the only universe where a found footage Bigfoot horror film turns out to be the most tedious and lackluster 90 minutes imaginable.
However, Euan's pick this week didn't disappoint. A first time watch for him, [REC] takes us to the midnight streets of Barcelona and gives us one hell of a real-time zombie thrill.
There's some ups and theres some downs, and I think that pretty much defines the found footage genre to a T.
