Guest Name: Eric Bloomstein

Once he found his learning style and type of intelligence, Eric received his masters degree in special education and later received his Ed.S. in Special Education Administration from Simmons College. 

He attended the William and Mary Law School program for Special Education Advocacy in 2013. He has been a public and private school special education teacher and an administrator of special education for over 20 years. His work has impacted and changed the lives of hundreds of children and their families. 

In this episode:

  • Finding the right avenues for Men to be vulnerable about their traumas. Using nature as a tool to help Men find emotional stability and open up their healing journey.
  • The realization of past traumas and how learning from others will open your mind to new ideas.
  • Eric's work with special needs children, and the importance of relationships (especially family) when doing this introspective emotional work.
  • Breaking down the barrier for men to explore their emotions in an innate way that doesn’t feel unnatural.
