Speaker 1:

Hey, hey, hey people, Welcome to Beards on the Street.

Speaker 2:

Happy Friday y'all.

Speaker 1:

Happy Friday and hey, check this out.

Speaker 2:

We're early, we're early.

Speaker 1:

We're early and I'm not even stressed out. Is that why Dean's smiling? Wow, I'm not even stressed out. Is that why Dean's smiling? Wow, I'm not even completely stressed out. I'm too damn tired to be stressed out, even working. Dude, dude.

Speaker 2:

Working like a rented mule and you know what it looks good. You're going to have a lot of pride in that floor. Dude, it's not just the floor, I know, but For crying out loud I was a painting contractor before that Dude, it's not just the floor, I know, but For crying out loud, that's this week's project. I was a painting contractor before that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and I don't know what was worse, because when I was painting the ceilings are so high I would have to I'd set up scaffolding, so I'd have to walk up the scaffolding, walk up a ladder without eating shit and dying, work in a space that I could reach back down the ladder, back down the scaffolding and move, and then same thing, back up, back down, back up, back down. No, no, yeah no, it was, it's been. My 57 year old body is a bit pissed off right now.

Speaker 2:

It's a. It's a quick reminder how much you enjoy real estate, huh.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, the cush Sure. No, I like what I do for a living. This manual labored man.

Speaker 2:

You guys out there that respect for that Matt respect, so you guys that work manual labor.

Speaker 1:

it's especially like okay, so I've been doing the floors and man just on your knees up and down and cuts and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It's just dude, you're constantly moving.

Speaker 2:

I'm surprised I haven't lost 50 pounds. Sounds like your single formative years, right.

Speaker 1:

Hey Ron. So since we're on the subject, I'm going to play this quick video. It just kind of shows. All right, people Hear how tired I am. You do so sorry. Have the stove in tomorrow. It's in. Still got stairs and that one edge.

Speaker 2:

This is all done. Hopefully I'll get my stair treads. That guy sounds like he's about ready to this like fall over.

Speaker 1:

He is got a new door coming for the shower. Getting rid of that pimp, daddy gold, yeah it's amazing how much that just improves the put just the flooring and the plant, paint you know, we always say flooring and paint set of stairs to sleep for the stair treads, and that room is now done as well. So we all finished, man we all we all finished with the floor, other than I definitely have the stairs coming out.

Speaker 2:

Hey, I'm noticing the shirt. Yeah, pg's, uh, pg's uh uh.

Speaker 1:

Refinery yeah, pleasant grove, man refinery, but uh distillery distillery, yeah, refinery yeah, just human consumption refinery, yeah same, just human consumption refinery. So, buddy, what's new with you?

Speaker 2:

We had a really good mixer last night. Yeah, let's talk about it. Oh, what a fun night.

Speaker 1:

It was good, had a great show up, great people. You know it was fun.

Speaker 2:

I had one of my better turnouts and I was in connection mode it was.

Speaker 1:

I mean literally, so I had a.

Speaker 2:

It's about bleeping time, dude, I had designers and stagers there. I had an artist who was there to meet the designers and stagers to be able to do custom artwork. I had friends in title. I had multiple realtor relationships there and I was just ping-ponging around the room meet this one, gotta go over here and talk to dude. Connections were made and then, uh, one of my friends is is looking at building a, uh, a jiffy lube kind of concept. Yeah, he's got, he's got family there with chevron direct and all that and so crap, shane rolled over there. Shane's gonna help him start looking at actually building. And so I'm gonna be looking for some commercial, spit commercial, uh land and nice in lehigh yeah, well, you know, uh, I've been chatting with shane along.

Speaker 1:

Uh, as you know, I hooked him up with my next door neighbors. I actually have their lot for sale right now but uh, he told me last night that they're uh just finishing up all the pre-am stuff and breaking ground in about three weeks.

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh tell me that's not cool.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely yeah shane is such a stud he really is dude he is. That guy is is just good people through and through he was.

Speaker 2:

I think he was the last guy standing last night in our mixer. Good for him. Yeah, not me Connecting with the gal that I brought who's a designer, and getting into real estate no, it's awesome, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, that's what they're all about. You know, I had a mortgage gal walk into my office this morning and I was telling her she was there last night. And I was telling her she was there last night and I was telling her start participating, start bringing your own people, Start using this organization, don't reinvent the wheel. Because she was saying that she wanted to get with Cynthia or somebody and start doing stuff. And I'm like tap in.

Speaker 2:

You know, what's funny is so you heard as I was walking out I just picked up a solicitation call. It was a young title guy and I don't if he saw our, our footage or what we're doing. But he goes how do I, how do I get your attention? Basically in so many words, and I'm like, well, we know title, you know the laws and whatnot. You're not able to really right, you can't, you know, pay into it all that kind of stuff. And I said I'll tell you what really Nothing for value.

Speaker 1:

What is it like, $5?

Speaker 2:

No, but you know what value is now? Because it really is. Everything is a relationship.

Speaker 1:

Oh, it is.

Speaker 2:

It's called.

Speaker 1:

Well, this is something they can do, that isn't a monetary value. That they can do and not get in trouble.

Speaker 2:

I told him all about it, and he's the announcer for the St Paddy's Day Parade. That's his job. Oh, that's fun. Yeah, and I'm like my partner's a Mick man. You ought to come meet him. Anyways, he knows Dave, he's all tied into all that. So he's coming to this next month's mixer. I'm like he goes what about lunch? I go well, I don't do lunch, man, I have a team. We spend time with them. No, you want to earn business? Come invest in me, which means spend some time.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I like it. Yeah, yeah. Well, I'll tell you a funny story. So, as you know, darian was bombing my phone and your phone last night. Yeah, she was. But so, dude, I was thoroughly confused because, as you know, I started I got a beer up at the counter to begin the night, Okay, and then I wanted to order food, just kind of prime in the night, get primed up.

Speaker 2:

No, I actually that's all I did.

Speaker 1:

That's all I drank and I was, I was, I know, screw you, aaron, anyways. Um, when I went to leave, I ordered food from a different guy uh-huh so I told him, I'm like my card's already over there. I already have an open tab.

Speaker 2:

Oh this is where this happened. Yeah, this is why this happened.

Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, I'm bringing you up to speed, yeah. So then the gal came over to me and said I heard you want to tap out and I'm like, yeah. So she handed me the receipt with my card and I looked down and I said what about my food? And she says no, no, you'll pay for that up there. So I looked down and I thought it was just for the one beer.

Speaker 1:

So it was like five dollars and some change, so I tipped a dollar. You all, right? Yep, good, so I tip a dollar. Uh-huh, she takes off and goes. I go up there I wait for my food, the dude brings out my food and I'm like he's like there you go and I'm like I gotta pay you. He's like no, it's already handled, you're, it's already paid, and I go and I'm like I got to pay you.

Speaker 2:

He's like no, it's already handled, it's already paid. And I was like he's confused. I was so confused I was like okay, so anyways. Keep hitting that thing. I know Half the time my screen's like this in your hand. Talk with your hands.

Speaker 1:

So, anyways, I'm actually in bed, asleep, and my phone just starts blowing up and of course it's Darian. She's with the guy who was I didn't know at the time, but he's the like the regional manager or one of the managers. And when I first walked in the the at the very first of the night the gal at the door I asked her. I just told her I'm like we're the ones having the event.

Speaker 2:

She just looked at me with this confused face and she's like event.

Speaker 1:

I don't know anything about an event, so I called Darian, because she's the one that set it up and knows this guy, and she called him and there was just a big confusion. But then another lady showed up and she knew all about it and everything was set us all up. It was they were perfect. Man, you, you, you guys. Trolley wing company. You did a great job great food, menu great food. You guys were on top of it the whole entire time, but because of those that previous call and my idiot dollar fusion dollar, dollar, tip, dollar, tip.

Speaker 1:

This guy took that as me that I was pissed off because I felt like they they slided, you slided us or didn't take it. Which number one?

Speaker 2:

I would never do that and that's what they're saying, and I said that on the phone as well, by the way. Yeah, like no way. That's not.

Speaker 1:

He didn't mean to do that, no so anyways, on a I guess it was 59, not five dollars you were.

Speaker 2:

You were a high tipper, you thought it was 25% and it was, oh my gosh dude.

Speaker 1:

I mean last night before I fell asleep, I'm laying there and I'm going I don't think I paid for my food Like I'm going back there tomorrow because I really seriously don't. I'm that guy, yeah, I'm like I'm not, I'm not out to take advantage of anybody, dude. It's like I'm sitting there literally having anxiety over it, thinking I don't think I paid for my food, and then my phone starts bombing and I tipped a dollar.

Speaker 2:

I got to talk to him and he was just like, oh my gosh, did we do? Okay, I'm like dude, it was amazing.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he was stressed out that I was sending him a message and I was not. I was just confused, tired, Darian was a little tuned up.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so, anyways, that's what happened last night. So Darian sent me that waitress's Venmo and I sent her a $20 tip today. Oh cool, so instead of $1, she got $21. Yeah, she got taken care of Good. That's good. Yeah, yeah, no, instead of a dollar, she got 21. Yeah, she got taken care of Good. That's good. Yeah, yeah, no, they did great dude. Yeah, it was Dude. The food was so good. The food was good, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I mean, it was that Belgian I got. That was good. It was non-alcoholic beer, it was way good. Yeah yeah, it had a great aftertaste. I was like I mean, it was, you know, some Mexican beers, how they really have that skunky aftertaste.

Speaker 1:

That's what it smelled like to me when, when you handed it to me. But then, dude, the aftertaste was wheat, and just so good, yeah, it tasted like work.

Speaker 2:

It tastes like a German beer. Yeah, it was good. It was good, fake German beer.

Speaker 1:

So, uh, anyways, thank you so much. Uh, charlie, wing company, we appreciate you guys. I just want to make sure that, uh, you understand that, that you guys were totally on top of it. We had no beefs at all. I've just, I'm just a little off my game right now Cause I'm freaking, working like a rented mule, so, but I'll get back in the, I'll get back in the swing, yep, all right, let's introduce this cat standing next to you. Buddy, who is this guy? Who is this?

Speaker 2:

guy, big Papa Pump, papa Pump. Should I introduce myself? Yeah, come on. Who the hell are you? My name's Gabe. I'm Aaron's son. What? Yeah, hang on. So yeah, brand new second week of real estate, so yeah he's jumping in.

Speaker 1:
