Ben:

George Santos, round two. Are we really ready for this? He was expelled from Congress after only serving 11 months for the people. This guy is a train wreck, just an absolute train wreck. Yet, he still was able to attend the State of the Union Address. I don't know how he got to do that.

Elly:

Oh, all members afterwards can do that. Oh my goodness, oh yeah. Ex members, yes. Yes.

Ben:

All right. He had three counts of a federal indictment. Fraud, money laundering, theft of public funds, lying to the House of Representatives. He was indicted a second time for stealing people's identities, making charges to their donor's credit cards without their authorization, submitting fraudulent financial records to the National Republican Party in order to obtain campaign cash. Can you believe this guy?

Elly:

This is an 11 months. Uh, yeah. And he wants to run again and there is a group though, a committee that is trying to stop him from doing so. Yeah. Well,

Ben:

if he's convicted of these things that we've just mentioned. And his first time around, he could get up to 20 years.

Elly:

Really? What's happening with that? How long?

Ben:

He put up a 500, 000 bond. They were wondering who put up the bond. He said his aunt did. But in his financial statements with the, with the government, he said he was worth like 11 million, but he actually didn't have two nickels to rub together. This is insanity. This is past crazy. This is insanity. Cannot have him back in the Senate. Don't know what to

Elly:

say. I, I think that he's just said it, there's really not much more to say. Nope. Do you think anyone will miss him on Cameo? Well,

Ben:

I know we don't miss him right now in Congress. We don't want them back.

Elly:

Don't quit your day job at Cameo.

Ben:

Santos 2024 no more.

Elly:

Don't quit your day job.

Ben:
