The Speech Path Pod is a podcast created by Aidan Osborne, MS, CCC-SLP. On this first episode, Aidan interviews Brooke Beilman, MS, CCC-SLP. 

Brooke is a full-time member of TIMS Medical, a part-time graduate school instructor, a board member for the non-profit Dysphagia Outreach Project, a participant in the 2023 ASHA Leadership Development Program, and serves patients in the acute care and inpatient rehab settings. She is the recipient of the ASHA ACE Award, co-founder of Servant Leadership, and a member of SIG13. Brooke has presented at the state and national levels, has been a guest on the podcasts Understanding Dysphagia and First Bite, and has been the host and guest speaker for continuing education webinars. Brooke is passionate about improving clinician access to resources for evidence-based practice and leadership development.

During this conversation, Brooke & Aidan discuss: 
-Brooke's initial interests in the field 
-The pathophysiology of dysphagia among patients with HNC 
-Review several recent articles related to lymphedema secondary to the treatment of HNC
