Welcome, sarah. Thank you so much for joining us today. Thank you, thank you so much for having me, before hitting record, mentioned in our conversation. I just kind of randomly reached out. I was really interested in the work that Sarah was doing and was so grateful that we got to connect and have this conversation where we get to hit record and share with everybody, because you're doing amazing work, changing lives on so many levels, so I'm grateful you can sign on today and share with us a little bit about different topics we have planned today, things like you know, maybe the unconscious mind, a little bit about hypnosis, neuro-linguistic programming. But before we dive into that, why do you do the wellness work that you do?

Speaker 2:

Whoa, such a good big question to start with, right, I think for me, helping people and being in a more therapeutic environment always felt really natural to me. Even growing up as a kid, I tended to be the person that friends would turn to when they were going through tough times, and I just really love to listen. I really love to hold space for people to listen and it kind of I was always also really curious about the mind and why people do what they do and why people feel the way that they feel, and I was just so curious about all of these things and this really led me into my pursuit of psychology and studying at UCLA and then after that I really got to experience a different version of wellness, where I started traveling and I was really into yoga and meditation and visiting different sacred places.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I love that, thank you. I always, you know, when I read the bio, I feel like I get a chance to share the what, okay, what does this person do? What are they about? What are they offering? But that why I always I just love asking that question. So thanks for sharing, just because I think, uh, as clinicians, as therapists, as healers, there's it's always interesting kind of the journey getting there and I think it's really cool to hear just kind of this as people are looking for people to help them in their health and wellness journey. They're on their journey, while also providers like coaches, clinicians, are on their own journey too, and it's really cool when it's just hearing how it coincides and how it gets to be. And it's really cool when it's just hearing how it coincides and how it gets to be, and that's really wonderful.

At UCLA, did you study? I think they have the Mindful Awareness Research Center, right, did you get to you? Thank you. That's such an incredible opportunity and experience. Yeah, you know, because I think it's really really cool how we now have the technology to research and provide evidence for, like you mentioned, traditional practices that have been around for a really long time and have been effective. But, like now, we have a modality to study. Okay, how is it helping? We can actually measure activity in the brain. We can measure cortisol levels and stress reduction through that way, so that's really awesome. How have you incorporated some of that experience, the clinical training, into into your work?

Speaker 1:

Can you share a little bit about? For those people who are curious about working with a therapist or coach who uses more holistic modalities, like, how is that different for them? How can that make an impact in their life? You, you, you, you, you, right Within minutes, I mean that's incredible. You, you, you, you, you. I love you. You mentioned the neuro reprogramming like truly changing the wiring of the brain, like changing the programming that happens on your brain and not just telling yourself, um, you know, I can feel better or challenging your thoughts, which there is a space for that. Uh, right, but I, for those who have never heard of neuro linguistic programming and um, could you share a little bit about what that is like, what, what it looks like, how it helps, like what differences people notice? You, you, you, you, you, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so. Yeah, that's incredible.

Speaker 1:

Do you see common patterns when it comes to programming for these stressed out professionals. I'm thinking I mean, we're so stressed out, we're burnt out. So many people are trying to implement strategies, systems, routines, routines. They are trying to get there. And how incredible to know that there is something like NLP which I'm not trained in. I think it's fascinating. I would love to get some training in this area. These people who are stressed out, they're burnt out, which is so many of us right.

Speaker 1:

Once you kind of tap into on a neuro linguistic through the neuro linguistic programming, when you're able to look at like your own programming that you can create this change, do you see common patterns in terms of programming or shifts that that happen for people? No-transcript patterns would would play a role. Um, and you mentioned women specifically. I wonder too, does do you see this help in terms of, on an individual basis, things like neuro-linguistic programming or working with the unconscious mind? What are the effects that you see on it having when it comes to relationships, be it romantic relationships or friendships or family parenting? I'm imagining it just can unlock all kinds of things. No-transcript, be the cause in your life, not the effect, and being able to be the director. Those are just such such empowering terms and such empowering language for people to have.

Speaker 1:

I, I imagine too, when it comes to what people have experienced and what they're trying to overcome and where they're headed, is that, more than when it comes to coaching, that you're looking more at like goals and where you're trying to go and the direction? If you could talk a little bit about that in terms of like your distinction, for when you I know you say you do more coaching work what are some things that you only do in the coaching realm, for example, that you wouldn't do in the therapy? If you don't mind sharing a little bit about that, you, you, you, you, you. No, I love that because there's so much authenticity in that right. If there are techniques that are available and that help a provider be more of their authentic self to in those sessions, I think that's an incredible gift, not just to the therapist but also, of course, to the client as well, and that's such a beautiful offering for everybody. And that's such a beautiful offering for everybody.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to ask a question that's kind of like maybe out there, but I know that you do hypnotherapy as well. There's a lot of work that you do in holistic modalities, and is there any kind of space for the concept of like cellular memory, maybe like things that are passed down generationally when it comes to patterns or programming in a person? Cause we know we've talked about like what people have experienced earlier and I wrote this question down I was like maybe this is out there, but I'm wondering, you know, maybe in utero things like that Is there any like space for that in the work that you do? Because I could see how that's no-transcript. You, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you. I love that and direct it. I mean it, just all it just yeah, be the director in your life. I love that.

Who who do you work with in terms of clients? Do you work with people all over the U? S? I'm curious if you could share about that and how people can connect with you. You, you, you. This sounds amazing. I'm like sign me up. You, you. That's incredible. I am so grateful that you shared a little inside. Look into the work you're doing. I feel like you're transforming so many lives and I'm sure the butterfly effect is felt in their relationships.
