S1 E7 The Little Match Girl; The First Hesitation
We are back on track tonight.
In our first story, we read a sad story by Hans Christian Anderson called The Little Match Girl. The little girl went out on New Years Eve to sell matches. She was unsuccessful in this, but that turns out to be a small comfort, as she uses her unsold matches to keep warm on the biting cold night. She sees wonderful things by the light of her little matches, ending in the most wonderful, and the most awful, thing of all.
In our second story, we continue with The Soldier, the Girl, and the Wild with our sixth chapter The First Hesitation. Saia is settling in with the Wild Witches, who are planning on initiating her into their ways. However, she starts to notice some things that indicate there must be more than meets the eye. Len finds his way through the Hedge, and meets someone that he did not expect. The secrets of the past begin to unfold before them both.
