Moths to the Flame; Episode 13: Interview with Author Tim Waggoner!
In this episode of Moths to the Flame, I sit down with Tim Waggoner, an accomplished author of horror and fantasy novels, as well as media tie-ins. Waggoner has published close to fifty (yes, fifty!!!!) novels and seven collections of short stories since his first novel came out in 2001. He has won the Bram Stoker Award and been a finalist for the Shirley Jackson Award, the Scribe Award, and the Splatterpunk Award. In addition to writing, Waggoner is also a full-time tenured professor who teaches creative writing and composition at Sinclair College. In this episode, we discuss Waggoner's journey into the horror genre and how he got started with writing. Waggoner shares some of the authors and books that have influenced his writing style, as well as his experience with different genres and how he navigates between them.
