Now, compensation. Let's break this down because it is something that can be very, very deceiving, very confusing, very overwhelming. We live in an age where compensation numbers are all over social media platforms, right? If you are in that surrogate demographic, let's face it, the industry is booming. There are intended parents in the marketplace looking for surrogates. The demand is high. You might see numbers like "Become a surrogate for $80,000." What does that mean to you? You apply to that agency only then to realize they mean $50,000 plus all of the incidentals like maybe you lose a uterus, have a C-section, you're on bed rest for 12 weeks, you name it. And then they're like, "Hey, you know what? You did make $80,000, but now your body is busted and broken." No, that is not right. That should not be right. That should not be allowed.
