Since starting the journey of learning more about the animal cruelty free world & the topic of animal testing for the benefit of the products that we purchase, I have been struggling to find a cruelty-free toothpaste that I like.

I ended up trying out a new brand by the recommendation of my friend who is a dental hygienist, called Hello. At this point, I literally have only been using Hello toothpaste for 1 day. Overall, I have really been enjoying it and was SUPER excited to have finally found a brand that was cruelty free AND one that felt really good for my dental health.

As I started researching the brand more, I learned that while Hello's products ARE cruelty free, the morality behind choosing to support them and purchase their products is much more complicated that simply finding the "animal cruelty free" label. This is because Hello is owned by a parent company, that is NOT 100% cruelty free.

In this episode, I really dive into the details behind this. I discuss the pros and cons behind supporting a company like Hello, which is animal cruelty free, but owned by a parent company that is NOT 100% cruelty free.

This is a multi-layered conversation that I felt extremely called to share with you. I am really looking forward to hearing your perspectives around this.

Remember that we can truly change the world for animals by having conversations about topics that aren't easy to talk about. & PLEASE... remember to always bring KINDNESS to the way you communicate about these topics.

These are the blog posts by the Ethical Elephant that I referenced throughout this episode. Please feel free to research them & bring back any perspectives that you feel called to share.
