A few months ago, I was recording episode 16 of the pupsibilities podcast with my friend, Stephanie Blum. During that conversation, Stephanie opened up my eyes to one of the devastating truths about the dairy industry.

As someone who hasn't eaten meat in the past 11 years, I thought that I was doing the most kind thing by not eating meat. However, I was still consuming dairy and was completely ignorant to the devastating effects of that choice.

This episode is a tough one to listen to. The realities that you will hear about are difficult to hear. I get super emotional, which also might be difficult for some to hear. But it's one of the most important episodes that I have recorded to date, and I truly motivate you to listen in.

I definitely want to mention that if you do consume meat or dairy, you are welcome here. I urge you to listen to this episode with an open mind and an open heart. I urge you to take what you learn, process your emotions & choose to make decisions moving forward that are kinder to animals, even if it means taking one small step at a time to do so.

Being kind to animals starts with our LEARNING. It starts with opening up our eyes and expanding our thoughts beyond what we once knew & believed at one point in our lives. Click play & let's get started with that part of your animal advocacy journey as it relates to the dairy industry.

Here is the PETA website page that I referenced throughout the episode:
