Paul Shomo
Specializing in new technology evangelism, Paul is a cybersecurity analyst, and a DarkReading, CSO Online, and eWeek contributor. Paul was an engineering leader who built EnCase and DFIR, from 2006-2015. Paul is also a former protocol stack and kernel developer for Wind River Systems.
A pioneer of industry and academic collaboration in cybersecurity, Paul managed an early CalTech grant studying the application of machine learning in malware detection. Paul is an Associate Editor of the ACM’s peer-reviewed academic journal, Digital Threats Research, and Practice (DTRAP).
