In this episode, I delve into my overall outlook on life which states: "to be happy or to be miserable, the effort is truly the same." 

The amount of effort required to possess either mindset is essentially the same. It takes the same amount of effort to choose to be happy about life's less-than-favorable circumstances just as similarly as it is to paradoxically choose to be miserable. 

I re-iterate the importance of altering the way we choose to perceive life's day-day-day obstacles, challenges and plans that tend to go awry with this simple mindset. 

Choose to intentionally be happy anyways. 

Pay less attention to the outside world and its constant downfalls. 
Pay less attention to other people and remain inside your locus of control with this reminder. 
Choosing to be happy is a decision you can make regardless of what the external world throws at you.

And further than that, STOP attaching your happiness to anything or anyone else aside from yourself.
Once you de-tach your internal happiness from the outside world, you're effectively preventing yourself from falling at the mercy of other people and events you have zero control over. 

To be happy or to be miserable, the effort will always be the same so choose wisely if you want to feel free from the world around you.
