UnPerfect - Experience God's Presence and Purpose in the midst of Difficult Circumstances
Hey, Sister. Are you frustrated that life hasn’t turned out the way you planned? Do you wonder if abundant life is possible on this side of eternity? I’ve been where you are, and girl, do I have some hope to share with you! Welcome to UnPerfect. I’m Shelly Snead, and each Tuesday I bring you stories from my real life - the hilarious AND the hard - and hope-giving truth from the Bible. I am honest about my jacked-upness while still confident in my Jesus. We'll chat about practical ways to experience God's presence and purpose in our difficult circumstances and brokenness. On Fridays, listen in as I chat with faith-filled guests - "Fridays With Friends." Join us on a journey of authentic faith in the midst of "hard" with plenty of laughter on the side. Together, let’s find glimpses of God’s glory in the now and the not-yet.

We've all fallen victim to the comparison trap! In this episode we continue our discussion of comparison with how we compare our possessions, our children and even our life experiences and circumstances. Because we can't all be Joanna Gaines [sigh], have perfect kids or perfect life circumstances. But we can learn to be grateful and even experience the JOY of "missing out".
We also talk about some comparing that happens in the New Testament and get a glimpse of the time we waste comparing ourselves to other.
