Shelley Jeffcoat

As the curtain closes on May, a month imbued with grace and favor, I'm reaching out to remind you that it's not too late to pick up the mantle of your divine assignments. Today's heartfelt discussion springs from 1 Corinthians 15:10, a scripture that echoes with the transformative power of grace in our lives. It's a call to embrace the work set before us, a testament to the truth that our efforts, when mingled with divine grace, are never in vain. I'll share how this passage has fueled my own journey and how it can propel you forward in yours, even when the road feels steep and the burden heavy.

If you've ever found yourself stalled, your passion for your God-given tasks dimmed, this episode is your beacon back to the path. Join me in a prayer for renewal, for the reignition of zeal, and for the remembrance of those assignments that may have slipped through the cracks of a busy life. And as always, our community awaits you with open arms. Discover the bonds of fellowship and support that we foster through our digital presence on YouTube, Facebook, and at graceandgritmediacom. Don't let this be merely another podcast listen; let it be the nudge that steers you back to your purpose, with God's grace as your unfailing companion.

Speaker 1:

Good morning y'all. So my voice is getting a little better. Thanks for asking. Happy Saturday.

Speaker 1:

I wanted to come out of 1 Corinthians 15.10. This is one of my favorite, favorite verses in the Bible, and I hope that this message today is going to encourage you as we are ending the month of May, the month of grace and favor five meaning grace and favor, and I don't want you to miss anything that was destined, that was redeemed for you. So 1 Corinthians 15, 10, it says but, by the grace of God, I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I but the grace of God that is with me. So I want to encourage those of y'all, especially those who were given an assignment, an idea, and you have not. Maybe you haven't started it, maybe you haven't followed through. I know there are some of you under my voice who've had ideas and, you know, said oh, the Lord gave me an idea and you've done nothing with it. And so, as we're rounding out the month of May, I'm encouraging you. You know this part of the world where it talks about but, by the grace of God, I am what I am. So I am who I am and I am what I am because of God's grace on my life right, I am able to do the things that I'm able to do because of his grace and favor in my life. That there were assignments given to me that made no sense, but I still trust and believe and follow through, and I want to encourage y'all. When it talks about, on the contrary, I worked harder than any of them. When it talks about on the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, it's when you get these assignments, the assumption that it's just going to be, you know, easy peasy and you don't have to do any work and you're not going to be tired. You know that's crazy. Work is work, right. So I want to encourage you that you should finish out what you start, finish out the assignment and don't miss this season, don't miss this season of favor. That's on you, right? It says it's not I, but the grace of God that's with me. So everything that you stand in need of as you're aligning to what he says, what he gives you the assignment, it will come to you, you'll get what you need, but you've got to do the work. So encouraging you.

Speaker 1:

Here we are. We're still talking about soaring this year. That's still our theme. So, spirit-led, obedient, um, anointed and renewed, that's what it means sore in 24. We've been living this theme out since, uh, january, that's.

Speaker 1:

This is our theme for the year, and I don't want to miss the season, I don't want you to miss your assignment, so go back again. That was first. First corinthians, 15, 10, you know, and that will bless you all, right. So, lord, I just thank you for today. I don't want you to miss your assignment, so go back again. That was 1 Corinthians, 15, 10, and that will bless you All, right. So, lord, I just thank you for today.

Speaker 1:

Saturday. Thank you for those who are listening, those who have been given assignments and have kind of stalled Maybe they've given it over because they don't have time, maybe they've lost the passion, maybe they've even forgotten what the assignment is. That you'll renew their minds and bring it back to their memories, bring it back to their remembrance and give them the grace to complete the assignments that they were meant to start and finish. Amen, all right, I love y'all. If you want to find us, I know this is posted in a bunch of different places so you can find us on the YouTube streets under Mrs Pai. You can find us come out of the wilderness on Facebook as a group. You can also find us on graceandgritmediacom. We have a lot of free events. Have a great rest of your day, take care.
