Welcome to this trailer for just start.
This is a podcast where we're going to break through barriers that really hold a lot of people back and help you to embark on a journey of your own fitness lifestyle and a healthier, stronger, more vibrant life.

My name is Neil Damackine and I'm a father, a family man, a Generation X specialized fitness coach and the host of the Just Start podcast, where we're going to dive into and explore the world of fat loss, mobility, and the powerful benefits of resistance training for muscular development.

This podcast is a passion project to share the fitness lifestyle with the people who can really get the most out of it. You guessed it. Generation X. One of the main topics in this podcast can, quite frankly, be an elephant. In many rooms, it's fat loss. And let's be honest, it can be daunting. But fear not, because we're going to share and demystify how you can improve your metabolism, shed the fat, and finally get that healthy, fit body that you want.

And fat loss is just the beginning. Our bodies, yes, even those of us who rocked a great metabolism in younger years can't escape the passage of time. And that's why we're also going to delve into the world of mobility.
Now, the key to staying limber nimble and pain free as we navigate increasingly demanding lives with less movement is retaining the ability to move within a full range of motion without pain.
And there are ways to improve your posture to keep you moving the way you were meant to and enhance your flexibility without training to become a human pretzel. Now, spoiler alert, consistent effort does go a long way here and there is some movement involved, but it's not as if you're going to be training for the circus, okay?

So last and certainly not least, what's life without a little muscle, right? Isn't that what's really responsible for the beach curves and the closed muscles? Yes, and that's where resistance training comes in. Now, forget the images of career bodybuilders.
Wherever you're beginning, resistance training is absolutely crucial for building lean muscle, which improves bone density and enhances your overall physical performance, which are exactly the health markers measured for longevity and a ton of other good stuff in life.

Most people, after losing fat and discovering their bodies can move properly again, enjoy a bit of muscle and the new shape that comes along with it, so mark my words, your future self will thank you for spending a bit of time here at Just Start.

But wait, there's more. Just Start isn't just about dropping knowledge bombs, giving you information that you forget. It's about creating a supportive, engaging community of like minded individuals who are on this journey with you. Which is why we'll also be featuring some inspiring stories from real people just like you, who have overcome challenges and embraced the power of starting anew and, quite frankly, have crushed it.
So I absolutely believe that we are stronger together, and together there is no obstacle that can block your path to a healthier lifestyle. So, my friends, whether you're listening to this podcast during your morning ritual, your commute, or while you relax, let's make a pact to embrace change, to challenge ourselves, and most importantly, to ditch the self doubt.
Because this really is the time to prioritize health, your very well being and future happiness is literally at the touch of your fingertips.

So I invite you to take the first step with me, subscribe to Just Start, because this podcast can literally change your life.
And to all my fellow Gen Xers, that goes double for you.

Thanks for listening into this little introduction. Our next very first full episode is devoted to resistance training, and it'll be dropping on the Monday following this release.
I hope you feel the possibilities because they are very real my friends.

Until next time, stay motivated, stay strong, and always remember that even small changes can lead to great things.
This is Coach Neil D signing off.
