Hello soul family. I am so excited we have a special guest today. Her name is Lauren Mariani. She is a soul activator and sacred alchemist. Welcome, laura. How are you today?

Speaker 3:

Very, very well. Thank you, Kelly, for joining me today.

Speaker 2:

I'm so excited to have you Tell us your story. What led you to start your business, live a purposeful life. Let's hear your journey.

Speaker 3:

I've always questioned my life. I think more than anything, I have lived with the question of why me. I've never understood the amount of chaos, the amount of tragedy, the amount. I grew up in a super, super Christian home and scripture didn't align to the life we lived in that. I grew up in a very, very safe home and my mom and dad were literally a safe house for everybody around us and they made sure that if anybody was going through something they moved in with us and I couldn't understand how scripture would allow other people to go through stuff. I just thought it impacted me, why I felt everything. I felt as an empath, why I saw stuff as a psychic or intuitive or both within other people's lives, and so I never understood it was crazy. Until somebody told me it's crazy situation. I'd come home from school and say, mommy, my friend's being raped by her dad and my mom would be like God, I dropped you off at school and were you at school today and I would say it was. But I can just see it and I guess back then there wasn't in a Christian household. That wasn't necessarily something my mom and dad could understand or help with, because back then I think Christianity was just viewed as that's an entity or that, a demonic force or something like that.

Speaker 3:

This led me throughout my entire childhood life to question everything. As a teenager again, and as an adult, I guess all of that just the why me question just led me to depression and anxiety. And because I just couldn't make sense of the world around me, even as a wife, as a mom of two kids, I just couldn't make sense of it at all. And why me? Why do I get to see a world that nobody else is seeing, that nobody else understands? I literally decided that was it. It was I'm done with my life. I picked a day and that was we don't need to go forward with my life any further. And I panicked and I was like God, my Tupperware cupboard is in such a mess and if I left my husband, which lip fits on which lunchbox. And so I said me fun that I had this list of stuff to get done, because I had planned that tomorrow was going to be my last day. And so at that point for today I had a very long list and I plowed through that list and I remember the sense of achievement coming through that and at the same time as picking a day for that.

Speaker 3:

I realized that, certainly with the people here in Zimbabwe. I don't know about the rest of the world, but at the time in Zimbabwe, I couldn't find authenticity. I craved authenticity and I just couldn't find it. I wondered what it would be like to say, hey, I'm Lauren, I'm depressed. Or hey, I'm Lauren, I have anxiety. Or hey, I'm Lauren, I'm painfully shy.

Speaker 3:

And so, within that being, as soon as I was able to brand myself and accept myself as that, I suddenly felt this massive weight lift off me. And that's, I guess, how soul DNA in its entirety was conceived and written by myself over a period of six years or thereabouts, where I wondered what it would look like to stop trying to get rid of everything in your life and start looking at it from a different perspective of what did I need. My depression was the only place where I could find my purpose, and so, even when I counseled depression in its entirety, I realized that it's literally the only place where we can find our purpose, and it's the place where we get to shut out everybody else, all the voices, everything, and we get to sit with our soul. And so that was literally the day I sat on my veranda the day that I found my purpose and the day that I birthed my own authenticity in its entirety.

Speaker 2:

What a story.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Talk to us about soul.

Speaker 3:

DNA, so soul DNA, I can see. If I was to look at you, I'd be able to tell you exactly who your soul is. The same way, we have a very physical DNA. Our appearances, our souls have their own personality and that comes, you know, without, through us. But I guess society has also labeled certain personality traits as good, certain personality traits as bad, and that in itself, I think, has got mixed up along the way.

Speaker 3:

So if I look at people pleasing everybody, it was my people pleasing. Actually, that was one of the things that led me to depression. And so that's when I questioned but I'm doing everything right, but why does it feel so wrong? And so I'm a painfully, painfully shy person, and yet why is that frowned upon?

Speaker 3:

And I guess, within my practicing itself, within my counseling, I would say to people, you know, I'd work with people who stutter or people with extreme anxiety or nervous twitches or whatever it is, and I'd be like just own it, just own it, just stop running.

Speaker 3:

We run from everything in our lives and we try and hide it and bury it and all of these things. Why, if we are naturally have and I think for me I was able to just sit in completely an utter honesty with myself and say I am a naturally depressive person when I am overwhelmed. I've had two weeks that have just been nonstop at the moment and I get a sensory overload and I can feel myself just shutting down slowly and so, and then eventually I get to the point if I left it for another week I would just shut down entirely. If I sit and I communicate with my soul and that's what soul DNA does is it gets you to the point where you no longer seek validation. You cannot seek validation anywhere else other than yourself. There are no answers other than from within.

Speaker 2:

I love that, that's beautiful. I think, we all have on ourselves, I think, some of that not owning what are, because we're all human. We all have strengths and weaknesses, and that's just the nature of being human. But I think because of certain societal beliefs or, if you show vulnerability then, that's a bad thing, but I think, owning and admitting what we struggle with anxiety, depression you find that you're not alone. We are not alone.

Speaker 3:

It can be your strength, though that's like. What I realized is I did a podcast the other night, actually, was it a podcast? No, I didn't. I did it live on my Facebook feed.

Speaker 3:

I spoke about overthinking and anxiety within the soul DNA spectrum and I spoke about there is the human version. I'm trying to find. It was so profound I think I've been that that's how profound it was. And I spoke about the overthinking in our human perspective and overthinking from a soul perspective. And I said overthinking from a human perspective is when we have one question but we think about it like five ways, five ways. Five ways, five ways.

Speaker 3:

Like that was overthinking in a human perspective and that creates a physical anxiety. That's seeking physical solutions. Th overthinking in a soul perspective is where we shoot one thought into the universe and it can send back five different things for us and any one of those is an option. And the only way anxiety can then come in is if we were to plug into Google Maps, for example, a direction and we're driving through a dodgy area and we're like this doesn't feel comfortable, let me lock the doors, let me stay extra vigilant. That's what soul anxiety is there for. So it's there to say to us like hey, trade carefully here you're going through bumpy water, but I've got you. Whereas anxiety in a human perspective is where we become paralyzed within it.

Speaker 2:

Yes, it's almost like you can't see a way out.

Speaker 3:

You cannot. And there's two very distinct. Everything in life became and is a soul perspective and a human perspective. Every physical personality trait became a soul perspective and a human perspective, and how we've distorted it and the two differences between those two.

Speaker 2:

For me, how would you recommend somebody to start tapping into knowing the difference or getting more in connection with that soul, the part of you that that's going to help you get through, whatever it is, your challenges? It's public speaking, you know, or whatever?

Speaker 3:

I think within the soul DNA container. I'm sure it's within there. I speak about a guy, mark Manson. He wrote the subtle art of not giving a part, and so he writes this, a program or an article called fakesfakno. And so if you just Google that he speaks, it's a dating article that's written about the power of the singular. And so if I was to say to you, kelly, teal, coffee, and you were like, actually I'm a coffee person, I was like hey, do you want a cup of tea? Society has taught you to be like don't be rude and ask for coffee. So you would order the tea. And then, whilst you and I are trying to have a meaningful conversation, all you can think about is I hate freaking tea. I wish I had have ordered a coffee. Why didn't I just and you have this fight with yourself. Why didn't you just say no, thank you, why do you accept it? You should have just asked for water. Water would have been great option. And so we make all these decisions. Yes, I know.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I'm resonating so much.

Speaker 3:

When I read the dating article. It spoke about the law of attraction and how, within five seconds, it's a yes or it's a no. When you meet people, it's a yes or it's a no, and I took it so much like. That spoke to me massively and I was like God by the same theory. We should be able to use it universally for everything Started asking myself do I want tea or coffee? And so when people asked me, just the knowledge of that understanding in itself, and I've written activations within my containers for this, within the soul DNA container, to activate your soul in this way where you're able to see your own self sacrifice and own self sabotage by just not saying what it is you want because you're being so polite. It's ingrained in us to well, you, that's not on the menu. And I was like but everything's on the menu. If somebody came to me and was like do you know what I mean? Craving a hot chocolate, have you got hot chocolate? We're like you know I've got two or three different options, which I don't care. I'm boiling the cake off is the point. Whatever that falls with it doesn't matter.

Speaker 3:

And then I started actively implementing it with the people closest to me and being like I'm going there for lunch. I really can't deal with her cooking. What if I took my own food and I'd be like, hey, I made up something for lunch today. I was just inspired whilst I was in the kitchen. Do you mind Like, can I serve it with your lunch? And then everybody can share it as well, and that way I get to eat something nice for lunch. She gets to eat something nice for lunch because she can't cook. No one's just told her that she can't cook, and you know, and it's you know. It becomes a much more authentic life. So for people who want to connect to yourself, going back to your question, start asking yourself do I want that, yes or no? Yes, you won't like the answer. Nine times out of 10 people aren't going to like the answer, but it's there.

Speaker 2:

And I think it's learning that it's okay to say no, it's okay to find a solution that works for you, because you're not honoring yourself If you don't. We're doing it out of obligation. That's not a good thing, or we're worried about hurting someone's feelings. There's always a way to do something like just saying no, thank you. That's not impolite, it's just. You know, I'm a coffee person. I prefer coffee. You know there's nothing impolite about that, but you're right, there's something. It's like we have to unlearn what we've learned along the way.

Speaker 3:

It's so true I put this down over the weekend. It will come out in September on one of my posts, but I pre-write my post as I think about them and I wrote. When we talk about loyalty, we pride ourselves in having this trait. The human version claims it in its entirety and proudly displays it daily. Loyalty in this human version comes tinged with hope, with blinkers and without boundaries. It is this loyalty that has the ability to keep relationships going even though they are toxic. The sole version of loyalty is loyal to one person only yourself. It is the safety net within knowing that the relationship between yourself, your soul and source can never be severed. Loyalty in a sole version sets boundaries with ease, understands space and case less for anything that does not align to oneself. To learn the sole version of loyalty, you must first understand that there can be no cross relationship between these two worlds. I love that.

Speaker 3:

That's very profound yeah that's not something that I I was with a friend and she was struggling with the loyalty of relationships around her, and so I had that in the back of my mind, of you know. She was asking me, why do I stay in these relationships? And so I sat with it for a few days and then got back to her and said your loyalty DNA strand is in full human version.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's about self-love, right? So that relationship you're talking about with your soul is we're not taught. That relationship, I mean as we go through, at least as I was growing up, I grew up in a Catholic household. You know everything is you seek answers outside of yourself and just kind of go in a lawn. You're a sinner.

Speaker 2:

You don't do this, you're gonna go to hell, or so, like there's a lot of things out there that make you feel bad about yourself. As I've grown older and really become spiritually awake, I've had this realization. It's like, well, we're all part of the same thing, of God and divinity, and why would he put us here or she? You know, because it's part of our human nature to make mistakes, to do things. That's how we learn, that's how we grow. I mean, you know, that's how you learn. Sometimes you have to be in a bad relationship to understand what a good relationship is. Not that that has to always be the way of how you learn, so that kind of thing.

Speaker 3:

That's the thing. So when I look back at so much within my life that I just I didn't understand what the hell. And so when I look back at it and I think about my soul contract, my soul contract is to help and heal other people, right, how on earth would I know who, how, what, why, if I hadn't gone through so many different experiences? Yes, you know, if you're going to discuss sexual abuse with somebody and I can relate to them how. If I'm going to discuss rape with somebody, if I'm going to discuss death, even with somebody I died giving birth to my youngest daughter all of these people dying in your arms, or suicide or drugs or whatever, like there was a lot.

Speaker 2:

But if I look at, my soul contract.

Speaker 3:

I'm like, well, try and think like your soul and be like, if this is who I wanted to be, I wasn't going to do that with like smooth sailing. I needed a little bit of resilience in here, so let's just throw in a bit of hardship. I needed to understand, you know, sexual abuse here, so let's just throw that in. I needed to understand rape here let's throw that in. I needed to understand suicide let's throw that in, you know. And so you look at like all of this like little zigzag of life, and suddenly you put that there. You put it there, the universe is for you, it's not against you. You create your own universe. And so at that point, when you take it from that perspective, I asked the question of why not me? And I was like, oh, that makes so much more sense to me. That makes and I started recently writing my autobiography. I think it's going to be an autobiography, I don't.

Speaker 3:

I just started writing. I wrote about six or seven pages and I reread it to my business partner and I was like, oh, my soul wrote that. I didn't write that because I could see trauma so beautifully and the strength to go through that level of bullying because there were other kids in the class that just weren't strong enough to take that level of bullying, whereas I could understand bullying with clarity that it's not them, they're not intentionally hurting me, I'm just the strongest outlet for them. You know, at the time I don't ever remember having trauma about it. I don't ever remember having pain about it. I can remember it wasn't a pleasant experience, but I certainly it didn't leave me with hang ups in life the moment I realized, oh, I had put that into being.

Speaker 2:

Right, it's all part of the evolution, of figuring it out, and I think traumas, challenges, is really often where people do the most growth and that's where I had my spiritual awakening. I went through an infidelity in my marriage and it really it shattered my whole world. So I read something, a channeled message, where it talked about how things happen for you, not to you and that drastically changed really everything in my life and brought me to where I am today, and I think it really does. You know all the things that we go through and I think this is your struggle becomes your strength. You're able to help others see through the darkness, see through what they're going through, and then it gives it purpose for them because maybe they haven't seen that it's hard, I will say, when you're going through very difficult things or terrible traumatic events, it's hard to see a benefit right those situations, they can very much be.

Speaker 3:

But I think that's the soul connection, though that's like one of the things that I've really learned and still learning, because I don't believe we ever get it.

Speaker 3:

I think that even if you achieve what you think you wanted to achieve, it's never enough. We deal with an infinite universe, therefore our goals are going to be infinite, right? I was chatting to somebody the other day and I said, as a varsity students, you can't wait to have a flat on your own. You get to your mid 20s, you suddenly have a little flat on your own and you're like, oh my god, this is the life. And then you could never picture a home with a wife and kids. And the next minute you know it's never, ever ending.

Speaker 3:

You can go through life just expanding, like in whatever aspect in it. So I don't think we ever stop learning it. But I think that when we're connected to our soul and we're able to see what our triggers are if your anxiety creeps up, or if your people please and creeps up, or your rationality, whatever it is that creeps up, and you're able to understand that, hey, that's a trigger for me, and truly dissect our own behavioral patterns and what have you we're then able to understand hey, I'm not going to have the strength to get through this, but my soul is, because it's alerted me already that there's an incoming shit show rolling in and at that point you're able to brace up for it, because your soul is the only one that's going to carry you through that. We think we do it on our own, but the reality we don't physically have the capability of doing that.

Speaker 2:

And the soul is can never be tarnished by anything. Your human can be hurt, yeah, yeah, but your soul cannot. You know your soul is infinite.

Speaker 3:

No, that's the thing you know. I was telling to somebody about forgiveness the other day. It was such a deep conversation because I said it's such a human concept forgiveness it really is. I don't believe that there's forgiveness in a awakened thing at all, because how can they be if you called it into being?

Speaker 2:

Interesting a way of looking at that is it's what you agreed to be part of or set up for yourself, so there really is no need for forgiveness in that. It's a very human way of looking at it. Right Like this person wronged me, but 100% of what you're saying I totally agree with is that we enter into this life with a contract that certain things are going to happen.

Speaker 2:

We still have free will. We can still do things of our own choice and go any which way we decide, but there are certain things that we agree to and you're right. I guess that really helps with the forgiveness aspect, because you have to accept that I came here to overcome and to learn this and to learn through this part of my journey, and I think it's very human to question stuff.

Speaker 3:

I still question a lot, but it is very human to question stuff. But at the same time, I think, because we just haven't been taught any other way. That's the thing. So we can ask our soul why am I going through that? If we take even infidelity, why am I going through that?

Speaker 3:

I was helping somebody else the other day within their relationship with infidelity and I said I asked them this question. I was like can I ask a genuine question? How long were you wanting to get out of the relationship for? I was like don't even bullshit. Like you were wanting. There was a moment and I pinpointed the exact month and year that you knew you should have got out, but you didn't. Your soul told you get out and you didn't. And they were like how do you know that If your soul knew you had to get out, the only way to get out is to call in infidelity so that you can now be set free for your awakening. There was no other way. This was going to play, because your soul whispered get out. And you're like nah, you don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that's interesting.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and that was really like they sat there and they're like, actually I remember he went out one night and he got back really late and I lay there in bed and I was like she said, I knew it with every fiber of my being, but I didn't call it. Well then, obviously yourself knew that you weren't going to do it. So let's call in infidelity, because that's your boundary, and you're going to be like get out. It's time for my awakening. Get out. You're not part of that contract.

Speaker 2:

Really interesting. I'm still married, so I don't know what does that mean for me?

Speaker 3:

Like I'm saying, it's not even that good, because your soul, the fact that you're still married, your soul, would be the year awakened.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I saw a quote on your web page that I thought was really interesting. Less than 15 percent of the population have truly activated their purpose and live their dream. How interesting and profound is that? I know you're living your dream. I read your stuff and you work three days a week and you do all this. Not even that anymore, actually. Oh, that's hey, that's amazing and I think a lot of people listening. You know, because we're programmed. You got to work hard, you've got to do the things you've got to hustle, you've got to do all this stuff. How do you recommend or have tips for people to try to change that belief system, to try to convert their life in a way, because it really doesn't make sense to work hard till you're 60 or 70 years old and then maybe, if you're lucky, get to enjoy your retirement Right Like that doesn't make sense.

Speaker 3:

I think for me one of the biggest things has been I came out of school, I qualified as a chef. I then met my husband. He wasn't part of the plan and we moved away, moved back to Zimbabwe and I qualified in the interior day call. But underneath everything, I remembered this memory a couple of months ago where we left a party in our 20s. Both of us had had a bit to drink and I remember saying to him one day I'm going to stand up and heal marriages and people. And he is like whatever, you're drunk and we laughed about it. But that really got me because I said to him as a kid, like young age, I knew I wanted to be a missionary of sorts, because that's what in my Christianity, that's what it was.

Speaker 3:

And I think that over as we grow up, our parents expectations of being a doctor, be a lawyer I mean, if your kids automatically smart, then they've got to hit some you know high power career. Your, you know, your genius kid is not going to turn around and say, hey, I'm going to be an artist, it's just not going to. As a parent, we're not taught to allow that. We have higher expectation for the brainier kids and lower expectation for the not so brainy kids. And so I think when we talk about our purpose, it's going back to what is it that lights your soul on fire? And I think for so many people that has been beaten out of them, either through words or through and I use the word beaten because energetically it is that where it's like. That's a silly dream, that's a silly hope, that's a silly comment. Why would you do that? There's no money in that. And so the passion. There's an alchemy that happens between your soul connection and I'm going to say soul DNA, because it is a life changing experience, because there's alchemy within that and understanding your purpose. And I think soul DNA helps activate that purpose because if you have whimsy that was taken out of you as a kid and it's been lying dormant for 30 years, for example, by activating that whimsy back into your life, that could be your purpose within. Whimsy it could be your purpose within.

Speaker 3:

I'm trying to think I did some one for somebody the other day. It was the love of food and like they I mean they're quite savage the way they eat and I like when I was doing they sold me an ad never met this person before. I keep smelling stuff, cooking, really wholesome food cooking, and I'm going, there's a love of food within your soul, dna. And they just started, you know, sobbing and they were like we were told that as a kid, don't wish for anything more like these people starving out there. These people listen. So we always felt guilty for the food we ate and we buried that. And so, just by activating that within them, they've started like their own writing recipes that they don't even know where these recipes are coming from. It's like they channeling recipes. And so I was like, well, there it is, and the minute you have activated your purpose and you're able to live that soul based life and soul based decision making, there's an Elk, a universal alchemy that can take place for your lifestyle.

Speaker 2:

For those listening who aren't familiar with the term alchemy, could you give them a little bit of an idea of what you mean by that?

Speaker 3:

Literally magic. We talk about people being lucky, we talk about people casting spells, we talk about generally alchemy is taken as a negative and we don't know what to do with it, or we assume it's a witch's cauldron. It's not that at all. When we talk about somebody who wins the lottery, there's an alchemy in that there's a blending of energies, there's a blending of different things that happens when that moment occurs. And so if we change our entire belief system and we realize who we are in authenticity, we're able to stand in a power that is no different to being God himself. Yes, if each one of us is created in his image, how do we get there? The only way he is who he is or she is who she is. It is who it is is because it understands its power. We have no concept of our own power because we're not even able to name 10 qualities about ourselves that are in alignment with soul. That is absolutely true and if we?

Speaker 2:

realize how powerful we were. You know how different our lives would truly be.

Speaker 3:

I actively teach my kids. I do it every morning. Your feet will not touch the ground until you have activated your entire being to be a star player. It's as simple as that you lie there and you call it into being.

Speaker 3:

And you say, if I'm standing next to God and I am part of him, what does it feel like, what does it look like, what does it smell like, what does it feel like? And you go there and what magic would I have, what power could I hold, what good could I do, what damage could I do? And you understand your life as a whole. Then you put your feet on the ground and start your day.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, what an awesome way to think about it. I think I'm going to do that every day now.

Speaker 2:

And I want to do it with my kids. I really think I'm very passionate about teaching kids powerful mindset about energy, about how to navigate the world and how to understand the things around us. So I really love that you just brought that up about children and teaching them that because if we teach them that early enough, as they grow into adulthood, I mean they will be I mean I truly believe this they will be like unstoppable in a very positive way.

Speaker 2:

You know, they'll be more in tune with themselves, they have a better understanding. If you have an understanding of what you're going through, you know that there's a lesson that you're learning. You're not, as you don't have those chips on your shoulders, the anger and the bitterness. You don't have that. You let all of that go.

Speaker 3:

And if somebody else, like if somebody else happens to notice something. My daughter and I she is turning 14 at the end of the year and we were talking about probably a lesser thing of bullying. You know, she's going through puberty or pre-puberty and it's the whole greasy hair and oily skin and whatever. And it had been noticed by her peer group and it didn't bother her as much Like it must have to some extent, because she came through and was like I don't know how to deal when the kid comes to you and you can see and she's like oh my God, you guys have you seen?

Speaker 3:

I said jump in right there and claim it and be like oh my God, you're going to talk about my hair again. You're going to talk about my skin again. You must love my hair and skin. Do you think about anything other than my hair and skin? Because all you talk about is my hair and skin. You say it like I can't see it. And so she was like mom and I was like do it when you claim it. You're going through it, love, I can't help you through it. Worldwide. We all went through it. Worldwide. It's got to happen. I said, and just when you think you're nailing life, we're going to go through menopause. So I said this is a worldwide phenomenon.

Speaker 2:

So it's so true. It's so true. I have a certain Just name it.

Speaker 3:

And so she couldn't wait to go to school. It was so cute. And she went to school and she was like, as this kid open. In fact, the first day the kid didn't even say anything. She was like it was so deflating, I was waiting for it. But the kid did bring it up at some point and she like said it. And the kid was like, no, that's not what I was going to say. She was like but it was, and so that's it Done. The bullying has stopped. It's done. We don't even need to bring it up again. And I said anytime somebody brings it up, just be like oh my God, do you think about me all day? Like I'm just asking, because all you comment on is this. So I'm wondering like, do you got a big thinking about my hair? Do you have nothing else to think about? Like do you know?

Speaker 2:

what I mean Right Like where's your mom?

Speaker 3:

and dad Like do you not do stuff together as a family, that you have to think about my hair all the time? I'm just asking, it's fine.

Speaker 2:

But just asking Love this. I have a 13 year old son who goes through. I mean, the age is rough, it's a little rough.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

But I absolutely love it. I've told him you have to stand up for yourself and you have to, and I just love the way that you phrased to that I couldn't stand up for myself.

Speaker 3:

That was one of the things within SoulDNA is when I looked at what I can and I can't do because so many people by nature people view me as confrontational, and I'm not. I physically don't have the ability to be confrontational and there is a SoulDNA, a confrontational SoulDNA strand, but I'm an extremely passionate person. So when I get excited about stuff, the energy is so close to confrontation that it's misunderstood about it. And yet, equally, within my SoulDNA I have a sadist and the sadist is actually within my good personality. It doesn't often come out, so when I take like the sadist and I that's how I problem solve it I take my sadist and my problem solver and I'm like some kids being a dick to my kid how am I going to fix this?

Speaker 3:

And you sit in your soul and you're like somebody's going to die, not being confrontational, but this is my kid, and so you problem solve it together with the sadist and at that point we've got a funny situation. Nobody's going to get hurt out of it. It's not a bad thing. You think about me all the time, even when you go to bed you're dreaming about my beautiful, greasy hair and it's a win-win?

Speaker 2:

It is, and it immediately puts a levity to the situation and it just changes it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and they're not going to try it again. They're not going to try it again. I love that.

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh, that's so powerful. I loved everything that we've talked about today. You really are an amazing. I mean, you've just got so much beautiful things to share. Do you want to talk about your programs? Tell people what you offer and how they can work with you, yeah, so.

Speaker 3:

I stopped doing one-on-one sessions. I wanted to help more and so I built a group program, but it's an individual group program. So SoulDNA. There are other programs. On my website there's a purpose activator. That is a very short, sweetened what have you, but ultimately will lead to SoulDNA. And then after, souldna is a tribe container. That is mind-blowing, but I strongly recommend that SoulDNA is done before anything, because there's something within its beauty of understanding who you are. So the SoulDNA container in itself is a three to six month container, depending on where we're at, and I'm very mindful that SoulWork takes years to do. Oh sure.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, and everybody at their own speed, and so there's the initial. The start of the container is a really good tantrum later, because throwing an epic tantrum is the only place that honesty can come through, and so I thought about how many times I've wanted to murder my husband and how many? How many times we've called divorce and how many times we've called separation. We went through this very similar it wasn't infidelity, same energy, though with my husband, and that was a six month separation.

Speaker 3:

While I calmed down and rationalized my life, there was you know, there is, and so that's what I'm saying is it needs to be real. So when I looked at the energetics about, I never if I took my husband's situation, I wasn't allowed to get angry because he was in a rough place and he did what he did and right. They just has to be all this grace and acceptance and he was sorry and he's my husband's an incredible man. Looking in hindsight, he is the patience of Job to be like with my 13 different personalities. But I wasn't allowed.

Speaker 3:

I realized that we frown upon tantrum so much when I lose my temper. It's part of soul DNA that by the time you've lost your temper and irrationality comes in. That's where pure honesty can come in. And so the start of the soul DNA container is a tantrum letter that sums up your life and that, for me, is an epic way to open. Rather than going in gently, we start with honesty. There's an activation for the tantrum. That's incredible, I love it.

Speaker 3:

There's people that to some people it's a page and to some people it's a 14-page rant about life, and I love it. There's no right or wrong. And then from there we do an actual soul alignment where we go through the soul DNA codes, the soul, DNA strands and the individual things, and there is a one-on-one appointment for that. It's a very intense one, and then thereafter there's a workbook, a step-by-step workbook, to go through. There's online support, online tutorials. There's a whole bunch of support with that, but it's incredible it really really is and there's no. I refuse to be to hold anybody accountable. We've all got to take responsibility for our own lives. There's various weekly meets that happen. There's various check-ins that happen. If somebody was to expect me to push them, it's not going to happen. It's entirely on their terms how badly you want to connect to your soul.

Speaker 2:

Yes, it's got to be self-led. Nobody can do anything for you or fix anything for you. You've got to do it for yourself. Nobody's going to save you, that's right. You got to do it for yourself. You've got to save yourself, and we are fully capable of that. We are fully capable of stepping into our power and owning everything and evolving and moving past it.

Speaker 3:

We're all capable of that? Absolutely More than capable. We've got this yeah absolutely, my husband's still alive. I'm capable of anything.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was going to say exactly I love my husband too. He's a wonderful man too. I mean, we're all human, we do things. You shouldn't hold your whole life over things.

Speaker 3:

But you know, it was so interesting for me, kelly, as I, looking back, it's now I'm just trying to work out 14, so probably 10 years now. But when I look back into the my husband and I separating for six months, I never gave him the space to fail. The same way, my family never gave me the space to fail. He had no option to come to me and say, hey, I screwed up. He didn't have that option because I was going to go batshit crazy, right.

Speaker 3:

Whereas if he had come to me before and said, hey, I grew up in a pastor's home, I've never done nothing in my life. You're the only woman I've ever been with. Can you give me a whole past? For just a weekend I would have been like I'm not happy about it, but thanks for letting me know. Go, and I could have rationalized that and given space for that, but I didn't, because we all have to be perfect, right? I think probably one of my biggest regrets was, before I was awakened in my spirituality, was not understanding the concept of space and how much space to give friendships and relationships and myself even that was a huge thing, yeah, and everything isn't always necessarily about us.

Speaker 2:

It's like seeing it from a different perspective is this isn't about me, and being able to move from that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I think that's within the SoulDNA container I speak about it a lot where I think we start off the. I can't remember. We start off the container very focused on ourselves on a much more outward level, and we just keep going deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper, until you've built a relationship that is entirely between and a world that is entirely selfish, and you and yourself. So, even with your relationships with your kids, you're able to almost disconnect in its entirety, because then there's no expectation on them and there's no influence on them. You're just a vessel and you get to the point of understanding that your human representation is just a vessel for a spirit that needed a place to live.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and I think too, you have to fill yourself first. Absolutely, you cannot serve others from an empty cup. I've learned that, probably later than I would have liked to. Yeah, yeah, it's really important to take the time that you need for yourself, whether that's journaling, exercise, meditation, you know.

Speaker 3:

Whatever it is that you find where you yourself that is so important and you asked me earlier about the three hour work week and I'm laughing that it's even less now. I think we look at our lives from a human perspective. Right, we're in a little rat wheel and we're running and we, just as long as we're busy, we're productive, we are working to earn an income and we're doing this to that. At no point did we check in with our soul and say, hey, is there a shortcut? Right, just saying hey, is there something I could be doing where I could earn four times the amount of money you know than I'm currently earning, but I could make a greater impact. So that's why, when I started an individual group program, I was like, well, that's never been done before, but why not? Like the idea is there?

Speaker 3:

Where did that come from? Exactly, yeah, so I was like, well, I'm not, I just don't even care, because if my soul is telling me to do it, soul DNA in its entirety is not practiced or taught anywhere else in the world the way I, it just literally a copyrights title. At that point, where did that come from? Am I going to sit in a corner and think, well, no one else is speaking, maybe I'm crazy, or I can just be like you know what? Actually, I went through 20 odd years of hell to write this container, which I needed to experience in order to write the container, so that made sense. This is what it's going to cost and I'm really good at my job and I give my best to my job, but I also want to sit down and take my bubble bath and spend time with my kids and potter around my house and I've done the work of my 20 years of training.

Speaker 3:

Yes, we're all on the race.

Speaker 2:

And we're all worthy. We are abundances are birthright you know, it's all things again. I feel like it goes back to like unlearning things that you're conditioned.

Speaker 3:

Everything I write within the container itself. Final chapter. I lost my temper writing the final chapter and I said society has taught us to think before we speak. I beg you and I plead with you speak before you think, stop thinking. It is the mother of all stuff. Just stop thinking. Just build a relationship with your soul where you trust the next word coming out your mouth is soul based, regardless of what it is, whether it's your temper, whether it's your sadist, whether it's your narcissist, whether it's your people, please, your shyness, I don't care, but let it be an authenticity Absolutely.

Speaker 2:

What would your closing thoughts be today for the audience?

Speaker 3:

For the audience. I genuinely want you to stand in your own power, and so, for those that want to activate or find their purpose, there's plenty of free resources on my website dude that activate your soul. One that's a good starting point. But if you want to do none of that, lie in bed and start thinking about if I am made in the image of God. It is written across every religion. You can call it source.

Speaker 3:

You can call it mother nature, I don't care, but you are made in the image of that being. I want you to lie there and feel it and see it and start living it and just feel those tingles. And if those tingles are saying you can do this, then do it so powerful that's just beautiful. How can?

Speaker 2:

people find you? What are your socials, your?

Speaker 3:

website. Social media on Facebook, lauren, mariani, they also discover your soul DNA Facebook page. That's incredible, I think. The other two pages I've shut down for now. They are just oversubscribed so we've closed them down for a little bit, but there is soul DNA. That will always be open. On Instagram is, mariani, lauren? Technical issues on my side and then on my website.
