12 - The Jewish Folk Songs

Kaplan's art is in many ways also a work of translation: the translation of literary and textual worlds into the language of form and color. At this station we will see the prints he created based on Jewish folk songs, in which his work of translation was twofold - both of the Yiddish word, and of the klezmer melody that accompanies it.
