Speaker 1:

we're number one. Jimmy is being a cheap ass. You know I'm like damn. You heard it here first right right, right, we're the best you know. They say people that cuss are more honest. I'm honest. Put the fish away, reggie. It don't even hurt to give birth, not for me, nothing to it.

Speaker 2:

Okay, let's do it. Come on, I'm I'm ready, I'm ready. Let's do it. Come on, I'm ready, I'm ready, I want to do it. I'm wearing a bomb.

Speaker 2:

I got one on right now you want to see Jimmy and Geek Madhouse Bar Talks. Baby, that is a bunch of shit. If you ask me, that ain't make no sense. Good morning, sunday morning, bar talk on top of Madhouse Bar and Grill Again, again, take two. Yeah, I think we got it worked out. I don't know. We'll see. If I start cussing, you'll know why. All right, oh yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, technical difficulties, it happens, I guess. So we had already got into it, but I guess we'll get back into it. The house that hit Amanda said it was a muffler when she had called in, it hit that fireplace and it hit the muffler. And then the other one was Abbey Road. I wish she had told us where the third one I know there was three of them. I think one was like maybe lake avenue or something, right, I don't know that. Hasan too. Hasan got hit too. Did you know that?

Speaker 2:

when good deal used cars when that's why there's plywood on it right now. Oh yeah, some car. The thing is somebody drove into his, into his gas station and into that right through the thing, and they were out there with the police and the police are like talking about you know the the accident with them and they got a report of another one that hit uh, I think it was. It was at o'reilly's maybe or something right there by the speedway or something. So they left and went, went to go get that one and and it was the same guy. He had left there and like hit somebody over by Wendy's, then he hit somebody over on Lake Avenue and then he hit the O'Reilly's or something I think it was. It was crazy. I mean it was just like. I mean that guy was just and it was an old man just like freaking, plowing into shit and keep going.

Speaker 1:

You see the way these people are driving. Now, though, it's crazy. Like in the mornings we're driving on 611. You go up to the light and there'll be like five cars behind that. Just cross the lane. Go all the way through through the light. You're like damn, just driving like an animal yeah. It's like damn, where's the cop when you need him? Yeah, that's nuts.

Speaker 2:

They said that the one that hit that house. They said that was drinking and driving involved or something, something to that effect. But that's scary, dude. A house like freaking hit your house. You're just chilling at home and you hear that, oh my God, a house hit your house.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, a house hit your house.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that would be scary. The house hit the house. It was like up.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

The movie Up house. It was like up yeah the movie up.

Speaker 1:

I never saw it.

Speaker 2:

You never seen that movie. It's a cartoon. It's cute. It's an old guy. He put some balloons on his house and it blows away, flies away or whatever. No, it's a cute movie, it's good. Somebody who ever made that was pie when they made it um, I don't know, and it doesn't seem like that, that's like what I feel like about telly tubbies, and it seems like they'd have to be stoned to do that what about them?

Speaker 1:

what like them?

Speaker 2:

scary movies like, like the the funny ones, no, the scary ones, the actual scary movies yeah, somebody had to be on some to make them some of them either, or they're, or they're twisted in their head like, yeah, that's, that's the spielberg in their head like, yeah, that's, that's the spielberg, yeah, no, no, no, what was? That? What other one? Uh, what the hell's his name? West craven? I don't know, that's a nightmare. On elm street is west craven that kind of shit m night shalaman he's the weird one.

Speaker 2:

m night shalaman movies are all off the hook, like that's the one with, like the people in the woods or whatever Under the stairs.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that weird shit. Yeah, yeah, somebody took some bad shit.

Speaker 2:

And then Stephen King with his Pet Sematary. Stephen King, that's who I'm thinking of. Yeah, Pet Sematary was pretty crazy. Creepy, creepy shit.

Speaker 1:

Ain't he the one that started copying off Alfred Hitchcock and being in like a little clip in each one of his movies? Was he? I don't know? Yeah, I think so.

Speaker 2:

I know that somebody said something. Wes Craven, I think, did that in Nightmare on Elm Street. I think he might be like a janitor or something.

Speaker 1:

Stephen King does that shit. He played a cop in one of them Like a goofy cop Really, I didn't know that. Yeah, yeah, he played a cop in one of them like a goofy cop or something, really.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I didn't know that. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Alfred Hitchcock's the one that started that shit. They see him like walking across the street or something.

Speaker 2:

yeah, I've never been in the scary movies. I really ain't Not my thing. No, thank you. That, uh, that, uh, uh scream ones I like, though I don't know why, but those ones kind of resonate with me.

Speaker 1:

I like those I think because they're more realistic, realistic yeah, very realistic.

Speaker 2:

Like the first one, yeah, as shit. Like it could actually happen. Exactly how it's going down in a movie. Like there's no special forces, there's no, I don't know what do you call it there's no religious aspects to it. Like no Satan, no devil, no evil, no ghost. No, it's like just two teenage kids that were sick and twisted. Yeah, that shit could actually happen. Every inch of it could be actually go down realistically. So I kind of like that part of it. Maybe I think that might've been it. Like the. Like the the Halloween movies are just like odd to me. Like that's just like this. Like that part of it. Maybe I think that might have been it. Like that. Like the the halloween movies are just like odd to me. Like that's just like this guy. He's walking like real slow and he's catching everybody all the time like I mean, it just doesn't.

Speaker 1:

It just doesn't resonate with me he's walking too slow to catch him yeah, I mean he's just slow at like a slow pace and like catches up to him somehow. Always, yeah, he just ends up getting them yeah, it just does.

Speaker 2:

It's weird. And he never dies, never dies. The guy never dies, like I mean, and that one I remember the one was, it was uh, she like takes the ambulance and kills him. That was like one of the newer ones, I can't remember what that was. At the end of the movie she like freaks out, takes the ambulance and kills him. That was like one of the newer ones, I can't remember what that was. At the end of the movie she like freaks out, takes the ambulance and goes and kills him, stabs him and shit, like in the back of the ambulance, but I think like the ambulance wrecks and he still ends up living through it all. But it's like that's her whole thing. He's dying this time, you know, because he's always coming after her. What's her name? Jamie?

Speaker 1:

Curtis. Yeah, jamie Lee Curtis.

Speaker 2:

Jamie Lee Curtis yeah, she was hot too back in her day. Oh, yeah, she did that, even that. Remember? She did that one with Arnold Schwarzenegger, yeah, where she was dancing.

Speaker 1:

Oh my.

Speaker 2:

God, yeah, she did. Yeah, she did. The other thing we got into before we got interrupted with technical difficulties was that stabbing that happened at Giant Eagle. Three-year-old kid gone because some woman like just walks in there and she's walking around with the knife in the store.

Speaker 2:

I don't understand like how nobody noticed that she's walking with a butcher knife just like at her side. Literally, she was literally. It's like. They have video. The video they show her. She's just walking around, the knife is like right to her side and she spots just random people, walks out, follows them and just starts attacking them for no apparent reason. I can't even understand Like I don't even see like other than race, like there's a race aspect, like one's white, one's black, but they I mean it's not like the woman she attacked was much different than her. She was like about the same build weight, everything is her different than her. She was like about the same build weight, everything is her like. There was not like. It's not like. Maybe she was going after someone she thought was pretty or she just randomly picked someone, was like that person. Boom, you're gone with a knife.

Speaker 1:

Yeah that's that's random. That's that's what that means.

Speaker 2:

You should just randomly pick someone yeah, and then went and stole the knives from next door like that. Like that, like just literally got out of, like she was literally in the jailhouse with a wheelchair with all her stuff in a wheelchair a half hour before that in the jail and then walked over there, stole that knife, went in there, found that person and then followed them out and started killing them, tried to kill them, tried to kill them, tried to kill her, Killed her son. But why would you attack a three-year-old? Like a three-year-old kid, like why would you attack the kid? I don't even understand that Like you would. Just why would you even do that?

Speaker 1:

That's mental. That ain't got nothing to do with the kid or the mother.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, order of mother. Yeah, that's, that's insane and that's the world. And that's the same place. Like I said, that's the same place where that murder suicide happened, where the husband went in and killed his wife. That was. She was worked there 20 years or something. They said I forgot, maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. She worked there a while though and she works there and they're freaking stabbing him. It's crazy, crazy, crazy. So I went down to St Lad's checked out I was out on their patio that bar out there. I like that bar out there. It's nice, real nice.

Speaker 2:

Jeff says he's not open to it yet. You know he's got this going right now, but for some he's been having all kinds of issues. I guess he tried to paint the floor and he was saying and I don't know, he's getting a late start to the summer, he said. He said he don't even care. He's like I'm over this shit now. I mean, I get it, you get it's exhausting and you constantly got to do stuff to. For one, you got to constantly do stuff to keep people interested. If you're going to own a bar, you one, you got to constantly do stuff to keep people interested. If you're going to own a bar. You have to always do something that keeps them interested in coming in. You know what I mean, right, like when we first put the bar outside it was the huge draw. You know what I mean At that time. But now it's kind of just a thing and it's not a big draw like it was, so it's like the lake.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm saying what do you mean? People that first move here are at the beach every day. When's the last time you've been to the beach?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I never go to the beach.

Speaker 1:

That's what.

Speaker 2:

I'm saying, but some people do, like Andre and his wife Randy, they were up there. They look like they're as dark as you are, both of them. They're at the beach every day. They live and men are on the lake and it's like the. The neighborhood they live in has a community beach. They have like a trail that goes back to the beach and then there's like a gate. You got to have the code to get into it. But they have their own private beach there and they they're there all the time and then they're next to the men are yacht club.

Speaker 1:

So they're, I think they're members there too. I'm not talking a few individuals, I'm talking, you know, general. Most people don't go down there or like live here. I haven't been there in years.

Speaker 2:

Well, I think that some of that has to do with the trouble that goes on down there. When we were younger, you know, there was a lot of like it got to the. When I was a kid, I remember we would go to Lakeview and it would be packed. When I was a kid, I remember we would go to Lakeview and it would be packed. When I was a kid I remember it was always packed. You'd go down there. The whole beach would be full. I mean it was packed. And then, I think as a teenager, I would go down there on occasion, but it always seemed like there was some bullshit going on down there.

Speaker 1:

It's like now.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean, and it's just like I didn't want to deal with it, you know.

Speaker 1:

But I'm just saying, like on a day time like today, most people we know don't go down there. It's there. I know people that come down from out of town and they want to go to the beach.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Like okay.

Speaker 2:

I mean Lakeview's a nice ass beach. Yeah, it really is Lakeview's real nice. I always prefer to go like I always liked going to the little beach next to no, the little beach next to the pier there, I don't know what you would call that, no, not Well, I liked Holonawal. We used to love to go there too, but no, that little beach that's right there next to the jackalope or whatever off, that little one that's on the side oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that was always my go-to spot.

Speaker 2:

I always liked going there, but I think now they don't want you swimming there. Yeah, probably not. I think they've been telling people not to go in there and go. You know what I mean. I don't know, I don't know why, but that was always my favorite spot to go to. I liked it down there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we used to sneak to that hole in the wall and have little fire and stuff. That was pretty cool.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you can't really go there now. They throw a fit. I couldn't even find it. I tried to show it to Amanda I mean, I've showed it to her. From the water we go out because when we're on a boat you can go there. With a jet ski you can go right up to the beach. But I tried to show her, like, where we park and go down. I couldn't find it anywhere. I couldn't find it. I mean, literally I was trying to find a path because it used to be easy.

Speaker 1:

You just go right there. And it was a path. Yeah, you just. Wherever you find a path, you just follow it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and you'll end up there, and I could not find that path for nothing.

Speaker 1:

It's probably not like the way it's not warring like how it was, yeah.

Speaker 2:

It might be overgrown or something, but you would think you'd still be able to see it. I mean, I know that was a cool spot though that was a real cool spot and you know it never had trouble down there and you could go down there, you could stay late. That was a cool thing, like we would go there late night and just uh, start a bonfire on the beach and just chill.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean. Yeah, you can't do that nowadays. Brian says it's closed off. Now is it closed off like they? They just closed the whole thing off. He don't know it, says I think so he don't eat sure I can't find it. I went looking for it, I tried to show it to amanda and I just could not find it but it was it was.

Speaker 1:

It was a cool spot. I'd probably enjoy it more now be honest with you.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, it was awesome. It was a nice little spot. The thing is, though, that, because we were going there with the boat a little bit, we would go there, but I don't like it there because it's too rocky on your feet. You know what I mean. Like you go and the same thing's true with the beach next to the pier is the same way it's rocky on your feet, but you go, like where we go out in huron. I mean it's like it's four feet deep forever and you can, and it's all soft. You know what I mean. Like it's like a sandbar, basically, you know. I mean, your feet are like comfy, you can relax. You ain't hurting your feet and cutting them on rocks and glass and stuff.

Speaker 2:

They did it 10 years. It was more than 10 years ago, brian, because 10 years ago is when I was trying to show it to amanda. It was it. I mean, I was like, right when I met Amanda so you're talking 15 years ago or something I tried to show it to her and I could not find it. I had no clue where it was at. I went looking for it, trying to show it to her. I was like it's really cool, I swear to.

Speaker 1:

God, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it sucked. The parking is still there, like that U-turn where you used to park. That's still there. Yeah, that's still there. I don't know why that was ever there, I have no idea. And a lot of people go there still. They just go on boat or jet skis. They go to that area. Yeah, they just go out there. Yeah, there's always boats right there.

Speaker 1:

For one. I wonder who owns that property.

Speaker 2:

I don't know. It might go to the marina there, possibly Because it's attached, like right to it's attached to what is that? Beaver North? It's right there on Beaver North and I remember when I was a kid, beaver North had this huge party.

Speaker 2:

I don't know what I know, wmms was there and they had the inflatable Budweiser's there and all that stuff and it was like kind of flowing into hole in the wall over there. That party was. I went, I was a kid, I was with my mom and her friends or whatever. They all went there. It was the coolest thing I ever remembered seeing over there.

Speaker 1:

It was like well, I thought it was the coolest. There's a couple cool spots out in black river, like when we was kids oh yeah, the 40s and you go way down and it opened up and it was kind of like where the water hit and then it made like a pond and then it carried to the other side, yeah, but in the middle was like a little pond, so it wasn't like a river, you know right, it was still right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we used to go there and we had a rope and we would swing off of that. Man, we were way up there I'm trying to think how high I bet you we were like 25 feet in the air coming off that cliff with that rope swinging into the river. That was a blast. That was fun. Man, they don't have that. They took that away with the metro parks. Essentially, they took all that fun shit away. We went down there and that's all we did. I mean, that's, our whole childhood was down over the hill. That's what we called it over the hill where Han does you know, yeah, we had garden holes tied to a tree.

Speaker 1:

We climbed down that cliff. Old man cut it, we had to walk around. Oh, we was pissed.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we used to go down that garden hose. I didn't know whose it was though.

Speaker 1:

No, it was just random.

Speaker 2:

I don't know who put it there. But yeah, we used to use that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, your fat ass, go down there now, you'll snap that thing.

Speaker 2:

Man, I'm man, I'm down. 30 pounds, 209 right now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we was kids then you're talking 90 pounds. Yeah, maybe 100, 110, 120, maybe going down a garden hose, yeah, you're snapping now you think so hell?

Speaker 2:

yeah, they built them better back then. I'm not talking about one of them, cheap, stretchy ones they have today.

Speaker 1:

No, hell, no yeah, we used to climb down that thing and it's so dangerous man oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

Well, I mean we were riding mini bikes and four-wheelers and three-wheeler. I mean three-wheelers are all outlawed. That's all anybody had back then and now they won't even make them no more because they tip too much. Yeah, that's I mean that was, that was good times and that and that was part of the whole Homewood thing. Like that was. Like you know, if you went out you grew up in that area Everybody had a 50. Everybody would be over the hill, everybody would be.

Speaker 1:

So we was like 15. Some other guys were probably like 18, 19. They'd be down there shooting and shit, oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we'd go down there. Bobby would bring like pellet guns and BB guns and shit. We'd have BB gun fights down there no guys were shooting .22s. No, no, we were shooting pellets and BB guns. We were kids, we weren't allowed to have .22s. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

The older guys were out there shooting in the river .22s and stuff.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we would shoot each other with BB guns and shit down there, but we had like a two-pump rule, so you don't puncture. Nobody I used to cheat I used to pump the shit out of that thing. You did Fuck yeah. To see that now I'm going to go ahead and say you deserve that fricking double bubble Shit. That was just a karma double bubble.

Speaker 1:

I shot the shit out of Brad Mowry one time. Yeah, oh yeah, his foot was hanging out from a tree and I seen it and I was like ah. I just pumped that sucker up and pow, he started screaming that wasn't too bad. Started chasing me and shit, but I was up the hill so I had a pretty good head start on him. That's funny. He'll talk about it to me this week For me saying it on here. He listens to it. Oh, he does.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I didn't know that I ain't seen him in forever.

Speaker 1:

He said he's going to come in this week.

Speaker 2:

He's coming in here. I seen Scott Dobo yesterday. He said he's going to stop in too. He hasn't stopped in at all.

Speaker 1:

I haven't seen him. He's never been here Since you got the bar, what?

Speaker 2:

how many years ago? Yeah, Louie's a liar. Yeah, he's a big liar At this point. Yeah, he's just a liar, liar, louie.

Speaker 2:

But Dobo said he was going to come in and then he was saying that his parents came in for Lent. And he was saying that his parents came in for Lent and he was saying that they, they were going on and on about how great it was. And then he goes yeah, that's the kid we grew up with, like you know that's Jimmy Tucker and you know Rowdy's nephew, and they're like what? And she's like he's like yeah, that's who it is, that's who owns it. And he's like saying they were telling how good it was and they liked it, or whatever. He's like saying they were telling him how good it was and they liked it, or whatever. He said he's got to come in.

Speaker 2:

I don't see him that much anymore. He used to be like one of those ones that would be always out and about, but he ended up with kids later in life. He went on with them later, when it was not whatever you want to call it. I had my kids young, I started young Cut three inches, bend the end and shoot them. What the hell is he talking about? Did you do that? I don't know what he's talking about. He said use a steel coat hanger, cut three inches, bend the end and shoot them Like through the BB gun. Is that what he's talking about? He's got some body somewhere that sounds dangerous, I think you could kill somebody with that.

Speaker 2:

Poor kids, no BBs. Oh, poor kids. That's how poor kids did it With three inches, though, damn you could just cut off a little tip.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's so you could pull them out of yourself.

Speaker 2:

It's like a handle.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so you can pull them out.

Speaker 2:

Jesus Christ.

Speaker 1:

What the hell is he talking?

Speaker 2:

about yeah, bbs were cheap, man, everybody could afford BBs Hell yeah, I mean, they weren't no money.

Speaker 1:

Then you pick them up with your Zet, bro. You find them and pick them up, put them back in your gun.

Speaker 2:

I don't remember ever doing that.

Speaker 1:

Shit, I did Really. Yeah, you have a target or something and you keep shooting at the target and there's a bunch of BBs laying there. You run out of BBs. You go pick up the BBs.

Speaker 2:

I don't think I ever did that, but we never shot at targets or nothing.

Speaker 1:

We'd just go out in the woods and shoot trees and everything. My mom was mad.

Speaker 2:

She beat my ass. You shot your window out with your BB gun.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it ricocheted and came right back.

Speaker 2:

Did she take the BB gun from? You?

Speaker 1:

I think I hit it before she came, god, but she whooped my ass.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, kid's shit was fun.

Speaker 1:

I don't know what happened to that window.

Speaker 2:

You don't know.

Speaker 1:

No, but I got an ass whooping for it. She knew.

Speaker 2:

You better hope she ain't listening.

Speaker 1:

She'll come get you another ass whooping, that's for lying. I was shooting at something and it said bing and I heard behind me. I was like I looked over that whole window was shaking, oh it ricocheted.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, That'll happen.

Speaker 1:

I was like damn. You said what the hell happened.

Speaker 2:

I don't know yeah right, that's how my mom was. My mom would fuck you up. It didn't matter, like she wasn't waiting for response. She didn't want to hear the reasoning she had. No, it was just that's it. You fucked up. I'm getting you right now. I I got ass whippings multiple times for shit. I never even did, but my mom thought I did it. For sure I did it. No, you did this one. But I'm saying have you ever gotten your ass whipped for something you didn't do?

Speaker 1:

probably not.

Speaker 2:

No, really I did it when I was a kid, I used to get my. My mom didn't play man, she wouldn't even wait around for something you didn't do.

Speaker 2:

Oh, a lot, all the time, all the time. I remember one time specifically it was a Misty, my daughter Misty, her mom and her sister dropped me off at home. They had a station wagon. So I my bike was in the back of the station wagon and I get home, I take it, put it down in the basement. That was when I lived in the projects over there. So I go and I put the bike in the basement, I come up, my mom pulls in around the same time, starts yelling about me, at me, about riding a bike home at midnight or whatever it was. I'm like I didn't. They dropped me off, don't fucking lie. I seen you start whooping my ass. I'm like what the hell? I definitely got a ride and to this day that shit still like irritates me. Like I know I got a ride. I listened. Your what, huh, your what? Oh, no, I did shit, I got away with.

Speaker 1:

I'm not saying I ever didn't like.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean. I think trouble to ass whoopings.

Speaker 1:

I think I got less ass whoopings than dumb shit I did, so I think we're fair I think it's all fair enough.

Speaker 2:

You're good, yeah, but she wasn't gonna explain, she wasn't waiting for explanations, is all I'm saying. That's not in her, that's not her.

Speaker 1:

That she's not doing it, period, never happening I'm still thinking about that three inch hangership the hell three inches.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I got. I got my ass whooped once. I got thrown out for danny once. I was in akron all weekend and my mom was camping out where she lives now and I come home and she comes home about an hour and a half later after I do from akron. I was in akron all weekend. I'm 19 years old or whatever she. She threw my ass out. She was like something about the neighbors complaining about music Wasn't me. I didn't have the music up, it had to have been Danny. So I mean, yeah, that shit happened all the time.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he said he got his ass whooping for shit. His brother did.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I believe that. I believe that Tim's mom, or Brian and Tim's mom was a lot like my mom, so that probably was the same thing.

Speaker 1:

She probably didn't wait for explanations either. I like it when the parents used to whoop all of them. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

One person did something, whoop them all yeah, I don't remember that ever happening, like I don't remember anybody else's parents ever whooping me.

Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no, no. I'm saying their own kids Like one did something, like fighting or something, so the one that didn't have nothing to do with it, they got it too. They would just whoop three of them. Yeah, that's part of that big family shit that you just have to deal with.

Speaker 2:

I ain Sign up Right. Whoop all that ass Right. Or maybe they'll make you explain or make one person give in, like, if one person admits to it, then everybody else is off the hook.

Speaker 1:

Turn one of them kids straight into a narc. You're going to be a narc the rest of your life.

Speaker 2:

Oh, Dylan's friends are starting their narc stage. Oh yeah, oh, I was dying yesterday. We were out front and they're like out there just snitching. I mean they're just snitching on everything. The one little boy is like telling me that Dylan's listening to YouTube videos with cuss words in his backyard. I'm like, yeah, probably us. Oh, what kind of friends is this? Yeah, and Dylan's like how do I know if it's going to have a cuss word? Dylan's like I didn't know what is he talking about, Just trying his best to go. I don't know what he's talking about, but Dylan ain't snitching on nobody. He didn't have shit to say on none of them, but the rest of them were going ham.

Speaker 1:

He better start looking into that. Like yeah, I'm going to have to change friends here.

Speaker 2:

Right, that's what I said. That ain't how friends roll. Fuck that snitching shit. I mean he was telling the parents yeah, wow, this dude pushed me out two-story window. I got my ass whooped because he said I started it. That's the kind of shit I would get my ass. I got blamed. Remember when someone was breaking into the rooftops? Yeah, you remember that my mom was making me explain where the fuck I was at. She thought I was the one breaking into the rooftops. That's a good mom, I'm like. What would make you think I'm doing that? Where did that come from?

Speaker 1:

Well, when you're leaving at night with the ski mask on and some rope?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they were going in. Weren't they going in through the hoods right or the HVAC units or something? No, they were popping holes in the roofs.

Speaker 1:

They were cutting holes in the roof. Yeah, they were taking sledgehammers and popping holes in them. Or, if they found an easier way, they went in, but they were just popping holes.

Speaker 2:

I thought they were going through the duct system or maybe the vents or something. I don't know.

Speaker 1:

But they got in there and they were going from the top. They had alarms, but they didn't have the modern alarms like we got now Remember they were just at the door so they could come in. Yeah, they was killing it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I got in trouble for that and I had nothing to do with it. Never once was I ever on a roof commercial roof like that when I was a kid, but I got in trouble for it.

Speaker 1:

He probably was my brother, but that was pretty wild. They got away with it for a while too. Oh yeah, killing it. Yeah, they were, that was pretty wild.

Speaker 2:

They got away with it for a while too. Oh yeah, killing it. Yeah, they were doing it for a long time. I don't know who that was. Do you remember who got caught for it?

Speaker 1:

I don't want to say their names, but yeah, I do remember a couple of them.

Speaker 2:

Was Tim Ray one of them? No, no, yeah, he was. I don't know. I don't remember Tim doing shit like that. It was always fun, but I don't remember him doing shit like that. He was a wild child. For sure, though, tim and Brian both actually, brian maybe was a little tamer than Tim, maybe, I don't know.

Speaker 1:

I was trying to chase them, damn women. That's what that, brian, was doing. Yeah, brian.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he was definitely a horn dog, for sure. Oh show, that was. Where did you when you used to go down over the hill over there? What was you guys doing down there?

Speaker 1:

Where.

Speaker 2:

Down over the hill when you would go hang out over the hill.

Speaker 1:

Oh, we used to dirt bike. Brad had dirt bikes and stuff. We used to go riding Fires. Just good shit. Bb gun wars.

Speaker 2:

No glasses, just shooting each other. It was crazy stupid. Yeah, we never had glasses either, I wonder, I wonder why, like, how much? How often do people like go on those metro parks like that? Is it enough to like take it from the kids? Oh yeah, you think so, I know they go on and enough that it's worth taking it from the kids.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, really, yeah, that place is packed every morning, really, mm-hmm, you got all them people that walk. They just put that new spot on the east side. They put a new walk area.

Speaker 2:

What do you mean?

Speaker 1:

Like right in the Sheffield or what is that Sheffield Village? Right by the police station. As soon as you make that turn, they put a whole new. It's like a bridge and it's got wood like a. Yeah, it's like a little wood bridge.

Speaker 2:

Oh, really, to continue the walk? Yeah, so it's connected to this one.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

So it goes now from how far, like, because it starts way, way out, right.

Speaker 1:

I don't know where they end up, but it goes through there, it goes down by. You know, it's got that where they, they got that marina where they store the boats on the right. Yeah, it goes all the way past that.

Speaker 2:

It comes all the way, then it goes back in and then it comes back out by mcdonald's and shit I wonder if it goes, if it's the same trail that goes all the way into, like wellington and opaline, I don't know. I I wonder if it is, because I know that trail goes all the way to Elyria for sure, like to Ford Park and all that where you're at, but I think that that metro park connects and goes all the way out to Oberlin. There's like that little trail that comes past. It comes by. You remember where my shop was?

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

On Albrecht, remember where they used to have that little port-a-john right there out front. That's a trail that's coming, that's a bike trail right there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't know if it goes that far.

Speaker 2:

I think that whole trail keeps going. I think so we should jump on bikes and do it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

No.

Speaker 1:

Motorcycles. Electric bikes it's funny because them healthy people try. You know, I don't get it like people that say, oh, I'm gonna get a bike, and they get electric bike that ain't.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that don't make no damn sense. Yeah, no, that don't make no sense at all. Amanda's been riding a bike scotty give her up one of his old schwinn's or whatever and she's been riding that thing quite a bit with dylan now. Now it makes me kind of want to get a bike and check that trail.

Speaker 1:

I'd like to do the whole trail.

Speaker 2:

I just don't want to do like I don't want to walk it, but I would ride that bike on that trail. I mean that could be like 20 miles, I don't know. We could probably Google it without even taking a bike ride. Why take a bike ride? We'll just Google it, or we'll go buy some electric bikes. It's like why? Go visit Europe when we can just see images on the screen right. Oh speaking of see that thing I sent you about.

Speaker 1:

Michigan? What about it, that island? I forget what it was called. Remember I sent it to you. I don't remember I remember I said it was like a Put-In-Bay kind of thing.

Speaker 2:

Oh really.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, in Michigan. Maybe I didn't send it to you.

Speaker 2:

I don't think I've seen it. No, it's not Mackinac, is it? Is that what you're talking about? It might be. It's got bridges that go over it to it.

Speaker 1:

No, this one's Straight Ferry. It is I wonder?

Speaker 2:

what it's called.

Speaker 1:

I got the video. I kept it because I want to check it out.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that would be cool.

Speaker 1:

Oh, it's real nice.

Speaker 2:

I've always wanted to take the boat.

Speaker 1:

That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

And to like go up Lake St Clair and stuff. They say that it's beautiful when you come up, like when you first come into Lake St Clair, it's, it's. They do a big thing there every year, like a big uh, rope off you know where you rope your boats all together. That it's like a huge. I mean literally. I've seen videos of it where there's like I bet you it's close to four or five hundred boats are all in there, something to that effect take a minute you're taking a break.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we got a break. After these messages, gito will be right back, so I guess yeah, brian, it's Brad Mowry, that's who he's talking about. Why do you used to go riding with him, or no? I'm trying to look and see how long the Metro Parks, how long the trail goes from the Metro Parks. Lorain County Metro Parks. I want to know how far it goes. Lorain County Metro Parks trail map. Right, that ought to be it. Right, let me see. They got to give me a map.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, it's massive.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's huge, it goes forever. It looks like it goes on and on, and on and on and on. But it's all of Lorain County. That's pretty cool. Kipton, is that right? Am I seeing it right? That can't be right, is it? It goes all the way to Kipton. I ain't riding a bike to Kipton. That ain't happening. He was on the softball team for years. That's the same guy. Yep, that was guido's buddy back in the day. They were always hanging out, chilling and kicking it. I see, uh, I see this metro parks looks like it goes all the way, literally. I wish it was to tell me how many miles it is, though, but it looks like it goes all the way to Kipton. That's insane to me If that's true, but that's what it looks like it does. That's kind of crazy. Go all the way. It looks like it goes all the way to Kipton. Guido, for real. Yeah, like literally the same trail, just goes all the way to kipton.

Speaker 1:

It looks like I don't know.

Speaker 2:

Huh, you're still on. Yeah, we're still on. What do you mean?

Speaker 1:

all right here, let me see if I can find what else yeah, what is this right here like?

Speaker 2:

if you look at this right here, there's the map, if you're looking at it, and it looks like it literally keeps going all the way down here to Kipton. That's insanity. Who would have knew Goes to Kipton. That's what it shows. Look at that map right there. You see it.

Speaker 1:

Hold on. No, I'm not on it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's like that's the trailhead right there. It goes all the way to Kipton. That's wild. Who would have known? I didn't ever guess it. That's cool though.

Speaker 1:

Man, we was walking that thing and I was like man, is this thing almost over? We didn't even begin, mm-mm.

Speaker 2:

No, I told you, I know it goes all the way. I thought that all connected. I was pretty sure that that all connects. I wonder how long it is, though. That's what I want to know the actual like mileage of it. That'd be cool. Oh shit, I'm sure it's long. Let's do it. Let's get a bike and do it. Yeah right, why not Do one beer a mile? So we drink one beer every mile. We go Right, stop drink a beer, go another mile, stop drink a beer, we'd get two miles in.

Speaker 1:

I'm realistic.

Speaker 2:

Man, I was drinking yesterday. It's not my thing, dude. That's not what I'm good at. I am an amateur drinker's. For sure, man, I used to be a pro, yeah I am no pro anymore.

Speaker 2:

Well, you know what, not eating very good as, as a part of it too, I actually ended up yesterday eating more because I was getting into the burgers and stuff they had over there, just because I was worried about, you know, the, the alcohol in me I needed. I needed a break from the, something to absorb it or something you know. But I don't think it works. After you drink, you think it does Like if I eat heavy before I go drinking, I can drink a lot, I can drink pretty good and it doesn't really affect me, but it seems like when I try and go eat after I already started drinking, it doesn't seem like it like helps out, sobers me up or does anything for me. I think you eat after. No, I think people that do that do that so that the alcohol they get the most for their alcohol.

Speaker 1:

I think you don't get that hangover. After I just sent it to you, you got it now. What is that?

Speaker 2:

It's that island I was telling you about. Oh, the island. Yeah, that's pretty cool bucket list, most magical place in the world. No, I'm just does it say where it's? At it is it's mackinac island. It says that's mackin.

Speaker 1:

There ain't no bridges there.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, there's a bridge that goes over to it.

Speaker 1:

That ain't what it said, but okay.

Speaker 2:

It's hashtag Mackinac Island.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but it said the only way to get there is by ferry.

Speaker 2:

Oh, maybe it's next to Mackinac, I don't know.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, but look at the water in there, it's so clear it's not Mackinac, it's Mackinac.

Speaker 2:

I've never been there personally. That looked cool as hell to me. It is Like, yeah, that is Mackinac Island, for sure, that's what it is, and there is a bridge, but maybe I'm wrong.

Speaker 1:

Maybe the bridge goes over the island, maybe I don't know.

Speaker 2:

They said there's no way to get there other than a ferry or boat. Really, I thought that the bridge went there. I don't know, I don't know but mackinaw's, but like that's a, that's a, everybody loves that place, but it's not like puddin bay.

Speaker 1:

No, it's more mellow, it's not?

Speaker 2:

it's yeah, it's more like a tourist thing it's not like a party central place. Yeah, it's not even like kelly's, it's like uh, it's more like uh, martha's, maybe martha's vineyard or something you know. Yeah, I watched the video. I was like I'm checking that out and I think they, if I remember right, I think they have a golf course there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's real big.

Speaker 2:

I think, yeah, it's definitely not like put-in-bay, for sure put-in-bay is unique. I mean, there's not a whole lot of places like that, except for, like, maybe Key West or something it's like designed to party like that.

Speaker 1:

So, out of this area, what do you think is a really nice spot to check out? Well, of course, Put-In-Bay, kelly's Island.

Speaker 2:

What else I want to see? Middle Bass Island that's on my bucket list.

Speaker 1:

I keep wanting to go, and every time I take the left into Put-In-Bay and go there instead. So what's supposed to be the difference over there? What's going?

Speaker 2:

on over there. It's a lot smaller. It's got a new marina that they put in a little while back and a resort or whatever and it's got just a little bar. I think there's like maybe two bars on the whole island. It's smaller but it's got a cool little spot Like it's a restaurant bar and in the back it's got this water. What's it?

Speaker 2:

Johnny Walleyes, I think, is the name of the place, and it's got a. It's like maybe like a wading pool type thing. It's only like four inches deep but it looks like a creek, maybe it's a foot deep. It looks like a creek, maybe it's a foot deep, looks like a creek, and it goes through all the outside dining out there and you can just chill out there with your feet in the water or whatever and hang out. So it's not like. It's definitely not a party place. It definitely doesn't have as much to do as kelly's, but it seems pretty cool like and it's it. I just want to see it once. At least go there and check it out. I'm sure it's probably not going to be real fun, but it could be real relaxing. Sounds right.

Speaker 1:

You know what I mean. Yeah, turn your phone off and go kick it.

Speaker 2:

Might not have to. Your phone might not work.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that might be an even better thing, because we have trouble at Put-In-Bay sometimes.

Speaker 2:

Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Oddly enough, at Put they don't. Oddly enough at put-in-bay. My phone won't work but yet I can use the data to run my tvs in the in the boat. Isn't that weird? That doesn't make any sense. And I remember years ago we would go there and we would be pinging off of canada like it was like charging us roaming service. Yeah, if you didn't have your roaming turned off, it would go into Canada, because you're literally, when you're at Put-In-Bay, you're only you're what a mile away from the border. If that Something like that, I mean it cuts right up through there, it comes up on the other side of Middle Bass and then Pelee, which is right there. Pelee is in Canada.

Speaker 1:

You ever been to Canada?

Speaker 2:

I mean maybe on accident that's about it. No, I've never been there. I've never been to Canada. I mean, I've been to the edge. You know what I mean, coming through on the boat. I may have crossed over, possibly, but I don't know for sure. I doubt I did, though, because I'm pretty direct path when I go out on the boat.

Speaker 1:

I didn't mean accidentally waters, I'm pretty direct path when I go out on the boat. I didn't mean accidentally waters, I'm talking like on land.

Speaker 2:

No, I never have. No, I never have you been there.

Speaker 1:

Mm-mm.

Speaker 2:

Never even like even in Niagara Falls, canadian side that's what they say is the best to go to Canadian side. Nah, no, I never been there. I haven't been to a lot of places here. I want to go to that park that has that slide. Have you seen that? That's in Ohio. It's pretty cool. It's like a campground and it's got this slide that goes way down the hill and it'll launch you when you come up. It's got a hook and it'll freaking launch you 40 feet in the air, maybe something like that, and you land in the pond. Oh no, it's badass, it's cool.

Speaker 1:

I've probably seen videos of it or something.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it looks cool, but they have it right here. That's in Ohio. I'd like to go check that out. And it's not that far. I think it's only like an hour and a half from here. Yeah, yeah, maybe even only an hour, and it's a campground so you could go camp. In fact, my mom got me a tent for Christmas. I should set that up. I should just go do that one weekend. That would be cool.

Speaker 1:

We say a lot of things, but we don't do nothing.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's true. My thing is you know what I need to do. I need to get a surgery on my knee. That's what I got to do my knees, my knee. I got to do that meniscus surgery because my knees are hurting me so bad all the time. Anymore, it's everything I do. It hurts.

Speaker 2:

That's part of getting old, I guess you know, I wouldn't know, but I like I my injury, he had it done. He said it's, he goes, that my knee feels, great, it goes, feels just like when I was a kid there's no problems, no more. And then he said, well, sometimes I go, okay, all right.

Speaker 1:

Now the truth comes out my dad had surgery on his knee and then the other one he had surgery on he's. I think he's having complications with that one.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, my well, my left one is the one that first started hurting real bad and then I had, uh, all that mri and all that done and they said I need a meniscus surgery. But it quit hurting and then I just left it alone and it still doesn't hurt. But my right one hurts like a son of a bitch. No, any other one it must be. I don't know what it, what caused it? I don't know. People are freaking ridiculous with the and I know, you know, my knees are my fault. When I was a kid I used to do stupid shit. You know, like when I lived at pearl village I don't know why I thought it was cool to like jump out the window out of the second story. Like just jump out the window, just like to prove I could do it, like I'll do it, these young guys at work, they'll jump off the top.

Speaker 1:

you know from the trucks this high, you know. Yeah, they'll jump off that and I'm like man climb down them steps.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, jimmy Dean used to bitch at me when I was an apprentice. All the time He'd bitch at me for jumping off the Baker. He goes dude, you're going to pay for that later. Right fault. I know I've caused my own knee issues. I know that for sure. But I need to get it fixed so that I can have a more comfortable you know day.

Speaker 2:

Every day, you know right better quality of life yeah, oh, I mean, just sitting up from a chair hurts. You know what I mean? That's just. That's not how life's supposed to be, fuck that you know, nobody wants to do that. That's not cool at all. So what happened at work? You guys got your incentive. Yeah, yeah, nobody wants to do that. That's not cool at all. So what happened at work? You guys got your incentive. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

We got it.

Speaker 2:

You get the incentive now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

How's that going to go? I?

Speaker 1:

don't know, I ain't going to be there.

Speaker 2:

You ain't going to be there. No, no.

Speaker 1:

Why not? That's not what.

Speaker 2:

I thought it was going to be.

Speaker 1:

That's all.

Speaker 2:

So you quit.

Speaker 1:

No, I put in my two weeks. That's quitting. No, I didn't walk off.

Speaker 2:

No, yeah, no, you gave the two weeks right. Yeah, yeah, you're going to go for the two weeks.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, anybody else leaving with you?

Speaker 1:

I don't know.

Speaker 2:

No, you don't know.

Speaker 1:

No, you don't know. I don't know. I took Friday off, does Joe?

Speaker 2:

believe you when you said you gave it.

Speaker 1:

He knows.

Speaker 2:

I am. He knows you're doing it. Yeah, because you've done it before. Yeah, so that's fucked up.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, oh well.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so then, what are you going to do now?

Speaker 1:

I'm going to go hang out with Brian.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, doing block work.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm going to show him how to do it.

Speaker 2:

I don't think Brian knows Jimmy Dean, does he? I don't know? I don't think Brian knows. How does he know Jimmy Dean? Was there a Jimmy Dean around here that I didn't know about? I don't know? I don't know about, I don't know, I don't know that. I don't know. If he knows who that is, I don't know how he would know. Yeah, that's Jimmy Dean was my partner in business, my first. He was actually the journeyman I trained under Ryan and a carpenter's union. He's from what the hell is the town he's from?

Speaker 2:

I can't remember he must know him I don't see how dude he's from so far away. He's at hiram. That's where he's from, hiram, like where hiram college is. That's where he grew up at he's wait.

Speaker 1:

He's like an hour hour. Huh, brian never worked for you no, not that I know.

Speaker 2:

No, he, no, brian never worked. No, he was always. He was always in concrete and masonry, or something he was on jobs with him with jimmy?

Speaker 2:

I don't think so, not that I know of, not that I'm aware of, but there's got to be a jimmy dean. There's probably another jimmy dean. That's probably who he's talking about. There's a labor, oh, there's a labor brian might be talking about that's named Jimmy Dean. Yeah, that's probably who he's talking about in the laborers' union. That's probably exactly who he's talking about. Yeah, he would probably know him from the laborers, I would guess, because that's his wheelhouse. That's what he does. You know what I mean? Yeah, we did Not that I wouldn't think so I don't remember ever seeing Brian on a job site with of mine.

Speaker 1:

I've seen him. I've seen what was it Johnny Moore Jr. I've seen him on a job. I've seen Brian.

Speaker 2:

I think they was together on the same job. Yeah, no, I never. I always worked in like Cleveland Akron. I never really worked around here too much. The only things I did around here was that shopping center. Me and Jimmy Dean used to have the same girl in the 80s, I don't know. Huh, it can't be the same Jimmy Dean, it can't, it just can't. I mean Jimmy dean was in hiram and back then you know what I mean and jimmy's like six years older than I am.

Speaker 1:

I think six or seven years old and brian's probably younger than you, so yeah, no, brian's older than me, is he?

Speaker 2:

yeah, brian's, I think a year older than me, if I remember, remember right, he might be right, yeah, but yeah, I was always working out there, like in the Cleveland area. The only things I did around here was a Quaker steak, the Mike Bass.

Speaker 1:

And the little hospital out in Sandusky. No, no, it was closer.

Speaker 2:

What was it Around here? Yeah, when I started on my own, I started doing, but that was like when I was on my own we started doing more with Star and Janata and Herner. So we were doing more like Sandusky area and stuff with Janata, and then he's 54. He's a lot older than me. You're that much older than me, Brian Jesus.

Speaker 1:

He's older than me.

Speaker 2:

I didn't know that. How is that possible Four years older? The hell was I doing hanging out with you?

Speaker 1:

He's only a year older than me.

Speaker 2:

I don't know why I was hanging out with him.

Speaker 1:

He's that much older. Well, you got to remember he was 5'4".

Speaker 2:

Everybody I hung out with was older than me. I never hung out with kids my age ever. I didn't even like I don't even know who was all my age. I was always with older kids since I was young. I don't know why they was doing the fun shit smoking, weed, drinking I wasn't into that I was when I was a kid you weren't? No, oh, I was. Yeah, I loved it. I smoked, weed drank, I did all that good stuff.

Speaker 1:

I drank, but I didn't smoke. Weed Still don't. Everybody clearly thinks I do and I'm like no.

Speaker 2:

With what weed Right now they think you do.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, People think I smoke. Weed Get offered all the time when they're smoking here yeah, no, I never get.

Speaker 2:

I never I did. When I was young, like when I was like 20 something years old, people would constantly come up to me and it would annoy the shit out of jen. People would constantly come at me and be like, oh, you got any weed, or you got this, or you want to buy, you know? I mean like it annoyed her and it's like I I didn't do nothing to cause that. They just just showed up and asked me. I don't know them. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I didn't, I wasn't in it.

Speaker 2:

Like we'd just be at Burger King. You know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

And that would happen.

Speaker 2:

It was crazy. Yeah, that was nuts. I don't know why that would happen or why that would go on.

Speaker 1:

It was ridiculous. The one that wasn't me, just straight up, wasn't me. Yeah, it was you no.

Speaker 2:

How did they fix this mental? That's? This is what I this is my big thing that I that's what I really wanted to get into today is what can they do to solve like those mental shit that's going on with everybody like they?

Speaker 1:

gotta do something. What is there to do?

Speaker 2:

there's's got to be something dude, there has to be something what I don't know, but you can't just keep ignoring it and letting it go on.

Speaker 1:

It's not ignoring it. There's no solution for it, that's all.

Speaker 2:

I don't know. I saw that judge, that judge that let her walk with the paperwork clearly checked that her mental state isn't right, says he wouldn't do anything different.

Speaker 1:

he probably can't like by law. There's laws and there's what you would want to do. Probably went by the law, that's all, that's what he said.

Speaker 2:

He went by the law, but that something's got to be changed, something's got. You can't just like freaking I I just don't know that that mental stuff. Something has to be changed. You can't just like freaking. I just don't know that mental stuff. Something has to be done. They have to change the way they're doing things to some degree. Something has to be done because there's too much going on with people where they're like, they feel like that you know what I mean Like whether it's suicide or they're taking other people out or whatever it is. But something's causing it because it didn't exist 30 years ago, like it does today, 40 years ago, like it does today.

Speaker 1:

Well, 40 years ago the population wasn't how it is now. So by percent it probably is.

Speaker 2:

The population is high in China and they don't have the same issues.

Speaker 1:

How do you know what's going on in China?

Speaker 2:

Well, if they do, they hide it well.

Speaker 1:

You watch China news all the time.

Speaker 2:

Sometimes. No, I mean I watch world news. I get it, but they ain't going to have that shit but no, they constantly say that it's a United States issue, like it's an American issue. You don't have nearly as much of that going on now in other countries. You have like uh, whatever you want to call it, like jihads and stuff like that that go on that where there's that kind of stuff going on, but it's not like that mental, that mental well, listen that illness where you just stab a kid in a grocery store.

Speaker 1:

That shit where that guy's eating his enemy. That's not normal.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's not normal at all, but that's part of his war, though. That's two, that's different. That's not the same dude. The things that go on in America, like that guy that shot up the iHeart Music Festival, remember that, I mean what. The things that go on in America, like that guy that shot up the I Heart Music Festival, remember that, I mean what the hell. How could something like that go on? Like what caused that guy to want to do that? Something's got to get in, somebody's got to do something, something's got to change somehow.

Speaker 1:

And I don't know what it is. I don't see how you stop any of that.

Speaker 2:

You just I don't see how you stop any of it. I don't either, because it's random people, you just don't know. But what do you think is causing the biggest part of that? Mentally Problems? Now, like, what do you think it is? Is it the social media? Is it them pumping them in drugs? Is it?

Speaker 1:

Maybe it's a combination.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, something's going on. I just don't get it Like that guy that went and did that how old was he? He was in his 50s, right, I don't know. He went and opened fire, Like he took out a lot of people at that iHeart Music Festival. You know what I'm talking about, right, Mm-mm? This was like. That was a while ago, like probably a few years back, I don't remember exactly when big, massive music festival in vegas and he booked a hotel up up high and freaking oh yeah, I do remember just started open fire on the crowd, just right into the crowd many of those now that it's kind of hard to keep them and keep track.

Speaker 2:

Yeah oh yeah, but that's all mental illness, that's. That's a mental illness, for sure. I mean, that's definitely a mental illness.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I guess you could label it that way, but I'm just saying people, it's not.

Speaker 2:

I mean, you don't go shoot a crowd if you ain't mentally ill.

Speaker 1:

What I'm saying is not that they're incompetent because he planned it out. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

No, I didn't say incompetent, I said mental.

Speaker 1:

That's what I'm saying, so I don't know how you would. You couldn't pinpoint that shit. It's going to just happen.

Speaker 2:

No, I'm not saying that. I'm not saying that you can. No, I'm not trying to talk about like, changing it like that. I'm saying, like what does society need to do to stop building those characters like that? Like that's the biggest thing, like I mean, it's the and I think social media plays a part of it to some degree. I mean you get all this news. It's all fake news. You never know what's real, what's not real, just like the Shaq thing. I sent you that thing after. Remember, last week you said that about Shaq, it was a definite Shaq's going. No, I was being funny. You know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but it's after the fact. He did say it though.

Speaker 2:

But he said it in a comical way. If you watched a clip where he said it, you clearly know that it's funny. But that's not what went out on social media.

Speaker 1:

That's not what everybody saw it made it seem like he was a flatterer.

Speaker 2:

And people believe that. You know what I mean. And that's the kind of shit that goes on now. And people do that with arguing. They do it with all kinds of stuff, with the, with the.

Speaker 2:

You know, I seen a thing that said something about liberals. Liberals are there. It was an article that came out like I think like a month ago or something like that. Now liberals are like that's their go to move is that that liberals compared to conservatives, liberals are far more educated. That liberals compared to conservatives, liberals are far more educated. Like there was a study that came out that said people that are liberal are the ones that have went to colleges and stuff and have more education.

Speaker 2:

Well, that's because you're teaching liberalism in your colleges. So that's the reason that is the case. Because you go to college and they teach you the liberal ways. You know what I mean. Like I told you about Brandon years ago, remember, because you go to college and they teach you the liberal ways. You know what I mean. That's like the goat, like even. Like I told you about Brandon years ago. Remember Brandon had in high school. His teacher told him that something about him if he didn't study it or whatever, he'd end up a carpenter and Brandon was like huh, he was like my brother-in-law's a carpenter. He makes more than you do, you know. But that's the mentality is like oh no, you can't go work for a living and work hard or whatever. Yeah, you ain't going to be successful if you work hard.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and I was talking with Scotty whenever we had that Monday, when I had Scotty and Darius in here, we were talking because I seen something that said that a lot of entrepreneurs are uneducated.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

A lot of them are. I've seen that, yeah, and that's that's like and I was a huge number, like 90 something percent, are all uneducated, that are entrepreneurs and it's because they don't go with the system. You know what I'm saying? The system. You go to work, you go to school. They teach you how to go to work every day. That's basically what you get taught. You go to work every day and listen. You know what I mean. Do what you're told, go to work, make your paycheck. And entrepreneurs aren't those people they don't want. You know what I mean. So it didn't work in school and didn't work. So it makes sense to me. You know what I mean. Right that that that would be the case. What the liberals are saying, that that's that they're the more educated, or whatever, but I don't know that that education is a good education. I mean just because it was educated. Don't mean that you were. You know when they're teaching you shit like that, like hard work is stupid and right.

Speaker 1:

You know what I mean well, I don't know, the roles will change soon. The roles, oh yeah which roles are that? Like I don't know. Just like as in uh trades and shit, I think the pays are gonna be crazy after a while.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they have to. They have to go up. I mean, ford just set the bar. Ford just signed their contract and set the bar. There's big money involved now. That's why I was talking to Dave now, because he's ready to retire.

Speaker 2:

I was talking to him yesterday and he said he thinks he's going to retire but he just got into the Millwright. He did the whole program but he just got into like the mill, right pro, he'd like did the whole program, he's journey, he's topped out as a journeyman mill right in the, in the in ford, and then he's just going to retire. It's like, right, when they're getting ready to give you a bunch of money, he goes dude, I, I hate it there, I can't do it no more. He's like I and he said they're going to give him money to to buy him out. Basically, essentially they'll buy him out, but I don't know if that is enough money to. I mean, because they're paying that the pay increase is huge and I don't know what that does to your pensions, but I would imagine it would bump that too, right?

Speaker 2:

I mean I would at least stick around for a few years of that goody goody you know, see what the next uh deal is gonna be yeah, right, I mean not the next deal, but at least get some of this deal. You know what I?

Speaker 1:

mean, I've seen people make mistakes and pull out too early and I've seen people pull out perfect.

Speaker 2:

You know what?

Speaker 1:

I mean, it's a dice, it depends on what you do.

Speaker 2:

The thing is with Dave. Though Dave has all the rental property and stuff like that, he'll be fine either way, it doesn't much matter. But it's just that, like I seen, a guy that pulled out of was a cei, I think. He pulled out and he took all the money they. They gave him the buyout, he took it and started an hvac company, you know, and that like started doing like hvac repairs and stuff like that, went to school for it, just opened his own thing and did it. You know what I mean. So I don't know that. I mean it just depends on what you do with it after the fact, especially when you're young and I like dave's pretty young, pretty good health. I mean he's a tall guy, he probably started having hip problems. Those all those tall guys like they have hip problems and he's six, eight I think he's got a guy at work that's like that.

Speaker 1:

He's tall and he climbs in his ass front ass, I'm like. And that cabin in there is like this.

Speaker 2:

Is that the one you sent me the video of?

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

That's funny. I gave you the perfect opportunity. You got to do more with that. When I set you up, you got to come in hard man, you got to start doing that. That's how those TikToks and stuff are going to go. Good, those reels and stuff. When I set you up for those, like, because last week, what did I say? I forget what it was. Oh, next you're going to tell me you saw Sasquatch. Yeah, that was the perfect setup for you to go into it and you didn't.

Speaker 2:

You just let it go, you just laughed.

Speaker 1:

I got to see these people man.

Speaker 2:

But still, I mean it. You got set up, man, it was ready to go, it was, it could have been a. I mean, and that's where the good reels will come from, when you tell everybody likes your stories. Anyway, I'm gonna talk to him about it and tell him that you're gonna tell me, tell him on air and I will put the video out oh, you're gonna let it.

Speaker 2:

You're gonna ask him if he minds. He won't give a shit. No, yeah, I think, as, especially if you go with the respect up front and tell him you know what I mean, I think he'll be like that would be cool. He'll probably go wait to watch it himself. You know what I mean?

Speaker 1:

Well, I said it to him.

Speaker 2:

It was funny, man. It was funny. No, I mean, he'd watch the show himself, I mean yeah, man, it was hilarious.

Speaker 1:

He's walking across the parking lot and he's got this walk and I was like man, I videoed it. And then I was thinking you get this thing in your head and you wonder, I know I've seen this walk before and you think about it. Well, I didn't have to think about it, it was instant, instantly.

Speaker 2:

Instantly.

Speaker 1:

I was like that's Sasquatch. I'm going to talk to him and see if he says it's okay to post it. I don't want to put his video out there and shit.

Speaker 2:

Of him walking like that. It does look like Sasquatch. I've seen the video like that video where they show him walking. It's like even the same speed. I mean it's so exact.

Speaker 1:

So he tells me he's like guess what I'm going to be for Halloween? Man, that shit was funny, but yeah, that video. He's walking and I'm like man, I've seen this before yeah he should come do the Halloween contest.

Speaker 2:

He'll win for sure if he does Sasquatch. That's hilarious.

Speaker 1:

He's cool as hell too.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. We argue all the time, but it's all in fun. What do you argue about, man? We?

Speaker 1:

argue about if the sun's bright or not.

Speaker 2:

Well, that's just. You like to argue about shit.

Speaker 1:

No, he's like that too. So it's funny because it's like remember the old cartoon where the one they fight all day and at the end of the, the.

Speaker 2:

You know the cartoon they had a dog and uh, coyote or coyote.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they go to punch out. See you tomorrow bro yeah, see you later, ralph yeah so we, we talk shit all day and then at the end of the day we're like all right, see you tomorrow I'm getting hot up here.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's getting hot, all right brian right Brian. I think we're going to get out of here. I wanted to get into something better, but I'm too hungover to have done a good episode this week.

Speaker 2:

So, sorry, maybe I'll slide something in later in the middle of the week. We did do one with Scotty last week too. I want more interviews. I think that's something we've got to start doing more of. I like the interviews. Oh, by the way, I forgot, we got invited to do the podcast live remote again, where it is? Let me go look at it real quick, so I don't want to say it wrong. It is, we're already on it. It is at the browns alumni youth football camp okay, where's that?

Speaker 2:

july 29th, from 12 to 5. Where's that? Probably in berea, I would guess. I'm not sure 100. But yeah, marcus hooked us up. He got us set up to go in there, okay.

Speaker 2:

I do so we got to be ready to go mobile Good podcast. Do a mobile one, a good one? I don't know. We'll probably just try and do an audio one. Probably is what I'm guessing no video, you know, because the video sucked when we tried to do it. I think we'll just record an audio one and put it out instead of trying to do it like we did last time. I don't know, maybe We'll see, maybe I'll start digging into that trailer, I don't know. I got a question though how much you think we could build a frickin' concrete slab over here in the field for Little to nothing, like maybe 20 by 40?.

Speaker 2:

I don't know 22 by 40, maybe by 40?. Yeah, by 40. 22 by 40, maybe 40. Yeah, why you want to build a garage there? I do. I need to get a slab there first though for it to go do it, but I was thinking about ordering it well, just ordering the garage.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm gonna build it. No, that fuck. No, I, I don't think I could. There's no way. The one I, the one I'm looking at, dude, it's like three car garage big and a man door installed on your property for 10. Yeah, and they did dales and they put it up in a day right you know what I mean. Like it's all you got to do is get that concrete ready for it. Donnie said he'd give me a hand with the concrete for dinner and a couple beers yeah.

Speaker 1:

So Well, I'll just do it at the same time. We do your house, just the equipment for the same day, do the whole thing at one time. Yeah, even if you don't do one or the other, you have it already dug out and formed up and stuff have it ready to go, all right, well, but anyways, other, you have it already dug out and formed up and stuff.

Speaker 2:

Have it ready to go, all right, well, but anyways, yeah, that's what I want to do. I want to put a garage over there, but I got to go find out what I got to do with the township, right, find out what's gonna make sense over there and what's gonna piss off shea. She, I don't think she will, but I mean I, I want to because I, even if I make that a parking lot at a later date, I think we could have a garage in the corner and I don't think it would hurt it, right.

Speaker 1:

Which are you talking?

Speaker 2:

over here or over there In the field here.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm saying on this side of it or that side of it.

Speaker 2:

I would like to go on that side against Shea's. That's what my, with the garage doors facing the dollar store.

Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, facing that way.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, either that or opposite what the garage doors facing Shay, I don't know one or the other. Either way, it would end up in the parking lot. Eventually, it would just be in the parking lot. You know what I mean. All right, well, all right, we're getting ready to get out of here Everybody. It was real, it was fun. Get out of here Everybody. It was real, it was fun. Sorry, we weren't that good. Make sure you go and follow us on YouTube, tiktok, twitter, and make sure you follow and subscribe so that you see everything right when it comes out.
