The Fathers Promise
Beloved, it is written,
“You are witnesses of these things. And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high,” (Lk 24:48-49).
The first thing our victorious resurrected Lord Jesus Christ says about the baptism of Holy Spirit is that this is the Father’s promise to those who believe and wait for Him.
Oh the promise of God. The book of Acts is a book of Promise. It is filled with scene after scene of the promise fulfilled. Join us and the Lord Jesus’ excitement and joy about this promise of the gift of the Holy Spirit.
