Dr Shelley James is a passionate and accomplished innovator in the world of lighting design. With over 20 years of experience in the industry and a background in physics and electronics, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work at Age of Light Innovations in the UK.

As a designer, researcher, and educator, Dr James has played an integral role in advancing the field of lighting design. She has worked on numerous high-profile projects around the world, including the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Shard in London. Her innovative approach to lighting has earned her many accolades and recognition, including the Lighting Designer of the Year award from the Lighting Design Awards in 2015.

In addition to her work in lighting design, Dr James is also a passionate advocate for sustainability and the environment. She actively promotes the use of energy-efficient lighting solutions and is dedicated to finding ways to reduce the carbon footprint of lighting design and production.
