Hey Friend,
I think we often aren't great at talking about when life is hard, when the world feels heavy, when inside yourself feels dark, when you feel tired and you feel alone. So what do I do when life is hard and heavy and dark and alone? I first wanna encourage you that you're not the only one that struggles with these feelings. You're not alone in these feelings. And then I wanna encourage you to feel your feelings. It's OK and actually can cause a release to feel your sadness, to cry, lash out in anger if you need to. Feel the emotions inside of you. But don't stop there. Reach out. You can reach out to us here. You can reach out to a trusted friend or safe adult, a teacher, a coach a parent and older sibling, an aunt or uncle -- anyone that you know is safe. Be honest. Ask them to create safe space for you. Then you can always seek out a counselor or therapist to work through your emotions with you. You do not have to walk this journey alone. And you know, the thing is -- when we feel our feelings, even, and especially, the hard ones and the heavy ones, I believe a feeling those feelings digs deep wells of compassion in our hearts so when other people have these feelings, we become a safe space for them.

I can't wait to meet you here tomorrow.
