In this message we’ll focus on why it is crucial for those who are in Christ to persevere to the very end if we are to receive the prize offered by the Almighty God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Job 17:9 says, “Yet the righteous holds to his way, and he who has clean hands grows stronger and stronger.” Therefore, in Christ, perseverance is not a once and a while event like Sunday church services or bible studies. It is not praying a sinner’s prayer and falsely believing that we are saved because that is what someone at your church told you. It is more than volunteering our time to help others in the name of the Lord. Instead, it is living wholeheartedly for our Lord every day, 100% of our lives, to serve His purpose and not our own.
